I suppose you are on a E5823 and follow the install instruction right?
Could you give some more info, like wich device you have and wich option you chose on the installer?
In my test i couldn't replicate this behaviour.

I'll update the OP while i try to fix the problem.

Would be better to do a full boot before installing Xposed Framework.

Can someone else test this stock kernel?
how to flash
-boot in recovery
-install
-install image
-select stockboot.img (the one attached at the end of the post)
-select Boot (under Select Partition to Flash Image
-swipe to flash!
Is working fine now on my device.

there seems to be an issue if PIN code for SIM card is enabled.
I popped my SIM in to my old S5 and turned of PIN code, and it worked just fine

Yeah, it booted. Working extremely nice now! First time I've managed to get 86k on antutu. Thanks a lot!
There's another bug when using that xperia X lockscreen. When you activate the home screen double tap to sleep and you double tap to sleep, and when you use your fingerprint to unlock, it asks for you to put the PIN Code anyway.

Have anyone tested the stock kernel i posted before?

This beta version of the launcher from Ben Ling fixes it

Maybe I'll test your kernel later, I'm late for work

@JTdevAndroid Can you please provide some Screenshots from the difference of the extra features?
I'm using the rom the entire day and I have only a problem that the app tomtom go can't connect to their servers. I will check the connection at home.
Thanks for giving us the first rom for this device. [emoji106]

Hi I found another bug. I'm using the German version of the firmware.
The bug is, if I'm using a headphone, and play music and increase the sound level I got the following dialog. In Stock rom I can see the text.

Just flashed the stock kernel 2 min. ago.
working fine for me too

Found the source of the problem if the SIM PIN is enabled:
is the Xperia X SystemUI that is causing it.
I didn't noticed at all because i had the PIN disabled on my SIM card.
The only dumb solution i know at the moment is to disable the SIM PIN.
@Raz0Rfail:
i bet you are using the Xperia X System UI any other works fine
I will put some screenshoots of the rom when i have some time.

thanks for the feedback, i'll update the OP

@JTdevAndroid
You are right with the Xperia X SystemUI.
I'm using the NStyle and it works nice.
The last thing I found is the using of the Rom heats up the phone. But this problem has the phone in every stock rom from LP to MM.

Hi there,
is encryption possible with this ROM?
Thanks
Michael

Encryption is untested when using the debloat script/option.
Should work like stock rom if not using it.

Welcome to NoleKat!
EVERYONE SHOULD READ POST #3 BEFORE CONTINUING
This rom initially started out as a port from the T211 KitKat release, but it has now been re-based on the T210 Italian KitKat firmware with kernel compiled from source. It is Touchwiz based and somewhat debloated.
It seems to be very stable.
Q & A thread is located HERE.
FEATURES
Based on T210 Italy firmware
Deodexed
init.d
sqlite
Rooted
Busybox
App Ops enabled
4-Way Reboot
Most all apps that are available in the Play Store have been removed
Added secondary symbols to keyboard (see screenshot)
External sdcard fix for KitKat
Newer (T310) launcher and Weather Widget
Custom Boot Animation support
Kids Mode Add-on (see post #2 add-ons)
OGBattery Mod add-on (see post #2 add-ons)
INSTALLATION
Download v2.1 full rom and the v2.2 update zip from link below
Boot into your custom recovery (recommend Philz Touch)
Perform a factory reset / full wipe (rom install does not wipe data)
Flash 2.1 zip
Then flash the v2.2 update
Reboot and enjoy
Report back any bugs you find
I recommend a full wipe, but you can always try a dirty flash.
NOTE ABOUT INTERNAL SDCARDS
Our 4.1.2 version roms use the /data/media directory as the "internal sdcard".
4.2+ versions of Android use the /data/media/0 directory due to support for multiple users.
If you switch to a different Android version, you need to be aware of this difference.
I recommend wiping "internal sdcard" also before switching from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2.

