changing the unlock/lock sound to Star Trek door 'swoosh' - X Style (Pure) Themes and Apps

Just a little tweak for any other Trekkies out there. Just replace the Lock.ogg & Unlock.ogg files in root>system>media>audio>ui with either of these (rename them first of course).
Reboot & it should work.

Awesome! Thank you

Excellent thanks!:good:

It's time to show off your bootanimation to your friends and make them jealous of your android phone. May be it's just me; I haven't seen any horizontal bootanimation so far. Why should we have a small animation and ignore the rest of the screen?!
No matter what size screen you have, the NeoGlass bootanimation can fit it perfectly and it doesn't lose quality. I have highly optimized the images and made the animation as smooth as possible. I hope you guys experience the same thing.
MIUI Version Coming soon!

Note: There are so many phones out there so I can't put a link for each one. But, you can download the bootanimation.zip file and the desc.txt file. For most of you guys the animation should work without any issues. If you feel different size would be better do this:
(Skip this part if you like the size of the bootanimation)
-Open attached desc.txt file and just modify the the resolution values based on your device screen size (Nexus one values are 480x800 (width x height). For example, if your resolution values are 300x700, your txt file should look like this in the first line:
300 700 24
-Save the file. Use winrar, 7zip, bettezip, etc to open your bootanimation in archive form (do not extract it) and drag the modified txt file and update the zip files. DONE! You optimized the file for your device.

1]
Use "root explorer" or "adb push command"
push it to /system/media (overwrites the original one)-make sure you backed up your original animation.
or
push it to /data/local (does not overwrite the original)-if you delete it, you will see your original animation.
2]
Code:
[COLOR="Blue"]adb remount
adb push <path to bootanimation.zip> /data/local[/COLOR]
[or [COLOR="Blue"]adb push <path to bootanimation.zip>/system/media[/COLOR]]

Wow, this is indeed the first horizontal bootanimation I've ever seen. Will try it out and tell ya what I think.
The android frying apple is horzontal..but ill try this when i get hime.
This should be the stock CM animation! Thanks a lot.
OOOH this is HAWT! I've been using the Vaudville Boot animation but this is waay better
very nice job... any chance for a Warm version? (either TwoPointTwo or Z)
I spy another VCP fan
Nice animation, thanks
Great JOB!!!!
love it!!!
tested horizontal version on SE Xperia X10... works pretty well... only issue is the resolution of X10 is 854x480, so, in vertical position, there are small black "bands" at top & bottom..
For easier installation thru recovery...
here i have attached 2 files which can be flashed via recovery...
for placing the bootanimation automatically in /system/media flash the attached file:
CM7_NeoGlass_Horizontal_system.zip
for placing the bootanimation automatically in /data/local flash the attached file:
CM7_NeoGlass_Horizontal_data.zip
btw this will not backup ur old bootanimation
not working for lg p500 on 320/480 (even if i edited desc.txt)
would love this in vertical.... and if the "7" was in between n and o would look much nicer but love it...
if there is any plan for vertical one... will wait for that
great work

what Operating sys are you using? What zip program do have?
Two reasons didn't work out for you. Your zip program didn't update correctly and you compressed the file. You should store the zip file (Zero compression). Otherwise you get blank screen.
Second reason: You file was not replaced, backup ur original animation and delete it. Wipe cache and dalvik and then push or flash the new one.

