I think that one or two people tried flashing the oeminfo file in this topic ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/c432-oeminfo-flash-twrp-t3384903 then flashed the stock rom mentioned here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/stock-rom-dload-file-p9-eva-l09-b136-t3382818 to try and turn their phones into UK ones. I get the impression however that it didn't quite work. Better ask in the oeminfo topic

Yes these are for P9 Plus.
I put the Update.APP in folder named "dload" on SD card and rebooted holding VOL UP and VOL Down. I didn't try it through twrp

No Google Play on this ROM. You can always install it yourself through HiApp
For Mega link it needs the "key"

Google apps are not working, I am able to install apps from hiapp or through apk however after installation apps are not getting opened, so I want to rebrand to Asian (Indian) version (LLD-AL10). Can any one help me in re-branding phone?
Hi, I did have same probelm as you before, you may install a gms installer to activate google account as well as google play, as I'm a junior user so ca n not post link to you, you can search following keyword " 應用匯 gms 安裝器 " , it 's a 55M apk file, current version is 1.2
I believe final solution would be install a india rom to replace it, awaiting other fan to update if resource is available.

c185 firmwares always support google apps.
For flashing I plan to use the tool in this thread:

Read it carefully, it has been used to flash several Huawei devices.
But so far I didn't get the oeminfo of this firmware so can't flash it because my device is from different region.

I would like to change my phone from LLD-AL10 to European firmware, so I'm interested is there a way to use zip file from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/development/honor-9-lite-update-zip-lld-l31-8-0-0-t3767781 and can I simply put this file on my phone and run update or it's not that simple ... Still the same for me. Buy a LLD-AL10 version, with no B20 band (800mhz). Is it possible to install LLD-L31 rom (stock) ? And does anybody know if it the same hardware (to have B20) ?

Does anybody knows if I use Firmware Findert and download latest OTA update for european version (there are three files - update.zip, update_data_public.zip and update_LLD-L31A_hw_eu.zip), can I use these filese somehow to rebrand my phone or do I risk to brick my phone if I force these update to install?

Why not install a generic AOSP instead of using firmware from a different region?. Honor 9 Lite is Project Treble supported. As advertised on XDA Features, AOSP brings out more juice from the device. This is just a recommendation as I haven't tried it yet, but it is on my to do list after the return period for my unit lapses.

There seems to be no issue with the camera on AOSP, it's just that battery suffers a bit compared to stock EMUI. Again, this is based on the XDA review, so I cannot really vouch on how the AOSP-GSI performs on Honor 9 Lite. But if you're really looking to flash stock ROM from another location, there's no harm done in trying this one first to see if it is to your liking.
As for flashing firmware from other regions, read here (google translated). It's an alternative site I use to supplement the info I obtain here in XDA.

I've recently spend a few weeks in China and have discovered that most phones in the US are behind the times, so I decide to pickup a Huawei P20 Pro. Not having to done my research properly (totally my fault) I discover many items are not install on the Chinese version of Oreo such as Google Play Store and etc. So I was wondering what is the simplest was to change my Chinese firmware to the Canadian version. I have not done anything to P20 Pro yet, did not do any OTA upgrade yet.
Model - CLT-AL00
Build Number - CLT-A00 8.1.0.111(C00)
EMUI - 8.1.0
Android 8.1.0
Not looking for anything special builds or anything, I just want the simple Canadian stock firmware version of the P20 Pro loaded and the simplest way. Thank you in advance.
You can install all the Google Apps with the apk (sideloading). Mine is working good (chinese version in Brazil), but just without some Google features that I don't use (like swipe left to go to assistant, for example).
You need the bootloader unlock code to install a new firmware, but the Huawei stopped to give these codes a some time ago. You can search the forum from time to time to find if they restarted this "service".
Search for funkyhuawei.
I think they have all the services you need.
You will have to pay for it though.

I already download VPN Proton but I'm not sure how to upgrade. Always get same message "Can't upgrade outside network".

i was in a similar situation and after flashing other region firmware my play services stopped working throght hisuite
i knew what i had to do but all the softwares are paid to flash firmware .
so finally i took help of ministry of solutions and he helped me to convert my japanese model to L09 and now i m getting all the updates and even updated to emui 12.0 for 30$.

i know its a late reply but recently i got in a similar position so after trying all the possible ways i ended up taking help of ministry of solutions and he covnverted my model to L09 and now phone has updated to L09( nfc wont work)
for 30$. i knew how to solve this issue but all the softwares like sigmakey and chimera tool they all are paid and expensive so this seem the best possible way and i was in india so he did that with a team viewer the whole process took like an hour.i hope it helps somebody
