Still unable to use snapchat when xposed installed? - Xposed General

Is everyone still having that problem? I suppose yes, but I haven't heard of it for a long time so correct me if I'm wrong.
Did you just do the install xposed after sc or how did you get around this?

We don't know what the problem was. Your only chance to get it fixed is to install the framework again and then take a logcat. If you can't access apps like CatLog due to the bootloops, you have to use "adb logcat > logcat.txt".
By the way, it should be easier to recover from a bootloop, check the first post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053

Xprivacy on Lollipop with locked bootloader?

Hi all!
I wonder if anyone managed to install Xposed & Xprivacy on Lollipop? I tried to install xposed, flashed it through the recovery, restarted the phone which was apparently working fine. I installed then the xposed module manager, it was saying that xposed was installed. I restarted the phone and this time I had a bootloop.
So my question is, has anyone succeeded?
Thanks

No luck... even with unlocked BL, Root, and the new Xposed 3.0 alpha3 (xposed-sdk21-arm-20150426.zip)...
Exact same symptoms. Everything else works, but only xprivacy causes the loop...
Anyone else have luck?
Well the développer of xprivacy said that it triggers a bug in xposed and that it cannot do anything before xposed gets updated (which can take time as the xposed developer only works on it as a leisure)

[Q] Xposed and cataclysm, System-UI FC

So I know cataclysm is long since dead. But it does seem to still work with the latest factory image. Surprisingly enough. But something about flashing the latest xposed as well causes a System-UI force close loop. I know it's a long shot, and I've google'd it to see if anyone else may have asked or found an answer...but is there a way to get them all to play nice with each other? Aside from flashing an old version of xposed?

Cata and Xposed are Both changing the framework. You Have to count on issues or under the hood problems. Because the stock Android also had changed the framework.

This thread is for anyone to posted what Xposed modules you use and if they are or are not working. It will also be a thread to let others see who are new to xposed or havent used it on their s7 edge yet what is and isn't working as well as identifying what modules should be avoided because they are causing problems with the phone ex. lag, freezing, bootloops, other. please comment what you are using along with your experience and any news related to xposed and or modules. i will (when i have time) edit this post with what i have installed what does and doesnt work as well as posting what others put here. of course there will be a working and not working section that will be updated when things break or become useable. hope this thread helps some people out and saves some time and trouble.

rootcloak im unsure as i have uninstalled it (didnt need it) and xtouchwiz i hacent retried. something (maybe a setting in xtouchwiz) was giving me some sim card pop up that wouodnt go away on boot and wouod make me reboot to recovery to do something to ky sim that just failed and the pop up would be there upon boot. i had to odin to get rid of it. it happened 3 times and each time it happened i had rootcloak and xtouchwiz installed. since removing both i hacent had a problem. so no i didnt and i believe one of them caused the problem. if anyone is using both or one or the other let me know what you do and dont have enabled or disabled in each module.

I appreciate your feedback. It would be inaccurate for me to reply with mine as I use the unlocked firmware. But in this case, the results were the same more or less.

i have since installed xtouchwiz and have no problems i turned a few things off that were on by default. i turned off fake system status and the disable scaling feature that was on. it works. rootcloak i have also reinstalled but i don't think it works. im not sure, i know snapchat has problems logging in if your rooted and i am experiencing this problem with or without rootcloak so i believe it is not working but i could be wrong.
Hi, I am new to xda and Android as a whole. So I have rooted (SM-G935A) and I can't find any way to install xposed because TWRP doesnt support the snapdragon variants. Do you mind telling me how you did it?

Xposed and Snapchat?

Has anyone been able to get Xposed and Snapchat to work together? Rootcloak appears to be defunct and I haven't had any luck with ANRC. I found a module called surrogate that looks like it may be able to do it but I haven't the technical knowledge to use it.
Has anyone gotten it to work?

Well, there's a thread here on that very topic, with over 400 posts and nearly 270,000 views...do you think that might answer your question?
Link? I can't find it on mobile for whatever reason

Yes I'm using xposed and snapchat it is possible.
I don't remember which version that was, but snapchat added something to prevent any user to login if xposed is installed, but there is a workaround!
First of all if you are going to logout often you might want to download Titanium backup ;p
1- uninstall completely xposed by flashing the correct uninstaller.zip (xposed app doesn't need to be uninstalled)
2- once xposed is uninstalled and your phone rebooted, login into snapchat you shouldn't get any errors
****
(Facultative trick, pretty useful if you encounter any problems or if you are going to logout of snapchat)
2.1- once you are logged in into snapchat, open Titanium backup and make a backup of snapchat app and data
***
3- when you are logged in into snapchat you can reboot in recovery and flash xposed framework again
If after reflashing xposed framework, you are somehow logged out, and you did make a backup with TB, you don't need to uninstall xposed again, just restore the data from your snapchat backup and there you go !
If you have multiple accounts I recommend you to use Titanium backup, make a backup for each account you have and when you want to change account restore the data of the account you want to use.
(Simplest way would be to use Parallel Space from Play store to allow you multiple snapchat account )
Hope this helps, if you have any questions just ask.
If this helped you a thanks is appreciated ^^

see this if you want two snapchat accounts on the same phone
did this work?
I've been banned as well for 12 hours.
For years (since 2014) I've had no problem with Snapchat, Xposed, and root. Even up to Oreo. Across devices and ROMs I just always restored Snapchat's data and all was good. Backing up whenever I updated to keep in line with Snapprefs module. Never logged out and never had to log in.
As of a couple of months ago Snap logged me out of all of my installations. Given that I multiboot on three devices that's over a dozen ROMs (addict that I am). Tried removing everything, reinstall, and restore data. Doesn't work. Just keep getting logged out.
Don't have a clue what my login is from so long ago. Didn't use it much anyway so called it quits. Still, a bummer.
