P9 Camera/Microphone at Concerts and loud music - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

Hi!
Did anyone of you already use their Huawei P9 at concerts with loud music? How is the microphone?
It's so hard to find information about the mic while every other spec is written everywhere.
Is the sound distorted? How does it sound with heavy bass?
Thanks!

I think that here is your answer :

I hear no heavy bass, but it sounds good to me.

[Q] Xperia SP low volume confusion

I am planning to buy the Xperia SP soon.I have read reviews all over the internet and in this forum and one huge turn off for this phone is the loudness of the speaker. If the ringing volume is low and I cant pick it up in noisy environments...it beats the whole purpose of buying this phone even though Sony is worldwide Leader in Audio Quality...
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT DECIDING FACTOR WHILE BUYING THIS PHONE....
So please let me know ( IF POSSIBLE through a small video clip a sound test of the speaker when ringing and while video playback) if the loudspeaker is ringing loud enough to pick up a call..
Also let me know if the in call volume from both sides is loud enough when on the road both thru normal and Bluetooth headset.
I know this is too much to ask but since I cannot get my hands on a Xperia SP and check it for myself...Please try helping me by being my eyes and ears
My heart is set on this phone and none other..so please help me.
I personally never had problems with the speaker, and it is much louder and clearer than my nexus 7
The earphone has pretty clear sound, but I'm not sure if it's loud because I never used it in a noisy environment
The loudness of the speaker is good, way better then my old phone. (wildfire s)
a major problem with the phone is it's very low call volume, when us are using normal speakers(not on earphone, though).
the loudspeaker is loud enough..but when playing music its not that clear..

[Q] Video Recording Sound, too much bass

Hello there,
I have made some video recordings with the phone, at several (plenty) concerts and when I re-view the videoclips the sound is terrible, there is too much bass, you can't hear anything. My wife's Galaxy S2 records videoclips with very clear sound.
Is there a way to make the sound from the videos to sound more clearly? (I repeat, only on high music volume, like concerts and stuff)
Thank you!

I think this "phenomenon" happens with most phones, most cheap camera's. I'd say it's just a matter of adjusting the sound input volume while/before recording, but we can't do that. There is just 1 lvl of sound we can record in. High end devices deal with these things better.
I tought so, uh well at least I can record with my wife's SGS 2 )

recording a musical instrument with the Nokia 8

Hi did anyone try recording a musical instrument with the Nokia 8?
Is anyone willing to try and do something simple with a guitar or something else I'm really curious what the OZO sounds like when recording a musical instrument...
Thanks guaranteed!!
I haven't recorded isolated instruments, but I have noticed that in loud settings (concert venue, car stereo) the microphone seems to saturate and clip pretty easily. I haven't seen any kind of gain control, either. It would probably be pretty decent in a quiet, more studio-like setting, but it doesn't seem to handle louder environments well.

Thank you this information is very useful for me, that kind of clipping worries me as I also play a high tin whistle that it's shrill high notes could cause microphones to clip, do you think they can fix that gain issue? Is the recording you did after the recent updates? Also have you tried recording a loud environment with a different phone to compare if they would clip in the same loud environments? Especially interested in the LG V30 or G6 with regard... I also heard that the new Sony Xperias should be good with regard and able to record loud concerts... Thank you very much!
I watched a video on Youtube in which a person used a Nokia 8 to record pushing back a Boeing 777 aircraft! wow! the sound is very crisp and doesn't clip despite the relatively loud environment, xasbo, do you reckon your specific unit could be faulty? and the clipping has been fixed in more recent units? thanks for your help!

Question Speaker Loudness

Hello to everyone.
What do you think about the general loudness of the speakers? Especially when ringing. I think it is very poor. Sometimes I don't even hear it. Even when playing Music or YouTube it is not very loud. Is there a way to boost the loudness?
