This slippery & fingerprint magnet Edge needs some help! - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Accessories

New Dbrand skins put on my S7 Edge as it is too slippery and has too many logo's on the back. Also next time you get the chance, turn over your phone and look closely under bright light below the Carrier Logo & S7 Edge Logo and you'll see faint fine printing "don't throw this is the trash" and garbage can graphic, kinda like what you see when you took the past phones back cover off. Don't believe me? ....check it out yourself. To me the carrier & brand logos AND that fine printing cheapens the phone. Looks good from the distance, but cheap up close. really bugged me, besides it is so slippery when holding it...so I fixed it with a Dbrand skin

All things PURPLE

Hi william, congratulations on making your 800$ uber sexy phone look like a chinese 2nd hand knock off phone so fast.

@ Semseddin Wow! Thanks for the nice compliment. LOL
Next time you get the chance, turn over your phone and look closely under bright light below the Carrier Logo & S7 Edge Logo and you'll see faint fine printing about three lines and a small garbage can with a circle & X going through it, kinda like what you see when you took the past phones back cover off. Don't believe me? ....check it out yourself. To me the carrier & brand logos AND that fine printing cheapens the phone. Looks good from the distance, but cheap up close. really bugged me, besides it is so slippery when holding it...so I fixed it. I like it, so that is what matters.
However I might take off the carbon fiber on the front... not sure yet.
Anyways, thanks for being so brutally honest.

You can barely see the fine writing... I think that looks better than covering the back.
But whatever, each to their own!

Nah... that bugged me too much as I kept seeing it in bright lights... cheapened it too much, besides it is way too slippery too.

Why do you continually stare at the back of the phone? I would rather stare at the screen, personally and not get OCD about something that is barely visible except under the most extreme lighting circumstances.

Because it's there and it bugs me and I do see it from time to time. Besides it is very slippery to hold and a big time fingerprint magnet. It's like my Vette, I can't stand dirt or fingerprints on it. So I gave you three good reason. You must be an average joe user if any of those don't bother you

Unfortunately, all the writing and the "don't throw this is the trash" graphic is an EU requirement. I wish they left it off the US phones, but it's a lot easier to just make one part than two.
As for being slippery and a fingerprint magnet, I have to agree. But the silver titanium is so sexy I can't bear to cover it up with a skin. I'm using a clear, thin case.

Ghost Armor has a matte front and back film screen protector. That might make it less of a fingerprint magnet...

Here is what I'm talking about... UGLY!!! and slippery. I'll leave the front as it is, take off the carbon fiber, (after all, that is what you see & use the most) but the back I like much better with the purple skin and it has a nice grip now.
This looks much better, doesn't add bulk and keeps the Edge regular shape as it is a skin, plus it is not slippery as it is real slippery with the stock housing. The front I left alone as it looks great.

Leaving the front of S7 Edge as it is...
Some of you slammed my skins I put on my S7 Edge... sorry, but I like it very much and so did a couple managers too. One was at Verizon store and another was at Best Buy, however I did take off the carbon fiber on the front and left it as it is, but was thinking of putting a Zagg's HD screen protector on it. However, I think I'll hold off and getting a screen protector for now as I was at Best Buy today looking at the Zaggs HD screen protector and the sales manager who was impressed with my purple skin. He even took a picture of me with the purple phone in hand with my purple gear S smartwatch. He said I don't need a screen protector... (made me promise not to tell anyone at the store as he is suppose to sell, not talk out of...) promptly took out his Note 5, grabbed his car keys and proceeded to scrape hard all over his screen and tap on it hard... no scratches at all, asked if I wanted to try it on his phone. I said I believed him LOL I was impressed! Anyways, I ask him why he did that and he said my phone looked too nice to put anything else on it. So, I thanked him and went on my way, didn't buy the screen protector. Saved me $25 plus $10 installation.

