Need a motherboard for moto g2 xt 1068 - G 2014 Accessories

hiiii guys..
Where i can purchase motherboard in cheapest rate.
what is tha cost of motherboard tell me please.
I am from Haryana, India.

Well in Bangalore, There's a dealer who does sell Moto G, G2, E,E2 compatible motherboards.
He says it works but I do not trust him (lol). And I don't think he ships to other places.
You can go to a nearby customer care centre but I doubt they'll even help you (they didn't help me with basic part replacement for my old moto e).
Plus its rare for any non company outlet to sell logic boards and even if they do it wouldn't work as well as the old one. I don't exactly know where you get a original logic board (in India).
But I've heard people paying 2500-7000 bucks(dont know from where they got it) and still not getting proper results.
So it'd be better to just buy a new phone.

How is it bricked?
Is it a soft brick?

[Q] Anyone have a non working Telus Milestone?

I have a Motorola Telus Milestone that I am using on AT&T in the USA. I believe the motherboard may have died on my phone and am looking to see about getting a replacement motherboard specific to Telus/AT&T if anyone has one they are looking to sell let me know. Thank you
Sir,
I'm not sure about you can find a new motherboard, it may cost similar prices with phone.
I have bought a rarely used Motorola Milestone for $300 on Ebay, I liked it too much but I have problem with the keyboard slider, it's no holding tight, shaking sometimes,
Do you think the sell the phone as parts ?
If yes, how much do you want for both keyboard slider mechanism and camera button (if it's still in golden color, mine came in white color :S )
According to the Motorola Canada website my phone is still covered under warranty for another 2 months. However it obviously does not mean that it will be repaired/replaced. I am still waiting to hear from Motorola if I should send my phone in or not. However if things do not go the way I am hoping. I would sell the device as is for parts only. I will leave a comment on this thread depending on either way whatever I hear from Motorola.
If I do end up selling the device it will be as a whole unit, not broken down. There is a website I found that has parts for the a lot of phones. Here it is:
http://www.globaldirectparts.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=milestone
I may buy whole unit if I can effort the price, please just let me know about it.
Thanks for the link, jgregoryj1
Edit : Do you know any website like that but selling single unit, too ?

Need help with moto X screen issue

Greetings form Greece,
Need your help
After several weeks of waiting my moto X came today form US. Was so happy to have such a unique custom device!!
Once i got it from my US based friend I entred my local carrier shop to get a nano-sim, opened the box and inserted the sim to get moto X woriking.
Seconds after I left the shop the phone accidentaly fell to the pavement. I saw two small dents in the side corners and got really sad I did this to my new device.
However soon i realized that the problem was much bigger. My screen went totaly black!
There is no sign of damage or anything, just a small dent in the plastic bezel.
I am sure the phone is working, I hear sounds of booting and shutting down and I feel vibrations from the the digitizer touch.
The screen shows only some green pixels on the botom right corner.
I am really sad
Do i need a new screen or it is smth with a cable connection?
Is it reasonable for the device to be ruined form a 2 feet drop?
I am will not find any spare parts in Greece/Europe. Shall I send to my local Motorola service repair to check?
Any other memeber with similar issues.?
Please help!
go to motorola tech service, is the only solution, you need a new screen, or a new phone
Well, I feel bad for you, but you need to change either the screen or the entire phone.
Sent from my XT1058 using xda app-developers app
I dropped my moto twice and screen is fine
I went today to the Greek local moto repair center,
First time they saw such device, they thought it is moto G.
Awaiting a call if it is a full LCD or a cable maybe. they have no idea if Motorola will provide parts.
If it is a full LCD, how easy is for me to find the part?
I have seen some lcd parts quoting around $250, (nearly the price of the device).
It is a lovely phone, in case i don't find a solution in my country shalll i try to send it to US for repair?
is anybody willing to order and send me overseas a new?
local moto cannot do anything due to lack of spare parts.
any ideas where to get an or original screen?