[GUIDE]How-to-make a CWM flashable .zip[For Newbs]

Things Needed:
-File you want to add to your phone.
-Base.zip
-7-zip
-Notepad++ OR linux text editor
Hello,
Newbs....this is the guide for making a flashable zip so that you can add or replace files to your phones(if you know what I mean).A few days ago I was faced with the challenge of making a guide for flashable zips. There were a few guides but most of them didnt work with me..So I decided to create my own!
Base.zip download link:http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?xkxpqd1en6faeg3
STEPS:
Directory Paths::silly:
(1) Download and place the Base.zip anywhere on your desktop;
(2) Right click on the file and choose: "7-Zip / Open archive".not extract just open it.Be careful
You should see two folders - META-INF and system.
Lets start with system folder.Double click it.In there you would put all the files you want to add or replace to your system.for eg.you want to add boot animation then you have to create sub folders within system folder.bootanimation.zip goes into media>system path.add files to their respective paths.
I hope you get the fundamentals...even i am not a pro in this....
/system/app - all the apps you want to add
/system/framework/ - framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk, android.policy.jar
/system/etc - vold.fstab, PowerOn.wav(this is the bootanimation sound)
/system/media - bootanimation.zip (custom Roms only)
/system/lib - libraries (_ _ _ _*.so)
The other file in the zip which is META.INF should be left unchanged as it is....
Voila...you dont even know it but you have made your first flashable zip....and boy this is the basics....:silly:
NOTE:This Guide doesnt make you a full fledged developer......:crying:
WHY?
The World of developing is a lot more complicated.....
Note from OP:
Haters shall always hate.If you hated this thread avoid it do not start spamming, flaming and offtopic....simply stay away from this thread!Press thanks If I helped you and lastly I am ready to answer all your questions:angel: no matter how absurd they are.No offence though. If you need I will simplify the process with screenshots....
Sayonara
Cheers,:good:
ExonakiDev
Thnx worked for me!!!!!
welcome!!!
Good guide
Although there is an easier method I know, but still nice one : thumb up:
Thanks Exondev , just a quick question .
You call it a cwm flashable zip , but I assume this is just fine for twrp too ?
all the best
rich
Hmm There are easier ways to create a zip, it takes me around a minute for me. It is all in the META-INF that is what drives to install in a flashable ZIP, if that is wrong it will not work and result in an error.
Thanks for the guide though.

First, thank you for explaining this! You are awesome for it!!!
Second, Your punctuation is horrible, my only request is to fix it as I have. Meaning, put spaces after periods or your sentences will seem like file names instead of the start and stop of your sentences.
Thanks again because this helps a lot and please keep this advice in mind when making new posts as I look forward to seeing you post again for dev noobs who are just like me!!!
Thank you for your help and understanding that this lack of proper punctuation can (and will) confuse super noobs! Lololol

[BootAnimation]Scorpion vs Kratos MK9

**********************************************************************************************************************************
NOT RESPONSABLE IF SOMETHING HAPPEN DURING THIS INSTALLATION OR IF YOU DO A MISTAKE DURING THIS PROCESS
**********************************************************************************************************************************
Hi Community,
here i am bringing my 1st. bootanimation for the LG G2 VS980, Scorpion facing the God of Olympus Kratos and pretty sure can be use for any 1080p Screen Resolution out there as well. Did one similar in my time with the Droid X but planning to create some good new animations.
How to Install :
---------------------
1- Transfer the Zip file to your Device (I personally have a Folder with the name "Boot Animations")
2- Rename the Zip file to bootanimation.zip ( the .zip is just the extension so no need to add that part)
3- Using the ES File Explorer (the one i use) go to /System/Media rename the current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation_Original.zip (so that way you have a backup of the orignal in place)
4- transfer the file to /system/media using ES FIle Explorer
5- go to Properties and change permission to RW-R-R
6- Reboot and Enjoy.
---------------------------------------------------------
Download Animation file :
Click Here to Download the NON-FLASHABLE File
---------------------------------------------------------
How to install Flashable Zip :
------------------------------------------
1- Copy Zip file to you phone (i prefer having a Folder name Boot Animations and have the files there)
2- Reboot to Recovery ( i'm using TWRP but case is with any other custome recovery )
3- Go to where you have the file
4- Flash the Bootaniamtion
5- Reboot and Enjoy
---------------------------------------------------------
Download Animation file :
Click Here to Download the FLASHABLE File
---------------------------------------------------------
Here to take a look of the Animation in action

PS. This can be install using Flashify
