review for metal frame for s7 edge without effect on signal - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Accessories

I finally got this metal frame which took me a month of waiting. Ebay seller said it won't effect signal which I kind double about it. As I thought I can always complain and get my money back. I decided to give it a try. So far the result has being good actually. Signal has very tiny effect which doesn't really show any difference in normal use. However the frame itself doesn't feel as good as s7 edge's own aluminum. Also the frame makes the phone look little big..I will attach the signal difference with the screenshot.

Compare GPS and see if it locks. That's the issue I had when I used a metal case previously

First dig up the back magnet
(magnet at back will affect S-Pen, in front won't:silly
Use a bit white glue to seal it
Normally when we hold it in the middle, it will look like this...
Use 3M Ultra Thin Fastener, hook on top and loop below
Result:
Advanced:left side can stop cards from dropping out
right loop side can secure with hook side
Results, so it will be secure and won't slip again
Left loop can also secure with the hook side

Those are not switches. They are contacts. Look on the cover; the NFC antenna is contained within the cover. There should even be some text printed on the cover itself stating so.

Disassembling P7

Overall I'm really impressed with the build quality, but I have one annoying issue. Somehow dust comes in through the back and now I have massive amounts of dust in front of my camera, and all pictures I take look horrible.
I checked with warranty, and I have to pay €8 to ship the phone, and then probably wait 2 weeks to get is back, so I am considering to clean it myself, it seems like a 10 minute job.
Has anyone here removed the back of their P7? Does the adhesive still work well when assembling the back again?

i do that change my self
and all works good
Hey, me too. No problems so far, all went fine. Good luck!
That wasn't hard indeed. 2 minutes with the hairdryer, some breadclips/tooth picks/guitar picks and you're in.
I did notice that there was barely any adhesive near the camera and the bottom of the back cover doesn't stick very well any more.
Is there some suitable glue to improve the cover fastening, that also melts when heated?
A friend told me that the clue which is used for car-windows has the same characteristics, but I didn't try actually.. So, I'm quite not sure if that works also.

Flappy door cover

Today I had to put to death the flappy charging cover. The little black clasp piece fell off, so then it didn't want to stay closed. I tried supergluing it and it wasn't perfectly flat, so then it wouldn't close at all. I decided to take a razor to it and now the door is completely gone! No more waterproof... and it feels like there's a gaping hole in the bottom where it used to be so smooth! Oh well. I always feel like those little door things are just trying to break anyway.

You tried a lot harder than I did to save it. I just bought a replacement cover for $5 off amazon and haven't looked back. I tried to go flapless, but that gaping hole was just too awkward.
I guess I won't have to say "THIS IS THE LAST TIME I EVERY BUY SAMSUNG!!!" Just kidding. We have a Samsung washer and dryer for crying out loud!

Fixed it!

Xtreme screen protector at 5Below

If you have 5Below in your state go there and get the s7 edge screen protector. It's great. I've tried zagg and skinomi and this trumps them by far. It's $5 so I figured it would be worth a try. I'm going to go back and buy some more. It's a tpu type curved material with a glossy look, doesn't dent like the skinomi one and it adheres really well to the edges. Also my tech21 case fits well. Try it out and report back here!
Any pics?
Kinda hard to take a picture of the actual screen protector on the phone. When I go buy some more I'll take pictures.

Decided to check it out.
Didn't buy it as would still rather check out the GPEL2 and see how it works with sensitivity with the Ghostek Atomic 2.0 case. As the ProGlass almost worked well but it later had sensitivity issues.
But here's the outside of the box. Hope when JonandRoid gets it he might be able to take some pictures of the protector.