[Q] HTC One Charging Port Damaged

Hi Guys
So I bought an HTC one, international version two months back from eBay India. (It has no warranty)
Recently, the charging port on the device has malfunctioned. HTC won't replace it for obvious reasons
and my seller has no hardware warranty. Is there a way in which I can get it repaired/replaced.
All suggestions are welcome (Even do-it-yourself ones).
Thanks

Im sure there are many hardware repair stores in India. Locate one nd give it fr repair. However, im sure that it will b quite expensive nd may require a motherboard replacement.

That actually depends on how bad the problem actually is. If the full motherboard needs to be replaced, then it will cost u much more than 5000 INR. So i wud suggest that u show it to a repair shop nd ask the quotation before actually asking them to do it.
However, im baffled as to why HTC wont do it themselves. If there's no warranty, it won't be done fr free. But i live in Dubai nd here HTC outsources their hardware services to another company, who does all kinds of repairs.
Keep this in mind, HTC has listed quite a few service centres in Delhi on their website
http://www.htc.com/in/support/service-center.html
Check wat they have to say. Ive got many devices repaired by these local hardware technicians in Mumbai. I dont think IT support is any worse in New Delhi

Actually, i did go the HTc center, they said there was a problem with the micro USB alone, but as this was an international version, they didnt have the parts for it.

Ur only other option would be to go to a local hardware technician.

Moto G2 xt 1068 is Hard Bricked

Unfortunately Motorola has not released the files "flash blank" for Moto G (2nd gen) to recover the bootloader.
There is nothing you can do today. It is a weight paper.

Good afternoon,
Friend you already managed to recover the g2 bike with this tool?
Why did you do that?!? It's probably the ONLY way to hard brick this phone.
I'll cut out all the bull**** for you: you only have one realistic option right now, and that is to load up Amazon and just order yourself a new phone. The higher end Moto G5 plus is a fair successor for around $/€250. You may sell your Moto G2 on eBay as non-functioning if you want to, even for a minimal price. $20 can mean the difference between the 2GB/16GB and 4GB/32GB configuration. And the RAM boost alone makes your next phone a hell of a lot more future - proof. Surely, more future - proof than this one. Besides, there is really no reason to keep what you have now turned into an expensive paperweight around (unless you actually need a paperweight); and, since it's quite a popular phone, you might find someone who will be willing to buy a hard bricked unit cheap for parts.
Yes, there are other things you can do such as sending it to some stranger to JTAG and *maybe* see it again after months, or order a new motherboard and pretend you'll manage to install it without messing everything else up, but these are all far from viable and likely a waste of time and money. (At this point of this phone's lifetime, saving up for an upgrade makes more sense than investing in any repair of any kind)

I tried to use this tool but it did not work due to lack of file.

2gb ram instead of 3gb

Just noticed my phone has 2gb of ram, not 3gb
Anyone know why that is?
Before anyone brings up it might be a clone, its an original lg g4 T-Mobile h811
Where did you buy it? I was considering getting one from ebay...says it's bnib...I wanted to upgrade from my lg g stylo :/
What is bnib?

Mine is not purchase from eBay
If it is brand new in box you should be good? I'd message reseller and ask just in case and ask him if it is sealed and specifications are all the same
Where is it coming from?
The only problem I see is you open the box, and find out it is a clone.
You could always put a claim return to it. Reseller might argue it was sealed but your point is valid
If it is coming from China I wouldn't bother
Bought a lg g2 once. Seller did not claim it was bnib. When I got it you could see the extra glue that screen was replaced
Try local
Nope it's coming from new york not china luckily...idk though now I've been reading about this boot loop problem the g4 has...I'm wondering if I should just stick with what I have...I use my phone everyday for work and really don't want to risk an issue...not sure what to do really :/

Ask him for first few numbers of the serial number
Post back
A lot of the issues are with the 505 phones. Some have never had a problem even then
If it is a 505 you are taking a risk
Ideally you want 7 series number if you are taking it with no warranty
First 3 numbers year month
505 is 2015 may
708 would be 2017 august
I know no one is going to be selling there phone with a serial number listed..... But atleast you know your getting a 7 you are getting the newer motherboards
No one has exact info on which are known to bootloop. You might get lucky with a 505, or you might end up pissed off
The newer the motherboard/serial number less risk