I updated a pic in post #10 one of the three reasons I went with a skin on the rear, too many logos & fine prints on rear.
The other two reasons for the skin was it is too slippery and all the phones now are either black/sliver/gold/white.
I happen to like red & purple. Samsung use to have some great looking maroon red phones:

Ok, glad you are happy with the result. I still don't like it, but it is your phone.

Best Screen Protector for HD2: Vikuiti (TM) DQC-160

Okay, I am going to be super honest here.
I've tried several screen protector for my HD2 since I gotten it. Possibly 7 total different ones now. Bought from ebay, HTC official, etc. They are all crap!
Today has been the day that I am settling for the best screen protector I've found - and would HIGHLY (with 100%) recommend this screen protector to anyone in a heart beat.
The Vikuiti (TM) DQC-160
http://www.protectionfilms24.com/article/vikuiti-dqc-160-screen-protector-htc-hd2-28087.html
I am from the US, I bought the protector on Sunday and I received them in the mail today, Thursday. Super fast shipping overseas!
1) Very easy to apply. Easy clean up!
2) No need to apply after a hot steamy bath. It really resists dusts during application.
3) Highly cut to precision! I love this! It also cover the entire glass in front! Even the bottom glass under the buttons!
4) The feel of it is just amazing! It feels like its not even there! I feels like I am touching glass! No friction whatsoever. *Note that I am not exaggerating here.
5) Very transparent. I can not tell its even on. And my Front sensors are not affected by this protector in any way.
I am posting pictures. See below. Ask questions away.

thank you for sharing this information.
Maybe you could briefly outline what the advantages of a screen protector for a hd2 are. I'm not too familiar with the device yet, but i thought the display is glass. I saw videos where people tried to scratch the surface with keys and knifes but didn't succeed.
Thank you!
I'll help... just google for capacitive screen and notice, that top coat is not glass. it can be scratched, just not as easy as resistive one.
Martin Fields... awesome...
wow it looks good...
it even has that part that protects the part under the buttons unlike mine...
nice keyboard.
I should be receiving mine today!
I originally ordered some cheaper ones, which are awful! It's like you have to apply them in an air tight room, and the edges never stay stuck.
I heard good things about the mentioned protector so I ordered one.
Thanks for posting the photos and positive review!
Ordered mine as well.
Hope no dust or loose edges this time.
Thanks for the tip.
Definitely will order this, thanks
Installing ?
Hi,
I'm having some trouble installing - any hints ?
I agree though - The Vikuiti (TM) DQC-160 is by far the best screenprotecor.
Mvh Morten
Fit on flush screen?
lemonspeakers- Just wanted to know how the DQC-160 fits on the flush screen of the HD2? I was a little concerned that the 160 was a "ridgid" type of SP and thus a little thicker. I just installed a protectionfilms24 SP on my Canon A590 and was worried it may be to high for the HD2 flush screen. I will be getting my HD2 from TMobile US March 24th. Thanks
Greaaaaaaaat, thank you very much for sharing! I have been looking for a good protector for very long, but there are so much different opinions about it, but this sounds really great!
Although I have one question, it covers the " sensor " next to the " speaker " of the phone (you know when you talk with somebody and I mean the speaker of which you hear the person talking to you), and I have read somewhere on this forum, it shouldn't do that!
Could anybody confirm/disconfirm this?

Read my first post. This SP is highly transparent but smooth as glass. It won't interfere with the proximity and lighting sensors. Already tested under different conditions. It works as if it was never there.
I also forgot to mention, the SP is a little thick. That just goes to show that this is not some cheap material they are using- mind you.

