Android N Preview Boot Animation - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Themes and Apps

Here it is, taken straight from the Nexus 6P image. Don't get too excited though. I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same as the marshmallow boot animation.

Flash with TWRP.

Never know, it could change as it gets closer to final release.

Download this, rename it to bootanimation.zip, copy and paste to /system/media, set permissions to rw-r--r--. I might make a flashable version later if I remember.

Why would it be the same as the Marshmallow boot animation? It's a different version of Android!
Marshmallow animation was different from Lollipop. And "N"-whatever will be different from Marshmallow.
Do you mean they haven't had time to create a different one yet?
I still prefer the Lollipop animation, by the way to the Marshmallow one. Artistically, I just like it better.

I'm not sure why they decided not to change it, or if they will in the future, but it looks nearly identical to the second gif that you posted. The only difference is that it briefly says Google before going in to the pattern. I know it's the correct boot animation because I pulled it from the N image myself.
And yeah, the lollipop one is definitely better.

[Q][HELP!]Bootanimation

I've tried to make my own boot animation, but I really can't get it to work.
My desc.txt is fine as far as i can tell, i've tried everything i've read on how to fix it. I just get a black screen when booting.
I was hoping maybe someone here could take a look at it and see what I did wrong?

1st, you have to pack in in the zip in store mode, uncompressed.
2nd, you're desc file was incorrect.
The first 2 numbers are the resolution, yours were way off.
Fixed version attached.

I had tried it with 480 and 320, but it didn't work either. The values I had in the desc.txt attached were taken from another bootanimation to see if it would work.
But either way, thanks guys!

Try it if you like it.
I created it for my HTC Touch Diamond and it looks quite nice,
Even though it's not even a Google phone, lol.
The resolution is 480x640. Hope it works on your phone
You can download it HERE
Would this work for a Droid X?? and also do i install this like a Rom threw clockwork?

nope. you should be able to push it to /data/local/ but your droid x resolution is too great for this animation. you should upscale it to fit your HDPI screen.

Actually it should work, because in this animation only width is important. And it is 480 pixels, the same as Droid X.
So feel free to try it!
And by the way, android boot animation should resize itself if the screen resolution is too big or too small. For example i have used animation that is 261x348 and it fully fitted on myscreen (480x680) even the quality was good.
So this animation should work on any kind of device with android 2.1 or higher
any chance of making the google letters just white? i want this one so bad for my og evo...
reupload the boot animation please
Hi,
Can you kindly re-upload the boot animation, of can you send me the boot animation via email...I tried your link but the animation is not longer available for download..Thanks in advance.

[Boot Animation] Android eating Apples, with preview

Another one I posted in the Vibrant forum a while back, but wanted to point out to all of you. It is 480x800 (despite the difference in preview sizes), and it flashes and works fine on GalS phones as well as some others we've tried. Please post problems if you have any. I hope to have some other sizes of this and the other one I posted a while back, as well as a shutdown animation soon.

haha very nice my friend
Having problems getting this boot animation to work.
My Vibrant is rooted, using Root Explorer, removed T-Mobile boot/shutdown animations and sounds.
I renamed the zip to Bootanimation.zip and moved it to my /system/media folder. Am i supposed to unzip before or no? When I start up my phone it goes to the Galaxy S animation then loads into home screen.
nice work. I will give this a try.

This question got answered in the Vibrant thread, but I thought I'd answer it here as well. There is no need to rename the file and push it to the phone. Instead, just flash through cwm and it should be OK.
flashed it and my boot animation is just a blank black screen, then i pushed and still black screen
Nexus s
Awesome boot animation love it.

[BOOTANIMATION][WIP] Portal Droid

Seen there are few portal boot animations but they seemed to be just shots from the game videos. I decided to give my own take on Portal Droid. First Boot Animation and I intend to touch it up and give it a bit of polish but for the moment I like it.
I made it for my Nexus S so its 480x800 but you can just modify the desc.txt file inside the .zip to your screen size however I don't know how it will work out and as usual apply at your own risk! But seriously if it isn't going to work it just won't run and your phone will boot with no animation.
It loops when the droid is in the infinite fall.
