U must have ROOT -> S-OFF ->CWM Recovery. You have this stuff?
Thank you man
The one labelled 'Call of Duty' is actually called Bank Gothic and is used everywhere
Isn't posting these here like posting up a cracked app? I think those are all copyright. I would suggest open source fonts from here instead if thats the case.

You don't need S-OFF to flash from recovery.

this font has no bold version, so i had to copy and rename the original to bold too, it means you will have no bold fonts but try this..... ive not had chance to test it though, just flash it from recovery.

Here is how I changed my font from stock to Roboto
1. Root your device
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454112
2. download your Font onto your tab
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/design/Roboto_Hinted_20111129.zip (roboto - ics 4.0 font)
3. install any font changer app, run, select font, BOOM delicious new font appears
Roboto is amazing. Love this font. I use it in all my apps now. Looks 100% better on 99% of interfaces (for some reason looks a bit squished in gmail)
does anyone know how to change the font of the clock in the status bar? I hate the font that Samsung is using.

if you change trough update.zip i think (CMIIW) thats dangerous but if you know that samsung default has font changer in setting but the one i dont understand is how to add more cause i had copy and paste into system/font with root exp but no luck and the font not showing on list
Just a quick update on what I have recently found is the best solution to getting Roboto on this device.
Don't use a font changing app like Font Changer or Font Installer, etc. Specifically those two don't overwrite the default fonts correctly & that's why you will see weird looking fonts sometimes (gmail app for example).
Best & Easiest Solution (requires root):
1. Download this rar file.
2. Extract the three .ttf files and copy over to your device.
3. Copy them to the system\fonts and overwrite the originals (I will give you a link to the originals).
4. If you want to go back to stock, download this file and do steps 2 & 3 again.
Anyone tried this on ICS? I did it but saw zero change

you can use https://play.google.com/store/apps/...yLDIxMiwiY29tLmpydW1teS5mb250Lmluc3RhbGxlciJd
for custom fonts @ settings->display->fonts, u rip the fonts.apk from supressed and push it. it has a few fonts and is considerably smaller in size.

achyut.

SJ Secret font

In case anyone interested, attached is an old rounded clean font originally found in https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/req-sjsecret-lg-font-apk-port-s6-t3166368/amp/ . Credits goes to contributor/uploader.
Added one serif fonts, it's a bit small, though I can enlarge it but the problem is it will no longer work after repack.

I will if I can, but as far as I'm concern, unlike for Asus devices, there is no way to create installable fonts for LG device. Those are old fonts, presumably no longer available in Smartworld.

Cool, just confirming no Root requirement.
Does this open up the possibility of more font customization? I've noticed the fonts folder on the device has more fonts than what's listed in system settings.
Works on LG V20. Thanks! ??

I'm trying to do this too. Has anyone been able to change the font in the apk? I can install the apk with no error but cannot get the font to show up.
Sadly, you can't. It's not officially signed so it is not eligible to be used in LG device
Hi, in case you still hang on to your LG device. I coincidently find a guide that allows us to do so. You can follow the thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lg-font-generator.4406787/