Again, read first post. This was highly cut to precision. The only hard part I had was getting the bottom and sides to line up perfectly (I am a bit anal) because its highly precised cut. *You don't want your screen protector running off the side of your device now do you?
i just ordered mine not too long ago, for the North Americans like me its around $12.00 USD.
so as of now im just patiently waiting for the screen protector to come in. i will try to post up a video on youtube regarding said protector, most likely it will be posted in this thread after i made the video. till then.. Adios!!
Got mine today. Soooo much better than the cheap ones you buy on eBay
I have a doubt: can you take it off, wash it an put it back on again, or is it a one time application?
Thanks
I have the opportunity to get this for "free."
How is it WRT:
1. Fingerprints and skin oil smudges
2. Sunlight and glare
If it came with a rear camera protector as well, like my Martin Fields kit for the n95, I would buy it.
For now, I'll stick with the screen protector that came with my maximum protection invisible shield.

I agree, it can give you lots and lots of fingerprint oil. much more than the glass alone.
Are there any FULLLLLL screen protector that solves this issue?

Yes you can reapply. I've done it and it works. Just make sure to air dry it b4 you put it back on.
I would h ave to agree with you. I got the invisible shield thinking it was the best possible product and in ways it is great. It does not seem as if the edges will start to come up and I think it provides preimum protection but it does ruin the feel of the device plus I had a terrible time applying it since it was my first time using this product on a device. Once it tried I have some horrible streaks underneath and I am afraid to pull it up and try again. So I might give this one a shot.

[Review] Bodyguardz Anti-glare/Anti-fingerprint ScreenGuardz

PRODUCT LINK
Hello everyone! I bring to you a review of this screen protector. if there's anything I didn't cover or if you have any questions please post them here, and I will get to them ad soon as possible.
So let's talk about what this protector is being advertised as. They said it will reduce the amount of fingerprints and smudging on the screen, as well as reduce the glare on the screen. The latter should make it a bit easier when you're outside or when you're in a room with a lot of lighting, such as s lecture hall.
Installation:
The package only included one screen protector and it is a dry install. When installing, you peel off a little bit of the adhesive protector and peel as you go. This might be good or bad news for someone looking at this, I myself preferred wet install. However when installing the protector, I was surprised to find that it was very forgiving. I had to pull off the protector 5-6 times when doing so because it wasn't fully aligned and adjust it. Finally, I was able to put it on and air bubbles were almost nonexistent. Looking closely, I see a few air bubbles but bodyguardz say they should resolve themselves. But even if they don't, it doesn't bother me.

Look and feel:
No noticeable change in sensitivity since I've put it on. The screens swipe and the tablet registers a touch with the same amount of pressure with the protector as without. I'm typing this review on the tablet using thumb keyboard and everything is comfortable! One thing to take note of is when you’re swiping, as when scrolling on a webpage, your finger may not move as smoothly and buttery as before.
Since the protector is matte, it sort of lends an amazon kindle type look to the screen. It has a very nice look to it.
I have noticed that after putting it on the screen brightness is a bit reduced. However, the difference isn't uncomfortable, and after a while you won't even notice the difference.
Anti-glare:
Now, this is an important quality that, to me, would have made or broken this product. Short answer: it works and it works well!
Now, the long answer: compared to before having the screen protector, the screen quality is certainly better. When using the tablet in my room, or lecture hall the recessed lighting or fluorescent lights would often get reflected off the screen. With the screen protector on, the lighting gets diffused and scattered and they just look like bright spots on the screen. Furthermore, reflections on the tablet of the surroundings are barely noticeable, so there is definitely improvement.
Also, the screen protector makes it possible to use the tablet out on a sunny day. You won't get the kindle like e-ink effect, but it certainly improves the usability outside.
Note about the following pictures: I don’t have another Nexus 7 to do a side by side comparison. Some of the pictures are old pictures that I had taken at the beginning of this week. I did my best to take the pictures in the exact lighting situation with the screen protector on. It’s not exact; however it will give you an idea on how the protector performs.
Also, I’ve used an HTC Desire to do a side by side comparison. The HTC Desire uses Corning Gorilla Glass (N7 just uses Corning Glass) so reflective property should be similar to each other. I set the Desire to its max brightness, however, you still don’t get a common denominator but you at least get something to compare it to.
Pictures of Tablet without screen protector in sunlight from the beginning of this week
This is a picture of the tablet from this morning before I put the protector on. Idk how I got THAT much smudge and fingerprints on. I think I might have just rubbed my finger on the screen before taking the picture
Here are two pictures AFTER the screen protector is applied
I tried running my finger up and down on the screen to see how much smudge/fingerprints it would get on:
Here are some comparison pictures from outside, next to the HTC Desire
Angled towards the sun
Angled away from the sun (The sun is still overhead)
HTC Desire, angled towards and away
UPDATED PICTURES
First off, I apologize. My and a group of friends who I hadn't seen in a while were meeting up for some dinner and I asked one of them who owns a N7 to bring his. As such, these pictures were taken at the restaurant and some outside. The following pictures were taken pretty shoddily with my phone's camera. Both tablets weren't in the EXACT setting to allow for a 100% accurate comparison, however, you can still get some sort of an idea.
In the picture below, the LEFT N7 has the screenguardz on it, the one on the right is stock
In the following two pictures, the RIGHT N7 has the screenguardz on it, the one on the left is stock
Conclusion:
Would I recommend? Absolutely!
Other Info:
1- If you do buy this product, I'd suggest you buy it from Bodyguardz themselves. Reason being is that they give you replacements at significantly lower prices. It comes in handy when you have to send your tab in for warranty or if the screen protector itself gets damaged, you have a replacement ready. Another advantage of this is that all future purchases are discounted by 20% (and you can still add in a coupon code for further discounts).

