TWRP RECOVERY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
* First Thing To Do... Do A Nandroid Backup!
* Download DARTHSTALKER S4 Rom.
* Place The Rom Into Your SD Card Or Internal Storage.
* Now Reboot Into TWRP Recovery.
* While In TWRP Recovery, Press "Wipe" And Then "Swipe To Factory Reset".
* Now Press "Back" And Then Press "Advanced Wipe".
* Now Select "Cache", "Dalvik Cache", And "System" And Then "Swipe To Wipe".
* Install Rom To Go Into The Rom's Aroma Installer.
* Choose The "Full Wipe" Method.
* Choose Any Of The Apps You Want.
* Now Install The Rom Until Its Finished.
* The Aroma Installer Will Then Reboot Your Device.
* Once Rebooted And In The Setup Wizard, DO NOT Touch For 5 Minutes!
* After 5 Minutes, Reboot The Phone... DONE!
* Now Go And Enjoy DARTHSTALKER S4!

Are You Having Browser "Download Unsuccesful", "Unable To Capture Screenshot", Or Internal Storage Issues? Then Read The Post Below!
This is one problem that has happened to me before and having these types of problems has to do with your Internal Storage being "write-protected" which means that your Internal Storage has been locked to protect the data that's in it so editing or deleting anything from your Internal Storage will not work and anything that you do on your device such as doing screenshots or downloading any type of file onto your device will cause a automatic failure since the main directory is set to the Internal Storage, not your External SD Card.
TO FIX IT...
Make sure you plug your device to a computer and once you do this, back up everything from your Internal Storage onto your Desktop PC/Laptop. Once you do that, now your going to have to delete your whole Internal Storage files using a root explorer such as ES File Explorer, Root Explorer, Or anything that works for you and make sure you have it enabled to r/w [Read/Write Mode]. Now head into the directory that your Internal Storage files are located and then delete every single folder in it. Once your done doing that, now connect your device back to your Desktop PC/Laptop and then add back all of your Internal Storage files that you have saved on your PC back into your device, Reboot your device, and now everything should be working!

There is no System update files in the rom i have removed them you will most likely get an FC because of it.

Gotcha! I only noticed because I was trying update the PRL to get 4g to work.

Nice ROM for sure. Only problems I have is no 4g, of course unable to update profile or prl to try and fix that way. The ##72786# dialer code also does not work, I am sure that it is uninstalled also. com.amsungsyncservices is also removed so unable to write a different prl. WiFi wouldn't turn on on clean install, no big deal here I turned off the call over wifi feature then reflashed KT kernel and wifi worked fine. I am going to add back in some of the removed stuff and see if I can get 4g to work. Thanks for the new ROM.

4G should be working. Maybe it could be the sprint's stock Phoneinfo.apk that it needs to get to its hidden dialer code and also samsungsyncservices is bloat you just have to install "Samsung Service" in the aroma for that.

I use the sync service to create a shortcut to write prl's on the fly I thought I selected it in Aroma but maybe I double touched the selection for that. Anyway I managed to add a bunch of stuff back in to get 4g working then just took it all back out and now I am up and running. Thanks again for the rom.

Updated APNs (4.4.3) - This will install the Nexus 5 APNs to the device (along with the CM APNs for eHRPD/LTE) and delete the telephony database. These APNs are built into the framework of the latest version.
Gray Background Fix (4.4.3) - This fixes the light gray background for the volume display, power menu & other dialog boxes that were discolored. This fix is built into the latest version.
Framework/Data Fix (4.4.2) - Fixes phone calls and mobile network settings on original ROM. This file will not work on the latest version, but this fix has been incorporated into the latest version.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Q: I just got an OTA update notification. Can/should I take it?
A: No! This ROM is a port - which means it is already modified just so it will work on our devices. Even if the OTA didn't fail because you have a custom recovery (which it will), it wouldn't boot as-is anyway. Wait until the ROM base is updated into a flashable format by the ROM maintainer, and then flash it - that's the only way to have the latest software. What you CAN do which would be very helpful is to capture a copy of the OTA zip. This file is typically named "update.zip" and usually downloads to /cache or /sdcard/Download. Then the ROM maintainer can use that file to update the base.
Q: How do I update profile/PRL on this ROM?
A: Profile and PRL can only be updated on a Sense ROM. Since GPE is a port from GSM, it doesn't include these features. The easiest way to update Profile/PRL is to nandroid your current setup, restore a Sense nandroid (or flash a stock rooted Sense ROM), update those items, and then restore your GPE nandroid. MultiROM is also an option.
Q: I can't find Developer options. Where are they?
A: Google has them hidden by default. To activate them, navigate to Settings -> About phone, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Build number" seven times.
Q: I toggled Mobile Network in the Quick Settings and now I have no data connection. How to fix?
A: First of all, there is no Mobile Network toggle in the ROM by default - if you have one, it means you're using GravityBox (GB). If you're going to use the toggle from GravityBox, you have to set it to "Use CDMA network modes" in the GB settings (Statusbar Tweaks -> QuickSettings management -> Tile specific settings -> Network mode tile settings). If you toggle it before you change that setting, you will end up on a GSM Network mode, and thus have no data connection. To get back to a working connection, follow the instructions at the bottom of this post. This post also has some additional information for a fully working GravityBox toggle.
4.4.x-specific questions:
Q: I tried switching to ART in Developer options, but when it rebooted, it was set back to Dalvik. How do I get ART to stick?
A: Disable the Xposed framework. Xposed is currently incompatible with ART. More information here.
Q: Can I use a custom kernel with this ROM?
A None of the existing custom GPE M8 kernels will work as-is. However, I was able to modify flar2's ElementalX GPE test kernel build for 4.4.3 to work on this ROM. It can be downloaded here. That is currently the only custom kernel that will work with this ROM.