ADD-ONS
Add-ons are available HERE
Kids Mode Add-On See THIS post for more info.
V3 has been uploaded. The Drawing app has been fixed.
V2 has been uploaded. It adds a missing library file that caused the Kids Voice recorder to crash and installs all Kids apps to the /data partition (instead of system/priv-app) so the kids mode will survive a rom update.
SlimNole Debloat - See THIS post for more info.
OGBattery Mod See THIS post for more info. Flash the zip in recovery and follow instructions in Aroma installer.
Unlock Effect Changer - This app will allow you to choose between 7 different lockscreen unlock effects. See THIS post and THIS post for more info.
S-Voice app for our T210(R). It should install as normal app.
KeyToggle.1.1 app. Made by me. This will toggle the setting to turn software navigation keys on/off. Very basic interface, needs root access. Should work for any device.
Custom Boot Animation mod. Flash this zip in recovery. This mod to the bootanimation binary allows you to use your own custom boot animation. This zip contains my old SvelteNole boot animation (never released) in the /system/media folder as a sample. Just place your own bootanimation.zip (made for our device) in /system/media. If you delete the /system/media/bootanimation.zip, the standard AOSP style animation will play. Of course, if your animation doesn't currently display, this will not fix it.
Samsung Photo Editor app for our T210(R). It should install as normal app.
STOCK RECOVERY - This is the stock KK recovery in a recovery-flashable zip. See THIS post for why you may want this.
Stock NoleKat kernel available at link below for those who flashed another and wish to return to the included kernel.

What's all this talk about bootloaders and firmware? Here is the answers to your questions.
Bootloaders do not change when you install a rom in recovery. Bootloaders also do not get backed up when you make a nandroid backup.
There are (at least) 2 versions of bootloaders that Samsung has released for our T210(R) tablets. Most people bought their tablet with the old bootloader version (some may have come with new version). The new bootloader is included with the recently released versions of the full KitKat firmware packages found on sites like sammobile.com.
The old bootloader does not properly work with offline charging in KitKat roms. If you plug your tablet in to charge while powered off, it will power on and boot into the OS. The touchscreen may not work (requiring a reboot) depending on which kernel version you have. It requires a customized kernel to work properly.
The new bootloader does work properly with offline charging. When plugged in while powered off, the tablet screen will show the battery icon, but will not boot into the OS. This is the same behavior as in previous Android 4.1.2 that we have been using. The new bootloader also fixes the glitches in recovery navigation.
Initially, the new bootloader was causing problems with custom recoveries (recovery bootloop), but that has been fixed. Update your custom recovery to the latest version.
If you decide to update to the new bootloader, you can do so by following these steps:
Firmware Update Installation
Download the appropriate KitKat firmware version for your device from sammobile.com. (Don't ask me which region is the one for you. You make that decision).
Install the full firmware package using Odin. There are many tutorials that explain how to do this. Google it.
Download the latest custom recovery you wish to use (Odin version will end with ...tar.md5).
Install custom recovery with Odin. Instructions are in the recovery threads.
That's it. At this point you have the new bootloader and recovery and can install whatever rom you like.
Take note that if you install the new bootloader and then return to a 4.1.2 rom, you will need to use the kernel I posted to get offline charging to work properly.

Nope, Tablet powers up into OS when plugged in. This seems to happen on most of the KitKat upgrades I've seen.

Yes. Also check your internal sdcard for "0" directory that may have things you can delete. Newer versions of Android use "data/media/0" as the internal card where 4.1.2 uses "/data/media".
v1.1 uploaded
Root is fixed, no need to flash SuperSu now.
(If you already flashed v 1.0 and have root, there is no reason to update)

