If there any mod or setting that will tell an R3066 unit to boot to the home page?
If the unit is playing media or radio I would like it to continue playing when it restarts but not to open the app.
ie. Have the app playing but boot up to the initial home page.

So ever since I started using a KoR ROM I've noticed that whenever I press the home button to exit an app, I don't exit it. Instead, the app for some reason just restarts. This happens with ALL my apps, including stock ones.
If you don't know what I mean, say I'm playing Asphault 5. When I press the home button, instead of going to my home screen, my screen flashes for a second and Asphault acts as if I quit the game and it starts to resume the game.
Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?

Yes I have but nothing.
The music player crashed for the second time today. This is after I upgraded to Froyo (via Kies; I did not perform a master reset). The player works most of the time btw. The crash leaves me at a black screen, lit buttons, and no way to go to the launcher.
When I give a long push on the home button, the list with 6 recent apps pops up, but instead of icons it shows 'No recent applications.' The Task Manager button leads to another black screen.
The power button can pop up the menu and reboot the phone, but the touch buttons and a short press on home are not functioning.
Any hint on which applications' settings to clear? I did clear 'Music Player' settings (Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> All -> Music Player -> Clear data) - but Music Player is 0 kb so it is probably just a link or a shell for something else that is causing the problem.
Its really annoying how i can't make my own playlist with JUST my phone. Is there anyway to make my HTC HD7 play one song and STOP because i tend to listen to music when i sleep and its annoying how i have to keep turning it off. Is there a way i can make my HTC play 1 or 2 songs and just stop because the music runs through the whole night which isn't great

You can indeed make your own playlist within the phone, BUT you can't save them. I'm glad you brought this up because I have found a loop-hole for this. It's a little confusing so bare with me!
1. Launch Zune Hub.
2. Select "Music" (the word not the play button).
3. Swipe over until your collection is sorted by songs.
4. Long press a song and select "pin to start".
5. Press the home button to return to the start screen.
6. Scroll down to find the song you've just pinned.
7. Press on the song to start playing it.
8. The song starts playing. Press the home button (or back) to return home.
9. The song should still be playing. Launch Zune hub again.
10. Select "Music" again.
11. Swipe to sort collection by song again.
12. Long press the desired song and select "add to now playing".
13. Press the back button.
14. You should now be at the history section where it displays the song currently playing.
15. Press on the song to get to the "now playing" section.
16. Note that there are only the songs that you just added.
17. Long press as many songs as you wish and select "add to now playing" to add them to the queue.
Here is what I was talking about with the loop hole:
If you would have selected a song to play without pinning it to the home screen, it adds every track on that album to the "now playing" section and there is no way to clear the tracks out of there unless you started to play another song from a different album, in which case you'd find yourself in the same situation; with all the tracks on that album added to the list instead of just that one you selected. You could reboot the phone to clear the list completely or you could just pin a track to the home screen which not only clears the list but also adds that track to the list as well. The only thing is you have to make sure that the song you've pinned to the home screen is a track that you actually want in the list.
It seems as though this is a bug. Hopefully Microsoft adds some sort of "clear now playing" option in future builds and adding one song doesn't add the entire album. Hope this helped!
when playing a video and you press the power button,the screen goes off and locks the phone,the video doesn't continue to play.
it should lock all buttons .

also is you can find a replacment video player that can lock all keys (all i can find is locking the screen , menu and back key. i need to lock everything that my kid will not open the phone)

Just yesterday I installed the newest MX Player again to see what kind of feature set it has. And I don't even know how new it is but it actually has two separate "Kid Lock" modes.
So, in the Settings->Player->Touch Controls->Lock Mode
There are two options:
1) Kids Lock - locks out the screen and buttons (except for power and volume at least on my Galaxy Nexus)
2) Kids Lock (+ Touch Effects) - Same as kids lock, except it adds ToddlerLock style screen effects.

Just got my phone. My first MIUI device. I am having a hard time getting used to the home button behavior and if it can be changed. I like to keep my home screen clean. I keep most used apps in folders at the bottom of the screen. If I launch an app from a folder and I want to use the home button, instead of returning to the home screen it returns to the folder. Its very annoying. In many situations it acts exactly like the back button and not a home button.
Can this be solved or do I need to live with it?
Did you ever find a solution? It's driving me crazy that "home" doesn't take me home.
Anyone found a solution for this? It's very annoying! I would use a different launcher but when you change the MIUI default launcher some functionalities stop working or behave crazy like split screen on recents and others.