Not at all! Screen quality is still excellent. The only thing that I've noticed, although its very minuscule, is that total brightness is just a tad bit down. As in the screen is a bit dimmer. Regardless, its still comfortable to read and do whatever you do with it.

LOL. I was at first taking these pictures with camera from my phone, and then I realized it wasn't doing this product any justice. So I busted out the DSLR.
It's a shame they don't make the UltraTough one for the Nexus 7. I prefer that one over the HD antiglare.
awesome review. Thank you. I can see in IMG_6006.jpg your screen appears to be suffering from the raised glass issue on the left side? or is that just camera angle.

No, the ridge that you see is actually that of the screen protector. Also, I was using a macro lens when taking these shots (in order to show how the screen protector was placed) and this particular lens has the tendency of "bending" things.
Wow. Excellently written review. I wasn't even interested in a protector at all but was just browsing the N7 accessories and your review managed to convince me that i need one. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

It's been a few days since I've been using this screen protector, and I have to say, I'm still loving it. I had to drive today and I was using the GPS on the N7. The Ant-Glare screen protector kept the morning sun off of it and I was actually able to see, whereas before, I'd just be looking at my face, lol.

Take a look at the 11th picture. I didn't give it a section of its own but after smudging my finger against the screen and just running it back and forth, it didn't pick up any fingerprint. Fast forward until today, the screen looks more or less the same. If you angle the device correctly, you can definitely see some smudges, but its not noticeable (with screen off). With screen on, even at its.dimmest, its not noticeable even if you look for it.
It's held by some static cling action right?
No, its a sticky.
Well I have been using my n7 naked but now I think I need to buy one of these

Anyone else got this? Does it really make the screen that dark? Wouldn't that result in worst battery life? Just curious before I buy one. Especially the price.

I have one. I think the darkness is just a camera settings thing, not light output reduction from the screen cover.I agree with most of the OP's comments; no loss in sensitivity, good fingerprint reduction, nice smooth feel, etc. However for me personally, I don't like the matte effect. Its almost like a bit of a haze over the screen. Its odd the manufacturer calls it HD. I've used BodyGuardz wet apply glossy films on other devices and prefer those films over this matte one. As soon as there's a glossy one made, I'll probably replace mine.
Lastly, BodyGuardz shipping time is a bit slow.