Simple Battery Saving Tips:
1. Always, be sure u made a clean install of whichever ROM u installed.
2. Once after installing a ROM, let it settle.
3. Debloat appropriately, you don't want to mess with the system stability by removing the necessary apk's.
4. Use Auto Brightness along with keeping the brightness bar to least value.
5. Use Underclocking and Undervolting for more battery backup, but do read a lot before u do it. Coz improper settings with them(ex: Dealing with voltages), can screw up the h/w.
6. Turn Auto-Sync OFF. Saves a lot of juice.
7. Switch off Data/Wifi when u don't use them.
8. Using Custom kernels will increase battery backup. U can choose custom governors and i/o schedulers and such. I suggest using intelliactive governor and sio scheduler for best results.
9. I personally wouldn't suggest using Greenify, because it does what our Sony Xperia's Stamina Mode does. And Stamina mode works better in my opinion. Still, u could give it a try freezing apps which u don't need.
10. Use Amplify(Xposed Module) to reduce Google Play Services drain, this helps a lot on any phone with 4.4.2 and above.
11. Restart your phone atleast once in 3 days, therefore old processes are stopped while shutting down.
12. Don't use any RAM/Cache cleaner or Battery saving apps.
Battery Caliberation:
1. Charge your device to 100%. Use it till it turns OFF. (Do this for 3-5 charge cycles and u will notice the difference).
Most of these steps work on non rooted devices too.. Except u have to disable apps in Settings instead of removing the apk's like with rooted users. Anyways u guys can provide me with feedbacks after u followed these steps. Hope u benefited from this.

Hello, tried to install but ended in a bot loop
I followed the steps mentioned in the op.
After flashing, the boot animations starts (the blue one) but after that it always restarts.
I am on unlocked bootloader if it matters.
Thank you

I think there is only 1 custom kernel for 4.4.4 Stock/Stock based ROMs.. Its Hodor Kernel by Olivier.. I myself will try making a kernel if time persists.. But Stock kernel is already good enough.. You are welcome to try any kernel that is for 283 builds..

Google Contacts Sync is removed, since most of the users won't use much Gapps like Contacts Sync, Google+, etc(They tend to remove it as they see it as bloatware).. If users need it back, i will put it back in v2).. For now, u can try getting the apk and push it and set perms..

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
You should be rooted and have custom recovery installed. Follow ROOTING guide and install RECOVERY and follow next steps.
1) Keep it SD card and reboot to recovery.
2) Wipe data/cache and dalvik and then flash the ROM, incase you get a bootloop (which you won't) then reboot in recovery wipe data/cache and dalvik TWICE then again reboot recovery from advanced menu and then install the ROM and reboot.
3) Will work with any recovery prefer using Philz. (Link above)
4) Reboot and keep patience as first boot can take upto 15-20 minutes.
INFINIX ZERO users make sure you have stock boot.img flash this mod first CAMERA FIX and then using SP Flashtool flash stock boot.img or else wait for my mod
NOTE : After Installing ROM will automatically reboot recovery to fix root. Manually reboot to system from recovery
BUGS
- At first boot it will ask to setup device, that time while setting google account keyboard won't work as keyboard is not enabled skip that part and manually enable keyboard later from menu. It'll work fine after that
- After you setup the device it will say "Unfortunately Setup Wizard has stopped" keep tapping on ok continuously and after 3-4 times you'll see a black screen then press home key from device (hard key middle one on your device below screen) and you'll go to home screen. I know you can bypass that! OR to fix this issue just open the zip with any zip viewer and go to system folder then app and delete the "Browser.apk" and install the ROM
- ROM can't take screenshot from "Volume UP or Down + Power Key" but hey Gravity Box is there! :silly:
- You may get error like "Unkown issue request from Google Play Music or Services". You must know it's from a lower Android and SoC port hence will be having some issues but Google Play Music works just fine. Uninstall it if you don't want it. Fixed Check Add-Ons sections for Fix. :good:
- You may see issue that Dolby doesn't gets enabled, but plug in headphones then open the option dolby it'll work. In case you are frustated with my work install this Dolby app along with it, This one will work absolutely fine Download HERE
None other. ROM is totally fine and has good performance and battery backup
ADDONS
GApps Fix download HERE
ROM doesn't has Lollipop taskswitcher use "Fancy Switcher" from Play Store to get lollipop taskswitcher.
For lollipop lock screen download lollipop lock screen from Play Store
FAQ
Q) ROM is having bad RAM management?
A) It is due to so heavily tweaked. Play games then complain if it hangs or not.
Q) Pre-Integrated Dolby still doesn't work?
A) Uninstall it simply using system app remover I added in ROM and install Dolby from this thread.

