I'm on Vodafone and the package hasn't been released yet. I'm also on Android 6.0...

Same, I think all P9 variants are on 6.0

Question for Droid 3 owners.....

I have asked this on another board or 2 but what system version are you running? I have seen a different version on a store demo unit that is different than mine so I am curious if we all have the same version as owners.
Here is mine.

Mine's the same as you have listed.
all version and build numbers are identical in my phone to the ones you listed
Ditto
ditto, my is the same as yours.
Same as OP again. The demo unit might have shipped a little early so they could set up a display, missed out on the final revision.
Hmm...didn't think about that....is it possible that they have another version purely for demo?

Go get a picture of that page on the demo unit. I'm very curious.
My numbers match the numbers in the OP.

This site's information is tabloid quality at best. They just make it up as they go along unless they are copying content from another source.
Samsung policies are stupid.... they wont release MM until S7 is out.

yea it seems like that, it's kinda annoying. LG G4 already getting 6.0 across europe, and G3 will get it soon enough.
Sammy will roll 6.0 after S7 reveal, which could mean Feb-march, Android updates is cancer, it takes way too long till we get one.
Sorry about the link ....

I am on APB1, and not sure if these are going backwards or if compatable for APB1. I am going to do some research on them and will post my finding here.
I WOULD DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE DOWNLOADING AND ODINING SOMETHING YOUR NOT SURE ABOUT.

AOJ3 is 5.1.1 USA
AOG8 is 5.1.1 USA
AOL1 is 5.1.1 USA
If someone uses these please report back if they are good stock firmware downloads. I hope they may come in handy.

How are you determining that AOL1 is USA? I did a search and the file comes up as being for China. Have I missed something?
Thanks.
or, ya know, you could just download them where everyone else does http://samsung-updates.com/
which is a more trustworthy site and organised a bit clearer.

Really old firmware?

I picked up my P9+ yesterday and the first thing I did was check for updates. None were found, however I seem to be on a really old version. Can't seem to find any information on this, can anyone comment?

I've seen that thread, that's why I realise I'm way behind. Just wondering if anyone would know why it's so old and why there is no update found?
Updates differ country to country, and maybe ever the network carrier.

I see, so B127 in the UK/Vodafone may be the equivalent to B161 somewhere in Europe?

Possibly. Or The numbering system and update frequency is altogether different and they are late in updating compared to a more active Huawei community lets say in Germany. There should be a Huawei UK facebook account which should keep you updated on that.
