Can someone make a list of which devices are considered "Second-Generation"? - Android One (Second-Generation) General

Can someone make a list of which devices are considered "Second-Generation"?
I have a phone called Infinix Hot 2 (Android One, MT6580, 16GB Internal memory, codename "Infinix_X510_sprout") which is supposed to be a second-gen android one phone according to Wikipedia but all the "second-gen" ROMS here doesn't seem to be compatible with it.

Easy:
Only Snapdragon devices are supported here.
.
Usually, nobody from the DEV's is interested in MTK devices, since there is no source/support from Mediatek available.

Your phone(codename sprout, Mediatek 6582 CPU) is 1st gen Android One phone.

[Sprout 16] Infinix Hot 2 X510

Hey guys I just got the android one varient Infinix hot 2 X510. It cpu is the same as other sprout 4 and 8 devices.
1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, MediaTek MT6582 chipset, Mali-400MP2 GPU
However it has 16gb internal storage a a 2gb ram.
Would this be considered sprout 16 and how would I port cm12.1 and other roms to this device.
-----------------------------
I have stumbled to what seems like source code for the MT6580.
Any one with experience could you look into this and see if we can compile aosp to this android one device
http://pan.baidu.com/wap/link?shareid=700368038&uk=3562802345&third=0&page=1
It says MT6580 though

I missed that, all the spec websites said it has MT6582
Could you cpuz your processor so I can see the difference.
Do you think this would mean I couldnt port Android One Sprout 4/8 roms to this device?

Yesterday I stumbled upon what seems to be like the source code for the motherboard mt6580
https://yadi.sk/d/Sm14nY5rf8ALx
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1c0vpEPq
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1o6j0nDg
What do you think now?
MT6580 for some reason uses a single-core version of the Mali-400 GPU. It's curious how it can handle 720p when there's another MTK chipset with MP2 GPU configuration but can only handle qHD screens.

Can anyone help porting?

Hey...
I need some help...
Rather it's a humble request...
Please can anyone port custom rom like cyanogenmod 12.1 or 13 for 2nd gen android one
Which are running on mediatek processor...
Plz 2 nd gen android one has no dev support...
Can anyone port?
Im using lava pixel v1 with android one second gen
Can anyone port a custom rom for it...
Plz do it guys...we need dev support
Wrong section.
Anyway, there already are CyanogenMod ROMs available for the second generation.
Unofficial 32-bit builds
Unofficial 64-bit builds
Official 32-bit builds (the 2nd gen Android One is the same as the Wileyfox Swift)
Some Android One 2nd gen devices differ from each other in terms of hardware, however, so I don't know if this works on your device. It works for the General Mobile 4G, though.
Hope this helps.
Please....

Codename of Hot 2 Android one

Just wondering if hot 2 has a codename??? Like sprout sprout 4 out sprout8etc or does it resemble not even a single Android one device

Hot 2 doesn't have a specific codename because it's more MTK than AOSP.
The other second gen Andorid One devices with MT6582 such as Lava Pixel V1 are called seedmtk while qualcomm variants are codenamed "seed".
It should be either seedmtk or sprout16 but if you look inside the ramdisk, you can clearly see it have MTK ramdisk structure, not sprout
Seedmtk16 maybe

That's not what I'm talking about.
Unpack PixelV1's boot.img and you'll see fstab.sprout, init.sprout.rc, init.sprout-common.rc etc. If it was like HOT 2, you would see fstab.mt6582, init.mt6582.rc etc. That was my point.
And I'm sure that even sprout16 would have worked. It's a matter of renaming. Because the device is very similar to other Android One devices.

Its not similar its Android One "Infinix Hot 2 is a part of family"
I don't know why mtk dosent own its own codename like in many device ro.product. model is only the codename which I hate, i but I like Xiamoi Redmi Note is more based on MTK than MSM where Note is mt6592 and Note 2 is MT6795 and Note 3 is MT6795 and Note 3 Pro is MSM but all MTK Have their own codename in ro.product.device

ro.product.device doesn't really define codename in HOT 2!
See? The name changes according to ROMs.
Android Android One: Infinix_X510_sprout
Infinix ROM: Infinix_X510
And the name is too long! Imagine putting Infinix_X510_sprout in a device tree !

Because it doesn't matter I guess.
I think we should focus on the important matters like cm-13.0.
You should take a look at the project you opened few weeks back.
I have made a progress because it can now boot but will stuck on "Starting Apps".
I might dump the project if no one else if going to help me. I feel like torturing myself LOL Cause my knowledge are very limited :fingers-crossed:

LeEco Le 2 x52x Adreno OpenGL/ Vulkan drivers update

Hello.
Any custom rom made a updated version with latest drivers? OpenGL v331 / Vulkan 1.1.95
Updated drivers improve system / gaming performance
Tried some custom roms but still OpenGL v2xx
I don't think at this point we'll really get any driver updates cause the SD 652 is a very rarely used chip and very few phones with this chip actually got any update till Nougat, let alone Pie.....couple that with the fact that we don't have the official latest kernel sources by Le Eco / Qualcomm, I would say that getting driver updates is next to impossible......then comes the other hardware limitations.....I would even be happy if this phone gets an android Q custom Rom update, hence ending it's lifespan with 5 major android OS updates.....But if any devs want to develop new drivers then I guess that's a completely different story....but unfortunately right now that's not the case.....

Thanks for answering...
I think Adreno 510 it's not an old GPU.
For example, Adreno 506 supports new drivers and received a updated port, maybe some developer can port it for 510 too :fingers-crossed: will be a good thing to all custom ROMs

Request helping with understanding the custom ROMs for Note 9 (SM-N960U)

Hey XDA Forums, first time poster but long time reader & custom ROM fan.
A friend gave me an old Note 9 w/ the SnapDragon 845 SoC. Its screen is busted so it's getting serviced under Samsung's $50 program right now. When it gets back I'd like to install a custom ROM on it but I've been lead to believe that working around/through Samsung+Qualcomm devices is generally much more difficult than other phones. My experience is rooting, flashing, and installing Lineage OS or Pixel Experience ROM on some other devices: Pixels, a Xiaomi Mi A1, and two Exynos Galaxy phones (one A5, one M20). All of these devices have very clear, straight forward How Tos by the respective groups that maintain those projects. I had a BLU phone w/ a MediaTek SoC that I bricked because I was just fumbling my way through trying to flash it from some random forums out there.
So, for this Note 9 I'd like to make sure I have the general order of operations correct and what ROM projects (if any) are out there.
1) Make sure phone is updated to Android 10
2) Install TWRP
3) Download ODM.
4) After wipe & factory reset install ODM.
5) Install custom ROM.
If the above is correct, are my only options for reliable ROMs the ones listed in the Note 9 Snapdragon ROMs/Kernels forum? https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/samsung-galaxy-note-9-snapdragon-roms-kernels.8318/
Are there any good/trustworthy Samsung enthusiast forums (hopefully ROM-focused) that anyone is able to point me to?
Thanks a ton everyone, I appreciate your time.

There's a telegram group for S9/Note9 Snapdragon roms/kernels stuff. I can't find it now. I'll share when I found it.