Thanks so much for reply. I had put my order in yesterday but hasn't shipped yet so I'd agree. This haze effect is it a bad thing? What is the purpose. I'm new to matte and not sure exactly what it is either. I usually get clear but this review spoke to me lol. And the device looks good when the screen is off from the picture.
I had got the am film screen protector but kept getting bubles. Order another batch and they came two days later with some crush in it. So I gave up on that brand then i came across this one.
Do you see grain of any sort when the screen brightness is up?

Transform nexus 7 into white tablet. Looks very nice!

Hi guys, I bought a decal skin sticker for my nexus 7 a few days ago from Stickerboy, and installed it. At first, it looked kind of weird but I think it's because I was so used to the black nexus 7. Now after a few days, it looks really nice. It feels like the tablet actually came in white.
You should also get the extreme version because that one will cover the back entirely, so it looks nice. I didn't get the centre screen protector. Not only it costs much more after that, I didn't know how it would work, like if it's a separate centre protector or if it's connected to the white front as one piece. If it's the latter, I think it will be better though as the sticker is actually thicker than I thought, so you can definitely feel it when you glide your finger from the sticker to the screen.
Anyway, I still like it a lot.
Ask me if you guys have any question!

Hey,
http://www.stickerboy.net/pages/nexus-7-1st-gen-skin-series this is the link for all the types of skin for nexus 7 1st gen.
What I have is this. http://www.stickerboy.net/collectio...lth-matte-antibacterial-nexus-7-1st-gen-skins
This is the super smooth finish version, but there is also the antibacterial one with grainy textured version for white as you'll find. I'm not sure how that one would look though. There is also this. http://www.stickerboy.net/collectio.../products/white-leather-nexus-7-1st-gen-skins Leather white. I personally think it would look a little bit weird with the texture, but not 100% sure.
I like the one I got for the most part. It's very smooth and feels nice, but when the tablet is warm, and your hands are also sticky, fingerprints stick to the back, and it kind of gets sticky from your hand, but after a short time, it just comes back to normal, smooth. and not really noticeable fingerprint. Just when the tablet is warm and you hand is sweaty.
Hope it helps!

Nice!
On the white one that you have, what's it like when it comes to general dirt? Does it wipe well, or does it easily retain dark marks and become dirty-looking quickly?
As for the link to the other skins, some actually look pretty darn cool!
Does it scratch easy? How about the corners? did it require using a hair dryer to soften it up? Im always worried that the corners will start peeling

Hey, I'm very sorry for late reply! I was expecting a notification from Tapatalk or something but there was nothing.
This one I have is very very smooth feel. Wipes super easily. Anything that gets on it, dirt, grease, they gets wiped very easily. But because of that, maybe it's not as grippy. But I don't mind personally.
Hope it helps!

As with my previous comment a few seconds ago, sorry for late reply! I haven't had any scratches yet. It seems pretty durable. Yea, I had to use hair dryer to soften it up the corners, then apply the corners. It's actually pretty simple. Just like you, I was worried because of the fact that I need to use hair dryer, so I first didn't buy this, but I was so temped, and decided to try. And there is a very helpful tutorial video on youtube, specifically for nexus 7 2012 version. It shows you regular fit and extreme fit, and for extreme fit, it will show you how to use hair dryer to get the corners. I followed that and it was pretty easy. Also, the video said, if you got it wrong, you should intentionally damage the skin and straighten it to reapply the corner. But I didn't do this as I was worried, I just peeled off the mistaken corner, and blow dried it and it softened up, and I just re applied and it worked fine.
One important tip, was that when you apply the corner as it was shown in video, you do the center of the corner first, then do the sides of the corner (you'll get it when you watch the video). You have to KEEP applying the blow dryer until you finish applying the corner. What I mean is..you should NOT stop the blow dryer after it seemed softened up. Keep applying the blow dryer until it softened up AND you have finished applying that one corner. Because when you stop the dryer, and apply with your finger, it will harden very quickly, and it will have wrinkles after you apply. I had this problem, and I peeled off again in the corner, and tried again, and it worked perfectly.
Hope if helps!
I had a skin on one of my older phones before. There is one thing people should think about. It didn't cross my mind until after I got the skin. Screen Protectors. The screen protector would have to go first, but you won't be able to take off the skin since the screen protector would come with it. LoL!!
This looks nice, but I replace my screen protector a bit often since it scratches. Guess I won't be getting this. =.[

