Hello to all forum members,
today I propose this small explanation of parallel application to the Google Play Store. This application, let us now, it is in Chinese, but the title of the sections (divine grace) is in English.

Here's what you can do
keep the application up to date, with updates that may not yet arrived on the store Google (see whatsapp with various minor update);
Update system applications such as Music, File Manager and other;
Uninstall app system less useful (for some) as a mirror or magnifying glass
His name was the App Center, then changed HiApp and is available to download from the official link here

What is it? Conflict signature. And I have problem with "files" I update this app and app like laggg. And app search update Du battery 3.9.9 go 3.9.8
And why Hiapp no find gallery and video app ?
MAny thanks dear its working so good the updated music app is so nice and the stock file manager as well, plus it does update apps before playstore does

you can only sideload xap's which are unsigned (like given here on XDA), the ones from store can only be installed through the store or via SD card. Looks like this one is from the store..

it's .xap downloaded from store! othe app files installed! only that make me wrong!

oh shhhhhh....t!!! you right! installing .xap by sdk there is this problem! so any idea to install that player on my Lumia 920? why cant find it on store!??!
It's probably region-restricted. If you change your phone's region to wherever it is published (temporarily), and possibly then restart before checking, you should see the app available in the store.
You can use Germany, it's available here. Or most likely US, most apps that are restrict are restricted to the US.

When I use the Theme's app it prompts me to install "Huawei Mobile Services" but it seems this is unavailable in my region (Canada). This was happening on EMUI 8 and persists on EMUI 9.
If I search the Play Store, Huawei Mobile Services is also not found.
Am I out of luck for using Theme's or is there a way to get this?

Just figured it out. You need to install AppGallery then you can update the mobile services.

I get this error as well. i went to the playstore to look for "AppGallery" but nothing comes up with that name?.. Canada Koodo

I'm not allowed to post links but google Huawei AppGallery, it's their own store that you need to sideload.
I should also mention, AppGallery doesn't have an option for Canada so I selected UK to set it up.
Theme's has a new issue now though, tapping Download does nothing. I do see other reviews in AppGallery that say they have the same issue in Themes so perhaps that's a bug they need to resolve.

Thanks for your help, i managed to download and install it, but like you say. it does not have Canada as an option. so i used UK like you. and I can't download anything either. so..lol we wait i guess

I've been using smart capture during screenshots for years. All of the sudden the option wasn't there during a screenshot the other day. I've done all of the troubleshooting and the smart capture option in advanced features does not exist. I've uninstalled the updates, restarted my Galaxy Note 9, reinstalled the update, with no resolve.
Does anyone know how to get this feature back?
Clear system cache on the boot menu.
Try in safe mode to rule out a 3rd party app.

What OS version?
Did you Google "samsung smart capture missing" etc? Doesn't have to be the same model.
Is the app present? Clear data if so.

Scan this with online Virustotal. It should be ok.
It's also on the Samsung Galaxy store
It's not available on the Samsung store in the version. I can't uninstall the app either. Tried to download the file you directed me to and this came up.

Yes. If you ever don’t download from a trusted site, get a antivirus. But apkmirror is pretty trusted.
Once you download, click on the file to download the apk.
Has anyone been able to do this?
I don't mean just disabling the feed by turning discover off. There must be a way to remove the Google page which appears when swiping right on the home screen.
The only way I have found to do this is to disable the Google App.

(1) activate the Quick Glance APK, which will replace google on restart
(2) disable Quick Glance under 'more' on the home screen setting

Yes it's just an OPPO add in. Install it, restart the phone, then disable it and there will be no google screen when you swipe right.

For access to contacts, I already did on another try, as I was trying different combination.
For the Google play services, which new one you suggest? I already have version 23.24.14 which supposed to be the latest version.