yes, mine did not work as well. it seems that it does not create the data partition correctly, mine shows that the sdcard0 is unavailable. and hence wont boot.
One question please.
Will the rome work on any mt6592 devices?
My device has octacore ARM Cortex A-7 @ 1.66GHz ,Mali-450 MP and 5.5inch screen.
The device is Voto X6 (WEITU)

Honestly i didn't had any crashes or bootloops caused by removing it in more than a month of use on Z5 Compact and nobody reported this problem on the compact thread.
Still thanks for the advice :good: i will look into it!

Viper4Android.
I cannot install it, using the stock apk, unless i have system root and busybox, but i didn't try hard enough maybe.
I know i can implement it directly in the rom but i didn't get an answer/permission to do it from the author, so i chose to use a system root.
I would love to have systemless root and xposed tough, maybe in the next release

Thank you very much! Totally understood.
But does that mean Viper4Android has hardcoded the SU Binary? Would be disappointing.
Another question: Would you rate this rom as stable as stock?
It is possible to install this rom on E6633/E6683? :'(

A quick tip, it's pretty easy to get xposed and supersu systemless to install as they both use sh scripts for their update-binary you can install both like a normal supersu zip in updater-script

I've just installed this rom. It works flawlessly. However I installed Sony Home 10.0.A.0.40. In my opinion is better Home 10.0.A.0.32, that it is in the new FW 32.2.A.0.224 by Sony, than Home 10.0.A.0.40. Anyone have Home 10.0.A.0.32?
Thanks in advance.
Quick question - I'm currently on stock .224. Can I just flash this or do I need to downgrade to .185?
EDIT - I take it TWRP is included as well?
EDITED EDIT - I just went ahead and flashed this over stock .224 and everything went fine. I just cannot believe how fast and smooth this ROM is. Amazing work!
I went straight to your ROM from 185. I just wiped system and dalvik/art + cache and after a day use it's all good. Thanks a lot

UpdateVersion 5.1:XOS Chameleon V.2.0.0 (5th port - 5.1)
How to flash?
- Make sure you have Android one partition table (Flash Android one rom via SP flashtool).
- If you don't have a custom recovery, download from here (works well, recommended), or TWRP 3.0.2-1 for Hot 2 from Hovatek and flash it via SP flashtool.
- Reboot into recovery (Power off your phone, wait until it vibrates, hold power button + volume up button simultaneously)
- Wipe everything except SD card; wipe Cache, Dalvik /art Cache, Data, system. Internal memory is optional.
- Flash XOS rom, and Xposed framework then reboot. (Xposed framework is recommended for xposed torch to work with hardware buttons)
- Alternatively you can try dual boot patcher to flash rom. (SD card doesn't work when using the app with MM roms)
- If you are flashing a newer version of the rom no need to wipe anything. (wipe only in this case if you faced problems).
FAQ
Code:
[B]- Can't grant permission for an app?[/B]
Turn off all the draw over other app options.
[B]- Enable Magazine lock screen?[/B]
Go to Settings/Security choose Magazine lock screen.
[B]- Notifications not showing on lock screen?[/B]
Go to Settings/Sound & notification/Notifications choose "when device is locked" then "show all notifications content"
[B]- How to uninstall an app from launcher?[/B]
Xlauncher is a lil bit like EMUI launcher; apps present on home screen, what looks like an app drawer is just a small app to arrange apps from A-Z. So breifely uninstall app from home screen.
[B]- Status bar is not tinted on some apps? (Fixed on version 3).[/B]
This is not a port bug, XOS rom is just like that.. use flat colored bars xposed module to change it. (not needed now)
[B]- Can I use/enable USB OTG?[/B]
USB OTG is not supported by defualt in Hot 2 Android one kernel, we need kernel support for this feature to work.
[B]- How to remove fingerprint app from the app drawer? (removed on version 3)[/B]
You can't. It is inside settings.apk ; it needes to be deodexed and modified to remove it, so just ignore it.
[B]- Is flash light toggle/kernel gestures are going to be fixed?[/B]
No, it is impossible without kernel support.
[B]- I can't find a specific feature/this feature is missing?[/B]
Well, I only port the rom, I do not add features to it, if you can't find a specific feature you used to have on another rom, then simply it is not supported in XOS rom.
[B]- Night mode in camera force closes?[/B]
It is not supported, do not use it.
[B]- I found a bug, can you fix it?[/B]
Give me a logcat of the bug and for sure I'll try to fix it.. So logcat or it never happened.
[B]- When some bugs will be fixed?[/B]
Don't ask for ETA please, some bugs are hard to fix and other are unfixable.
~ Happy flashing ~