It's definitely not a daily driver for that reason alone... I was able to get wish washy data by pulling down status bar and toggling data on and off, it is like idle time is this Roms worst enemy, you get roughly 30seconds to do something with data or you lose it, once data problems are resolved, I believe that this ROM will become a daily driver for many people, at least those that don't want HTC SENSE on their phones and not going all the way to Cyanogenmod/AOSP/AOKP ROMS...

i guess i can fix the data/mms problem... the (apns-conf.xml) that you have dont have sprint APN on it and im not sure if the Framework.apk is missing that data ill try to fix it tonight by the way Thank you for port this ROM you did the BIG part good job :good:

This project started off as a simple 4.3 Google play edition ROM and grew into so much more, since 4.3 we have been on top of every major update thrown our way from Google, although its not always pretty, below is a list of improvements/fixes we made to Stock 5.0 GPE and why we feel this GPE is the right choice to be your daily driver.
Installation instructions
Make sure you are using the latest modem and recovery for your variant, TWRP preferred

2) Flash ROM

Xposed is not supported by the developers. Please uninstall it FULLY before making any bug reports. Any logcat that includes an xposed module will be ignored. Great news!!!! this rom is the best!!!
Been running this since the 12/17 build. Fast and great battery life!
First I install Nova launcher.
I use system tuner to delete stock launcher, turn off Google now.
That's my basic setup getting great battery life and performance.
I attached my Black Theme for Nova Launcher.

No need to flash Gapps huh....bout to try it out

How do you enable dark contacts and dialer?

This is the proper framework-res.apk fix so the Sprint carrier label shows correctly.
Also here is a modified build.prop for Sprint devices so the device model show up correctly among other things. However, It has the OTA stuff removed that Dan put in. I was planning on building my own variant of the ROM until this showed up
With that said don't replace you build.prop with this one.

Anyways running the new build and it is perfect no RR or lags. Haven't tested Bluetooth but this is a sweet ROM guys. Sprint users should really appreciate this ROM :thumbup: since we don't get much love anymore.

HEYOOOO! just downloaded GPS Toolbox which works fine. GPS on all other apps work flawlessly now. Guess it just needed a nudge. Thanks a bunch!

1) Install FlashFire if you don't already have it
2) Hit the "+" button and select Wipe (Select System Data, 3rd Party Apps, Dalvik and Cache)

Reading the OP it looks like he cleaned all of the Verizon stuff out of it - he says BOOTLOADER and MODEM are not included - sounds to me like he fully intended for anyone with a G935F to be able to flash this - NOw I may be completely wrong, but that is my interpretation of this - and if so, it is perfectly fine that he post the rom in this thread.

About facebook. ROM have facebook and Messenger installers- it is easiest and shorter way to get correct working x86 version, no need install incorrect ARM versions from GP. If you already install incorrect version then remove facebook updates Settings-apps-facebook-three dots. Then go to app menu launcher and open "f" Facebook icon/Messenger icon- you see facebook or Messenger installer, agree to update. profit, you get correct x86 version. Never try to flash this ROM on Android 5.0 or oficial CM13 with Lolipop bootloader. You get bootloop
Asus Mobile Manager removed but you can install it and will work since 2017/11/16. And remember, that for android no need deny autostart, no need close process. Also Asus Mobile Manager have unless functions. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USE THIS APP and do not trust sweet words about clear and increase. This app is simple extra processes in your system which drain battery yourself and hinders android work
If you have stock/stock based Marshmallow ROM in this time, you may flash my ROM WITHOUT wipe data

c) Added 640 MHz GPU frequency
10. Minimal level for auto brighness is 6 instead 15, minimal level of manual brightness is 2 instead 15

The NTFS format now works for both read and write (SELinux Permissive is required, as before). No, kernel prerooted. It have patched sepolicy, init.supersu.rc etc inside boot.img but if you have not installed SuperSU and su binary you can not get root access. need flash SuperSU 2.79SR3 from my link and then install xposed from my link too

YEs, my 31/01 is "pure" kernel therefore you can install magisk, but if install it in my rom you lose part of functions. ..
I don't see why need magisk. I have root and Xposed 86.6 from link from first post which no need magisk and all working fine. I hear that magisk need for Pokemon? But I not like this stupid game,sorry

Can we disable SIM 2 and SIM 1 on the settings? I'm sorry, I forgot how marshmallow is.