Hands on 10/5 @ Best Buy w/ pics

Had the opportunity to play with the device today at Best Buy. First impression is picking this device up feels amazing in the hand. The build quality is superb. It feels very premium and solid. I haven't felt any device like this since the iphone 4S. Its also nice because the device isn't freakishly thin and actually feels comfortable in your hand.
The screen is the next thing you'll notice immediately. No other smartphone even comes close to this baby. Color accuracy is spot on and OMG is it bright! Text is so sharp and clear it just bounces off the screen. I actually think it was a little too bright, but that's better than not being bright enough these days.
Touchwiz seemed, for the most part, pretty zippy, definitely faster than the S5's UI. Of course Best Buy and Samsung's demo mode constantly running helped bog things down a bit, but it wasn't really that noticeable. I saw some lag with the Samsung keyboard, but again, nothing major. The new multitasking thing was pretty cool, and seemed pretty fluid, but there is always room for improvement here.
Seeing both colors in person, I probably prefer white. I am still a little undecided, but the white just stood out more, I don't know.
Enjoy the pics...

If it actually looked like it does in the pictures then I'd get the black but instead, the black looks grey in real life.

Yeah I noticed this too. I wish it was really black. Oh well.
White looks SO good.
Btw. I am not sure did you paid attention but when you touch back cover of the white how it feels compared to the blac? Is it the same exact soft plastic or different?

Yeah my pictures did justice for the white lol. But I went with the black, preferably because I've had a white device for a year and I miss black.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Cannot wait for the Canadian stores to get a demo up!
I saw the note edge at bestbuy. It looked very nice made me double think note 4. But don't want to wait for the release of the edge.

I'm not sure if the other guy actually has held both in his hands, but they don't feel the same. It's just like the Note 3....the white is more slippery and the black has more grip and is more tacky. I've held both and there is no doubt they are different.

+1 White feels nothing like the black one.
I held them both. I didn't feel any difference between the two that was noticeable.

I went to my local best buy just now and the back of the white is slippery and felt more plastic. Similar to the white note 3. There was a black note edge next to it and the back of it was grippy like my note 3. I could only assume the black note 4 is the same as the black edge.

I saw the note edge today and really liked the look. If it was mass produced I might of jumped on that one rather than the regular note.

Maybe they did it on purpose so that dirt wont easily stick on the back of the white note 4

I thought about getting it too but It was a good 1/4 inch wider so it was more harder to handle that the already hard to handle note 3.

Thanks for the pics and mini review, after seeing how much space the system takes (over 11gb!!!!!) and only having 17gb useable ill stick with my note 3 til n5 comes out.

