hi, i just got a z5 and want to create some themes for it on mac osx whats the best way to do this?
any programs? step by step guides etc would be helpfull and my phone is non rooted and stock as i want to keep it that way just want to create themes

Download the official theme creator from Sony Developer website.
It is a jar file so you can run it on Mac.
Further instructions can be found @ google and the sony dev page.

Hey guys so I just need a few tips on how to start off on theme developing, I'm still a n00b and just need starter tips eg:
What I'd need to create a developing environment.... What programs, Will I need to be on Ubuntu or any other Linux OS.
I have some really good ideas for a few themes and lockscreen morphs but I have no idea where to start. I am pretty experienced in Photoshop and know what I'm doing there but other than that I'm clueless.

Hi I kinda got some help with the themes and I read about the guide written about theming which was great! I have a few questions that need to be answered if someone wouldn't mind helping Help please all you themers
1. Is theming easier for Cyanogenmod or Miui? (Cause I heard Cyanogenmod is relativity new to themes right?)
2. Does anyone know how to convert a iphone lockscreen that was made out of Java and css to android? (Ex. is this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4yhjPwsrX4
3. Does the noobie guide refers to Cyanogenmod themeing or Miui theming?
4. Would anyone that has ported Iphone themes before, would mind helping along the way if she/he wouldn't mind

I've tried both CyanogenMod and miui theme editing for my own use and find miui far easier, mainly because the theme isn't an APK and doesn't require signing.

I am currently using GO Launcher for my themes on my phone. Is there ANY POSSIBLE WAY to convert my theme I have already created on my phone to an APK file rather than coding one from scratch? I have searched this site and have begun to learn how to use Android Studio in the likelihood that I will have to code my themes. If there is a way to just take what I have made in GO Launcher on my phone and export it to an APK file for others to use/put on google play, I would be grateful to whoever knows how to do it. Or if anyone is successfully using the Java based GO Theme Factory, I could use some help because I'm getting an error when trying to run the app. Java is working fine on my computer. Sorry for being a noob, but this site has helped me root and do all sorts of other stuff I didn't think was possible. Thanks for reading.

Could anyone please upload the stock Xperia home apk + lib files (if there are any) for LP 5.1.1?
I've debloated my stock rom a while ago and now I'm working with some themes and I really need the home apk to see any changes and what it would look like on other Xperia phones.
I want to install it as a system app, not on data.
I've downloaded one from apk mirror buy I think it's not the same apk. Frankly I think it's just a clone or something.
I'm quite sick of all this material look and I want to try something different.
