it's actually a software transforming from UAE to European version then getting the Marshmallow beta test version
Here is the link of the thread : http://tundevs.blogspot.com/p/huawei-p8-marshmallow.html
I hope I helped thoose with ALE-L21 B130 people who's diying to get marshmallow on their devices , cheers :highfive:
( Sorry for bad english )

the update will note erase your personal data , but if you would like to go back to your original firmware version ( downgrade ) then yea you will loose your personal data.
and you can go back to you original firmware all you have to do is to download it and flash it via fastboot mod
otherwise yea you can simply wait for the update to your region but i see it's gonna take a long long time lol
cheers

ROMS linked in the article are no longer available. Us B130 owners back to being shafted again with a phone that constantly locks up and is stuck on what appears to be old firmware. Won't be buying any of these POS phones again.

Hello, you Just have to downgrade to the build b052 and after install B170, b188 and the b524 beta MM build
The b524 require your device was on the B188. If you want links and help, see here

(NEW) Portugals about MARSHMALLOW firmware for P8 Lite

Here you can see some information about the new ROM Android 6.0 Marshmallow for P8 Lite http://androidgeek.pt/huawei-p8-lite-marshmallow
I think that the beta firmware will be released very soon :good:
I hope there's little left to wait :fingers-crossed:
This is good news. I hope this does not affect performance
What the hell? But here in Portugal we haven't even received 5.1.1.
That must mean the 5.1.1 is getting released soon soon soon.
I'm excited
Hmmm.. So in finland we "still" have 5.0.1
Let's see how long we have to wait for marshmallow
If u have branded phone u have to wait much much longer
Try to debrand (bootloader must be unlocked) and install 'clean' rom
In Poland we have 5.1.1 (no brand - unlocked bootloader) but still i have warranty (tested)
Today 5.1.1(B181) OTA update showed up for Vodafone branded P8 lites(Italy and Romania confirmed). My unbranded dual-sim phone didn't receive anything. It might be for single-sims only, for the time being.
I'm not that excited, though, phone works perfectly well with current fw(170). If it would enable the faux gyroscome, and even more importantly, the autofocus during video recording, that would be great.

Don't be too optimistic. This may take many months.
Maybe we will never see 5.1.1.
huawei Austria on twitter said marshmallow is in beta testing.

In italy beta testing program 5.1.1 latest is b009, no official release.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been confirmed for the Huawei P8 Lite. It is being beta-tested since December. We can also assume that the Huawei P8 Lite will get EMUI, which is awesome. Looking forward to it, I hope they don't **** it up! If we're lucky, it's going to be released to the public in February, atleast some sources mentioned February.

Thanks! Trying out right now!
UPDATE: Damn! "Software update failed!"
Will look into ways to manually update.
SECOND UPDATE: My device was hacked a few times before and maybe that's why the update initially failed.
I managed to manually install it.
It's working just fine! The notification panel and the shutdown window look really nice with the blur effect.
Most importantly, battery life is better than 4.4.2

P8 Lite Middle East & Africa Update

Hey there.
I have a Question.
I came from Germany and buy my P8 Lite on Amazon.
The Phone itself is absolut Powerfull and i like it.
But it is a Model for the Middle East & Africa.
Build Number isALE -L21C185B180 and has German Language in it´s Setup.
Updating to Marshmallow is not possible via OTA while it is not for the European Market.
Now i found the Middle East Update to ALE-21C185B525.
Is there anybody who can tell me that German Language is avaible in this Update?
Can someone tell me how to Upgrade this and warn me from Problems with the Manual Update?
Thanks a lot.

As far as I know, all versions have most languages, especially, let's say, strong languages like German.
But on XDA you can find many threads about how to change locale of device and update to any version you like, stock or custom, with or without root and with or without custom recovery. This is fine device and we have a few options.

I don´t have a changelog.
It is the Firmware that was on the Phone as it get´s delivert.
I do not update anything.
Can you tell me how to change to European Version or share a link to a tutorial.
Iam still not happy to buy a Phone in Germany and get one from Africa.
Yes, you just need to unlock bootloader first then flash the oeminfo EU zip then flash EU lolipop rom then you can upgrade to marshmallow too if you want
If you need help just tell me

No, this is not for the UL10 variant - latest is probably B398 for it.
For your model, use Huawei Firmware Finder to find & download.
Enter the correct model (GRA-UL10) & your phone's firmware region (Cxxx) in the app.
It's recommended to download & install the FULL version only (very large file) using the external sd/dload-dialler method.
Installed the firmware without any problems, however, it locked the bootloader my rooted B398. I will unlock the bootloader (or at least I hope so ) this weekend. For users who do not want to root their P8s it is a great firmware.
What's so great about it? I've flashed it but went back to B398 because I don't want a branded rom. And don't want a Vodafone app.
Also think that a non Branden rom will be updated sooner.

It is much snappier than B398, esp. if one uses the graphic card for 2D rendering (available in the options for programmers) like me. It is also less buggy than B398 (kowabunga! Notes work with flying colors!).
BTW, I reunlocked the bootloader and rooted my P8. It worked without any problem so I did in an a quarter or so. I upgraded Magisk from 12.0 to v.13.3 and Magisk Manager from 4.3.3 to 5.1.1. I am very surprised that the phone passes the SafetyNet check now, so the phone is both rooted and can use apps available for unrooted phones only like NFC payment app from my bank.
Hello people !
I have just one question about my Huawei P8 , becouse my phone was auto updated few weeks ago ( Google security update)
My build number is B397 and i have got Marshmallow 6.0 ( EMUI 4.0.3 now ) . . How to rollback to 4.0 EMUI ( i had that before )?
Please write steps
Thank you for answer,
