TeamViewer ID PASS, Stock 4.4.4 or 5.1, Root 2.46 (all models have a Root from me who put on 10 minutes, the theme is on XDA), 10-30 minutes depending on your internet connection, WinXP, Win Vista, Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1 on Win 10 can be a problem ... I do not work in part or another function.

Unlock bootloader
Hi, CrashXXL! I have a Moto Z Play, actually with Nougat 7.1.1 updated by adb/sideload (patch jue 1st). Bootloader can´t be unlocked - error message (bootloader) invalid boot state. I´d like to install TWRP, but first unlock bl. Can you fix it? How much? Thanks in advance!

[Q] UK moto x rooting

hi,
I can't post in the developer sections, so a question here:
Has anyone rooted their UK moto X yet? Comes with 4.4.2
the motorola chat said they expect we'll be able to unlock the bootloader but I'm not holding my breath.
But rooting? Yes please!

as of right now there is no root for 4.4.2 so you have to wait and see if someone finds a way to get root
or wait and see if you can unlock your bootloader.

I thought you bought it a couple of days ago and the bootloader wasn't unlockable: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/help/help-bootloader-unlock-allowed-t3208438
Did you either get a different phone since then or did you actually see that it was unlockable at one time?

It doesn't work for me. Make sure you go to the thread and read a bit about it first, it won't unlock your bootloader but it apparently will change the status back to "yes" after a device has been rooted.

Not that I heard of any.
You first have to unlock the bootloader (offical way from motorola website) and then flash through twrp supersu..
There are one click root apps but they don't support our device (heard on 5.1 it is but anything on 6.0). You can give a shot to Kingroot.

Will unlocking the bootloader prevent OTA updates?
Honestly using CM14.1 on my OnePlus3 was a bug ridden nightmare recently.. I can't remember the last time I used a stable bug free release of CM on any device.. I'm thinking about just sticking to Oxygen OS but don't want to have to wipe the phone at a later date with a bootloader unlock..
Yeah, if you are going to be flashing roms and stuff you might as well unlock first since it wipes data.
Just did mine.
anyway to remove the flash warning screen on startup when bootloader is unlocked?

Could have been a fluke but my OTA update failed. I relocked, applied update, unlocked again. Each of these resets the settings an requires skipping through annoying welcome screens.

Best case: Yes
Most likely case: You'll have to wait a day or two until someone posts a link to a flashable zip on XDA. Check out this thread
Worst case: You'll have to re-lock, upgrade, then re-unlock

My TWRP was installed and used through MI9 (when first purchased stock). Once it updated I lost bootloader.
The phone was able to run TWRP with an unlocked bootloader and I believe this was always the case. Once the bootloader got updated and locked, safestrap was the only recovery available for use.
