Bootloop in black variant with s004 firmware
Bro I flashed it in my black variant which had s004 firmware it boots but after that if we open camera then it will be showing initiating resources then it wont boot at all

I tried bro several times same problem camera autofocus doesn't work its usual in black variants if roms of white variant flashed in black variant

yes i have white variant but am running a black stock rom coz of headphone jack pblm in white ....but in blck camera cant connect error ....so should i try it as i have white variant.....

no bro still same problem even in white model i flashed it with s012 stock rom then tried it it starts and go in loop showing initializing resources...vibrate and again initializing resources nd vibrate process continues ...am rolling back on black stock rom again coz in blck rom headphone works atleast but i miss my camera very badly...

To install this Custom ROM I presuppose your device has an unlocked/patched bootloader and a Custom Recovery installed.

It's an automated updater script, means if you're coming from 5.4.1 you can just run the script and it installes the ROM and the Gapps for you.
Open the script with a text editor and you will find a few comment lines, which explain the usage. @wojtek267

Does this ROM have the same h/w acceleration and video issues and the other? Or does that all work in this one? I'm really looking for a strong ROM with video. Thanks in advanced.
I'm not very sure. Ardentis didn't tell me about a video bug on D415.
Can i update this over CM 12.1? If yes, do i reflash gapps too?
I think you can. Reflashing the gapps is important. If you are not sure perform a backup.
Does ADB work in this build? in cm12.1 it doesn't work over usb anymore
I haven't tried it yet.
Seems like dirty flashing over CM is not possible after all.. Anyway, gonna clean flash when a new version is out. Thanks for your work!

Keep in mind that this is a different ROM. So it's just luck if you can dirty flash from another ROM.

Perhaps because the bug has been plaguing us D415 users on every custom ROM and he didn't think of it? This bug has been around since KitKat. Basically some places (I'm not entirely sure which, but I know the Netflix and Facebook apps are among them) video playback is broken, and video recording doesn't work at all. Sometimes it acts like it's working but it never saves the video.

Oh, and silly question, does the install.zip download the files for you, or do you have to download them yourself to a specific location?
YouTube works fine but Netflix does not work right. I cant tell for anything else unfortunately. Video recording does not save anything.
i really love this ROM!!!!! ive had a few problems ...kinda minor....in the performance menu i set it to performance (i only have 3 to choose from Power Save, Performance, and Balanced) and about 3 minutes later it rebooted on its own...also i have a d415 with a quick button....is it assignable or is there a patch for it?

Use another kernel app, such as Aero Control or Kernel Toolkit.
I don't own a D415. This ROM was made for the D405 and only works on your device because of BigMajster's and Quarx's patches.

The rom bears all the same bugs as in my previous cm-12.1 stable rom:
YouTube videos quality is limited to 360p
FM Radio (which is a common bug in all cm-12.1 for mt65xx)
Bluetooth headset is working but buggy
RR’s pitch black theme in settings not working
(you can install pitch black themes from playstore as an alternative)

When the ROM finished booting. Please open the Camera App and set front camera video size to 720p (and optionally set storage to SD Card). If you don’t do, camera will force close if you try to record 1080p videos with front camera (which is quite fair because stock rom front camera is limited to 720p too). Make sure you also do so in all camera apps you may be using.

As a long term user of Resurrection remix, this is a greatly welcome idea. I actually did prefer 5.5.8 to 5.5.9 during the time I was using it last year but will definitely give it a try.
When it comes to customization, RR is the best - way better than pure cm.

I just remove couples of the apk that i dont need (browser calendar etc) as i use the Google's one

Use anyother camera app for now.
No problem. Its your choice of apps.
Change theme to any other one to change colors for now. These will be fixed in next version.

Try different browser or Google Drive App
Boss I've tried uc mini, uc browser, chrome redirects to Google drive which also is unable to download it. It downloads for a few seconds n dissappears from the notification bar. When i check the downloads tab its on queue for close to 30 mins even though am not downloading any other thing.

Its an issue with your internet. If they file expired ( files don't expire on gdrive) or was deleted you wouldn't get the the download button. Download from any other network

Here is the Resurrection Remix ROM for the Mi Max, built from Android 6.0.1_r72. This rom was originally ported by a Chinese developer on the Chinese Miui forums who abandoned the project. I decided to take on the project, took the ROM apart, fixed a bunch of bugs and removed any Chinese apps. Then nijel8 fixed the data bug and helped me get it to where it is now. The builds are unofficial builds. When asking for help or stating a bug please state your model (Helium or Hydrogen) or put your phone model in your signature so we know what model you have. It's hard to remember what model everyone has. Xposed will work on this rom.

Root access was working fine for me but I always flash SuperSU anyway because I like it better. I was going to integrate SuperSU into the rom but I figured I'd leave it closer to stock and let the user decide.

I have my Sim in Sim 2 and it's working fine.
If something isn't working I need a few of you with the same version of the phone to get together and confirm what isn't working and let me know and I'll do my best to fix it. In each post you make if you're having a problem, state your model of Mi Max or add it to your signature. It's hard to remember what model each one of you has. I only have a Helium version so I can test things out before I release them. The other models I do blindly.

I have the same model as you. 128GB Helium and also a 64GB Helium. One is using CM13 v2 and the other is using RR 5.7.0 because the modem flakes out on CM13 v3 or RR 5.7.1.
Does someone else have any problems with the GPS fix on Helium? It jumps between fix and no fix all the time.
No issues besides this.

@KillerDroid96 Great job on the build, I have zero issues. With every ROM including Official CM I usually have some issues. Cosmetically I'm able to make changes that I usually have to do with Xposed, so I thank you from bringing this ROM to us.
Since you have been having hosting issues, why not host on AFH? It'll automatically add mirrors for you too.

Thanks, also the reason I'm not using AFH is because you can't upload anything unless you are a developer. I requested developer status but they have not responded and have zero ETA. So it could take a week or a month I really don't know. The download link will be changed to that once its available.

I'm not really sure if it will work with no problems. I think if anything doesn't work it would be Wifi calling and the radios. I don't see any harm in trying it as long as you have tried other L720 Roms for your device. I don't want you to end up with a bricked phone. If you do decide to flash it make sure you do a complete nandroid backup and update to the latest TWRP recovery.

It's the same hardware except for the ability to connect to Spark, it'll work fine. Depending on who your carrier is you may need the MVNO Slayer zip, but it'll work

-When you press shut down on power menu, it reboot instead of shutdown
Temporary Solution : Use any shut down app on the Play store or install BusyBox and use any Terminal app.
Put this command one by one : su ( grants root ) > busybox poweroff -f

he's a dev for g531h, but he's also create this one for g530h, but idk if this one will be maintaned or not

Well, I tried installing two different ROMs I ended up getting Error 7
Great, so many thread of RR
First, there's a thread, then migrate by carlos arriaga by another thread, then migrate here by another one but this is great cause RR is one of my favorite rom haha
1 thing I don't like in RR is the ram management. There are times that the ROM is very lag
I found a bug, on ressurection configurations>buttons>hardware keys and I selected back button long press, I selected default settings, but it doesn't show up anoher options for default settngs
I found another bug
I can receive calls, but I coundnt hear anything, and also I cannot make calls
