[KERNELS][KLTEXX] UKP - CM13/AOSP M Unofficial Kernels - Samsung Galaxy S 5 Unified Development

UKP - Unofficial Kernel Patches
NOTE: All of the kernels on this thread are unofficially supported, therefore, the original developers do not give support for these releases.
Why are the unofficial builds created?
Most of the custom roms have different bootclasspaths or other differences in their roms, therefore, the custom kernels do not boot, or are extremely unstable.
Kernels Information
Boeffla E - These are the experimental boeffla kernel builds.
Boeffla S - These are the stable/stock boeffla kernel builds.
Fusion - This is the Fusion Kernel
Stock - These are the stock kernels, in case of emergency (for restoring)
NOTE: Fusion Kernel is not longer maintained, but it is the most feature-rich and stable kernel in my opinion (based on my usage and experience). The only bug that it has is the camera looking weird/having colour issues. In order to fix the camera bug you have to enable/disable the HDR in the camera app (this will fix the problem until the app is reopened).

I'm still doing tests but all the roms/devices mentioned in the first post should be supported.
I'm now patching the last kernels.

Thank you for your work...
Will wait for all roms ready to start testing... [emoji6]

Please note that i haven't tested all the kernels...
/EDIT: Most of the Experimental and Fusion Kernels do not work...

@komarov27 would you have plans to make your own kernel someday as in my honest opinion I would love to see a mix of fusion and boeffla, fusion for the higher OC of CPU & GPU also fusion has faux sound capability where boeffla doesn't also I noticed kernel auditor shows weird CPU scaling of set Mhz/GHz like if you set 300mhz as min it doesn't stick it scales up and down.
These are just a few things I have noticed also I find Fusion to have faster charging.

I can confirm that boeffla27-experimental does not boot in kltespr. Flashes fine, once you reboot the phone hangs in the Samsung boot screen, then reboots into recovery.

Internal SD isn't mounted at all.
I lost my internal Sd...
Vold.fstab and build.prop looks alright
Ideas?

Yes always
found a solution, its ramdisk, it is setting up PHONE_STORAGE as emmc on init, but in my kernel it should be SECONDARY_STORAGE as emmc.
^Will you integrate your kernel with your rom and also put PDroid in it?
Sorry for having so many request.
Flashed the kernel, no problems encountered so far. Good job and I like the fact that there are just 2 files that get flashed. The boot.img and wireless.ko, easy to revert without leaving back files. please keep it simple and clean. Create extra zip for all tweaks if you want them instead of bundling in kernel. Thank you.
after an hour of testing in have to say it works well, ill try a full day with it

is it connecting to hidden wlan networks?
had problems with other 3.x kernels.
edit: it works!

Please upload the source code!
This is not for bullying you, but kernel is released under GPL license which means you can modify it but HAVE TO provide the source code, otherwise it would be illegal and a copyright infringement.
And that wouldn't be nice in xda

I'm guessing that this is based on Slim kernel (the only kernel now that is on 3.0.80 is Slim...and his emphasis on Slim ROM) with his modifications done in Nexus...but free of OC and UV...and as I already stated before, codeworkx already modified vibration so that it can be adjusted, plus it is based on Gnex...so what makes this exclusive? It can be tweaked with Trickster MOD even before you "added" this feature...but one thing that interest me is the new RIL...so far it is only applied on the omap4 common device tree: https://github.com/Ryuinferno/andro...mmit/0641411c681ca67a26b212538955e9e08206216d ...but not the t1 kernel source...so all AOSP ROMs should have it regardless of kernel...

source is the same for nexus (cyanogen source ) i update to 3.0.80 with cherry--pick by fancykernel github....
It is still not sufficient...even your Nexus kernel repo is not updated...you must at least point out what is the difference or cherry picks...keeping a Linux kernel as proprietary software is illegal...

Thanks!
Color V6 has wash out colors, V5 was much, much better!
Could u make a CM11 franco r203 kernel with the color profile of V5?

This is the bundi's profile as requested by community!!! You can change the color using Franco or trickstermod app...
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
The colours are really washed out in latest build. Colours from Franco r201,19th of January are way better IMHO. Back to that build I guess.

Hmmmpff. I like it if it works good out of the box without using any apps.
Can I use some init.d script that apply the colour profile of V5 in V6?
What are the color settings of V5?
Edit;
I've searchd and I made changes to my franco.Kernel init.d start-up configuration. It has now the HALFBREED color profile. See the link in my signature (with explains) or download here: http://www68.zippyshare.com/v/45008995/file.html

If I apply this settings I don't get the same colors as your V5 kernel..

Wow, thanks for this. Going to try it out now.
Holy cow @ colours. I was on stock ROM, then CM with stock CM kernel, and then I installed this thing. My eyes went bbbbbboooooom. Of course continue this thread! And also add 2 more badass Governors. Interactive is not enough and you know it...

Sorry mate, all I could find were those Governors for download: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/10911-co...e-interactivex-and-smartass-v2-cpu-governors/
Also, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663809 check this to see which Governors and Schedulers you think you should add.
If stopping the thread means also stopping the kernel then don't stop the thread.

Dirty flash cm11...
Color V5 is out...
Real iPhone 5 color profile is out after lots of testing and tweakings...a very true blend...
@soorajj It doesn't work.... I flashed CM11 on top of my existing CM11 without wiping anything, then flashed your Semaphore iphone5-color kernel and wiped cache and dalvik. Bootloop on "Google". Doesn't even show boot animation.

That's a little hard right now.
Can you share your steps? I don't think I'm doing something wrong... It didn't even work when I wiped everything...
On the other hand, your franco kernel works just fine... Can you explain it?

In order to flash CM11 stock kernel, I need first to download it. And, as far as I know, and I'm a new user on those forums, I cannot find it on these threads on XDA. In my humble opinion, you shouldn't flash CM11 kernel. Just make a .zip file that does all the work itself. What I'm talking about is NOT to do the following(which happens here):
1)Flash stock CM11 kernel
2)Launch a rocket
3)Do something else
4)Flash YOUR kernel
4)???
5)Profit
Instead it should be:
1)Flash soorajj kernel
See where I'm going?
How does Franco kernel boot up while Semaphore doesn't?
Hmm so this automatically changes the color profile to iphone5 color?
or do we have to apply it through kernel apps like fauxclock or trickster mod?
Thanks

Hi Bauner,
Just when we thought things were starting to get a little slow around here (although thanks to JackEagle and his recent Spirit release) out comes another Rom maker.....
All roms for our Note are, as always..... TRULY WELCOMED!!!! thank you....
So will this have any bells and whistles, as found in other KK roms... such as Driving Mode and what not...??
Cheers, Lister
Many thanks for the new ROM for Our device. If you could include features list really appreciate..

Have been looking for a new ROM to flash over the weekend. Guess I'll give this ROM a shot and post a video review of it :good:
Hi bauner, congratulations for the great work. Everything works fine but I have a problem with the play store. I used pa gapps mini modular, can depend on this if you see a 16-bit type? Thanks again