Flashing XOS rom on Android one
This is for people who do not want to flash infinix rom, or they don't know how to, or they found it a difficult task!
Some informations:
Android one has a small system partition approximately 1.80 GB, so when you try to flash some roms it will fail because of low space.
Usually the workaround for this is flashing infinix rom via SP flash tool (select format + download) it will change your phone partition table giving you a bigger system parition.
Even though this task is very easy, I get so many messages from people complaining about bootloops, or they couldn't flash infinix rom and they soft bricked their devices.. some other flashed infinix rom via custom recovery and they wonder why XOS bootloop for them * facepalm *
Workaround for you
1- Download XOS rom
2- Unzip it
3- Delete META-INF folder.
4- Download META-INF from attachments, unzip it to rom directory)
5- Go to system/app and delete some apps to free some space, for example you can delete (Chrome, Hangouts, Youtube, & userguide.. etc)
6- Make sure that system folder size is less than 1.80 GB (1.70 or 1.60 GB just in case)
7- zip the rom back
8- Flash it, it should boot.
Notice: current bugs in the rom cannot be fixed, I won't provide further updates.
(One more reserve).
Good job bro!
Gonna share it on my blog.

I didn't test SD Card actually, I flashed the rom via Dual boot patcher and it breaks SD card on MM roms.
Wait for someone to confirm that it is working, if it is.. all I've done is changed the mount point in the updater-script for flashing boot.img
Edit: SD card confirmed to be working.
Which recovery should we use?

1- USB on which mode? MTP or USB storage? what windows you have?
MTP mode doesn't work on windows 10, USB storage only.
2- it doesn't seem to work, didn't find a solution yet.

Because you didn't follow the instructions, are you on Android one rom?
Android one rom has small system partition
Android one system partition = 1.82 GB
XOS rom size = 1.88 GB
It will fail if you try to install it on Android one rom.
You need to flash Infinix rom first via SP flash tool, it will modify partition table and you will have bigger system partition.
And do not flash root, it either bootloop or doesn't grant permissions.

The ROM installation takes a lot of time(abt 20min). I almost aborted it. I tot it had freezed because it stood still at 'formating system' but later continued.
The bootloop occurred when I tried rooting the ROM so don't root it yet after installation.
-Please how do we fix the led notification bug?

Smooth ROM
This ROM is by far one of the best for Hot 2, well done.
As with most of the ROM you ported, rooting is unavailable , so might be difficult to fix led bug on our own.
SD card works.
USB mode works...every other thing except LED.
Rocking this at the moment.

Unfortunately, people on facebook reported that it bootloops after flashing systemless root, and normal root is not working; it doesn't grant permissions
I'm looking into it, but not sure if there is something I can do.
The ROM is good with a but, could it be possible toake it easy for everyone to use cos most ROMs work well on android one so flashing is nothing.
But when one had to revert first to infinix ROM meh its not very encouraging knowing d data lose involved.
So if its possible to bring it down pls try.
Or make d infinix ROM flash able on android one...
