I'm using BT REMOTE (http://bluetooth-remote-control.en.softonic.com/windowsmobile).
I guess I need to use COM PORTS? When I try to make an "outbound" COM port it says there are no devices.
I can connect my S730 with my PC for activesync easily. But this BT REMOTE is not working... I REALLY NEED IT.

just deleted the connection and paired again. and have no clue why it works now...............
I'm looki addon keyboard either bluetooth (HID profile) or standard
usb qwerty keyboard adapted with usb a m usb to usb micro-b 5pin
male. if the port can't provide enough power I can add a self-powered
usb hub (upto 2A 5vdc).
I'm not sure which bluetooth profile incredible prvides in froyo.
My problem is my fingures are too big for for softkeyboard,
an dn it doesn't come with a stylus.
Anyone know if its possible to use a 'real' or bluetooth keyboard
with Froyo Incredible?

I just saw this in a Mobile Crunch article describing a bluetooth keyboard earlier this week. (Mobile Crunch Article)
The product page states it will be available in 2011...its definitely a good idea, pending it works as good as we all hope it will! (Product Page)
I don't know about usb hid, but bluetooth hid is definitely not supported on an incredible stock rom.. rooted or not.

The port on the USB is the wrong end so I am thinking it will not work, but I wonder if BT serial ??? My stereo in the car transfers phone book data and controlls the phone and media player stuff so I bet with the correct drivers it could work.
Found Freedom Pro SPP/HID that should work

It's a dual mode SPP and HID, I talked to them, they provide a driver
for the Android so it can talk SPP and still be an HID device to the OS.
Mine is supposed to arrive monday, I'll test and report results.
I am hoping you had good results last Monday with the keyboard. How did it go?
Freedom Pro bluetooth keyboard does work, (at least with Virtuous 3.0.1).
I set the keyboard to SPP mode, and powered it on, paperclip poked its
button to get into pairing mode. It paired fine, code 0000.
Once in paired but not connected mode. I went to their website (on the phones browser)
to download the driver file. http://www.otadrivers.com. After install
I setup the driver in settings following the guide on their website. It worked after that.
I have stock rom.

Hello everyone,
I am trying to stream video over bluetooth using bluetooth tethering( i know it's silly) and I am in very early stages of least getting network running over bluetooth.
The ubuntu pc is able to detect and connect to the samsung galaxy grand's bluetooth tethering facility and use internet
it uses bnep to connect.
However the same phone's bluetooth tethering is not detected by Window(both 7 and 8).
Any leads on this..

Hi all,
I would like to connect to a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) device when the BLE device is near.
Tasker can list the nearby BLE devices and Secure settings can connect to Bluetooth devices, but it seems Secure Settings cannot connect to BLE devices (I am on Marshmallow).
All market apps (that I could find) which can connect to a BLE device get killed by android memory manager (e.g when recent apps are cleared).
I was wondering if Takser could be used to connect to a specific BLE device say using a shell command?
Any directions would be helpful.

Hi all. I have a problem connecting my ipega BT controller to my note 8. I used this controller with my s8+ without problems but When I connect it to the note8 it connects withoUt problems but doesn't work in the game (tried few games). the only thing that works is volume controls and in the internet browser it can move up and down the page. It seems to me my phone recognizes the controller as a keyboard. Does anyone have any idea What I could do? Thanks
