Hi all. I have phone with 7.3.2.0 Chineese Stable firmware and locked bootloader, this firmware has locked EDL. Is there any chance to downgrade it untill I get BL unlock permission? I was trying to downgrade to 7.2.13 using updater but got Can't verify update error.

[Q] LOCK BOOTLOADER on OREO (not relock)

Hello,
I was on B360 Oreo.
I unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP, used MAGISK (16) to modify boot(ramdisk) partition, flashed it and got ROOT.
Then I flashed HYPER KERNEL.
Now i realised that custom kernel gives me nothing special in term of battery life (after 7 days) so i flashed back all stock partitions (BOOT, RECOVERY, KERNEL).
Now I am on stock, but with bootloader unlocked.
So i can get updates, but no ANDROID PAY.
The TASK is: How to lock bootloader. I mean LOCK not RELOCK.
ON nougat when i used the HWOTA to debrand my device the device was automatically locked after the change.
Now on HWOTA8 i flashed all three parts of the B360 full ota to get the bootloader locked, but still unlocked.
I think to erase and flash OEMINFO again, but i am afraid to brick the device by that.
Does anybody know how to make forced update that the bootloader will lock?
@Blackball maybe?
Actually the only way i discover to do this is, go Back to nougat, and the update vía firmware Finder vía proxy while you had your bootloader locked after rebranding again, Cheers brother
will try to update via firmware finder from b360 to b365 full firmware. Will see.
How this went for You?

From beta to stable

Hi, I have a mi8 International (global rom and locked bootloader).
I have installed the global beta 8.9.20, is it possible to flash the last global stable (10.0.2.0) ???
Possible. Get var = 1 means no anti rollback. Anyways, since your bootloader is locked, just download package and flash via updater select package.

I did not say it was not possible. I was suggesting that it will not brick as updater will do a check and not allow downgrade if u flash via updater
I would like to do the same, tell me if that works.
I problems with notification
You can get from global beta to stable without problems
Getvar anti 1 is NOT anti rollback. You can flash to any version you want without a worry.

Question change Vodafone rom 12.0.5.0 ( RKSEUVF) TO 12.0.5.0 (RKSEUXM )

i have to wait the normal 168 hours to unlock my bootloader so my question is, can i download Rom 12.0.5.0 (RKSEUXM) and load to phone memory and update Rom 12.0.5.0 (RKSEUVF) via recovery before unlocking the bootloader, i guess it may reject the update as it has a different ROM reference , install ok, or just brick.

Hi,
Can you please explain how did you manage to debrand this phone? Which ROM you installed while debranding? Did you loose your data?
Will be grateful for your help and tip.
Thanks

My Note 10 5G bought from Orange was on RKSEUOR and I have successfully flashed RKSEUXM and locked the bootloader in the process and everything is fine and I got the update today from 12.5.1.0 to 12.5.3.0