Here is my review of the official OnePlus 3 Tempered Glass Screen Protector (3/3T) direct from OnePlus AND after about six weeks of usage. This screen protector has some huge pro's and some huge con's and I find I can't seem to say something positive without turning around and saying something negative. So I'll just jump right in and say it is the strongest screen protector I have ever used out of over 15 devices I've owned. BUT this strength means that it the phone is heavier by 12 grams, thicker by .6mm and can interfere with some phone cases due to its edge to edge size. I had to buy another phone case because my thin one kept pushing against the screen protector and injecting air bubbles. ARGH!
When applying the screen protector the black/white border, depending upon the color of protector you purchased, pretty much hides any air bubbles you might normally get with other screen protectors. BUT the black/white border also cuts off the right and left-hand side of the screen to where your text gets cut off (see image below for an example). Due to the thickness the fingerprint scanner is also recessed making scanning your fingerprint odd and a little less accurate. I found that I actually get more fingerprint scan errors.
The oleophobic coating makes sliding your finger across the screen a delight. Even my Pixel XL wielding friend had to agree that it was nice. The edge to edge protector visually is the best looking protector I have used which is another plus. Listed below is a quick summary of my Pro's and Con's.
The screen protector is great in these areas:
Fingerprint and smudge resistant
Finger glides VERY smoothly
Covers most everything edge to edge
Cut outs for front camera, speaker and fingerprint scanner
Very strong
The screen protector is not so great in these areas:
Cuts off the left-hand and right-hand side of the screen
Heavy in that it adds 12 grams to the 158 grams of the phone
Thick in that it adds .6mm to the 7.35mm of the phone
Isn't compatible with some phone cases (too wide, I had to buy a different case)
The thickness makes it strange on the finger print scanner area
Costly compared to most screen protectors
In summary I am removing my screen protector after six weeks of usage. I do wish I could get my money back but in the end it protected my phone well during that time. But every time I read an article where the first letter of every line was hidden I was reminded how much this thing frustrated me. When I realized my phone case was larger than I wanted, because I had to find an alternative case, I was reminded once again of how much this thing frustrated me. When I try to unlock my phone via the fingerprint scanner but get a read error due to the added depth of the screen protector, I am reminded, well you get the idea.
I'm sure others will, or do, love the OP3 screen protector from OP but it's just not for me.
Pretty much my same experience. Only bought it because I thought they had fixed their problems when they put it back on their site. LOL, no. They did not. I'm only keeping it on because I don't want to spend money on another screen protector.
The only time I notice the edges is on select websites. It usually isn't an issue
My big issue is that I ordered 2 and they only sent 1. They don't want to fix the issue. I've been back and forth going on 3 weeks now. I requested they check shipping weight, since it departed from their facility. They keep saying the same stuff over and over, telling me they aren't going to open an investigation. I've let them know I'd be sharing my experience. I like the products I receive, but I can't support a company that steals from its customers, and this one stole $20 from me.

I can appreciate that it isn't so noticeable on most websites. For me the image I had attached of the cut off screen is from an app that I use daily so I see the flaw every day. Also now that I have taken the screen protector off the phone the display is noticeably wider. I feel I have a wider phone even though it's probably just a few mm different.
This is a very important feedback as I was planning to buy the same under the impression that it should be perfect as made & sold by OnePlus directly. Now I will think twice before ordering one. thanks for the review.

Hum... of course it's a question of taste. I've the transparent Orzly but I dont use it. The phone is fat and the rubber contact it's not sexy I think.
Of course it is a personal choice. I'm using Spigen black case since I bought OP3. May not be the best out there but I kinda like it. Now I'm looking for a transparent case that won't turn yellowish or change colour in time.
Hmm, can you link one site that you can not see those letters you wrote?
I really dont see any problem, on any site or app I use, only in recovery, but that is very rare, and I dont mind that.
I would like you send me the link because I want to see are there maybe some v2 I have that is better than yours, I'm really happy with mine, its perfect.

This is not a website but rather an app called "ip cam viewer". But that is just one aspect of the items that I dislike about the screen protector. There's the weight, the width/height of it, the thickness and the cost. There are positives too but I believe I listed my perspective on the pro's and con's.
Honestly, everything that you view on your screen is being cut off with this protector. It's just how much of the readable space is being lost. I tell you now that I have the cover off my screen is wider. It's like a have a new phone.

What about clear version? Smoke black probably won't turn yellow because of its color. The base part is made with a fiber-like material in both clear & smoke black types and therefore it will also won't turn yellowish.
