Root ZTE Axon A1R Fido version? - ZTE Axon Pro

Hey guys, new here.
Any root for the base version of Axon A1R from Fido?
Thanks

King root has nothing yet as far as I can tell. I just tried again today but no go. I'm wondering if the bootloader need to be unlocked.....

If so were can I find it I don't see it anywhere on xda
there is no bootloader unlock for the tmo version.
you can find root tools in the original dev section.
have had this device for 2 days, and i've rooted and upgraded to 4.2.2 in that time,
what enabled me to do this is reading through the threads here, try it, it works wonders.
I use this tool for my other device. work good on Lenove Aseries. Got file from China web.
Tested on Xperia Ion, J , Samsung SII and some Lenovo Aseries. hope can work for u. but only for root

Root At&t xt1097?

Is there a way to root the at&t xt1097 variant? I don't care about the boot loader I just want TiBu and my xposed again. Any info or help would be appreciated!
Nope. Only the versions with unlockable bootloaders can be rooted. If you are within your return window, I'd suggest returning it and picking up the Pure edition instead. I'm using the Pure on AT&T without any issues, and I'm happily unlocked and rooted.

Any luck with root using chainfire's autoroot for the at&t model? My moto x 2014 is arriving in a week and It would be a bummer if I can't root it. I came from using a nexus 5 with root and custm ROM installed.

Nope, still no root. If root is that important, then return the one that's coming and buy a Pure edition. That's what I have and it works great on AT&T. And I'm unlocked and rooted

Root for 5.1.1 out yet?

Hey guys, I haven't really messed with my phone since I got it and it updated to 5.1.1 or BOG7 a couple of months ago. I was wondering if anyone is working on a root method or if there's one that's out. Thanks for looking

if there were root for 5.1.1 it would be very big news. there may be a new root exploit eventually discovered someday but until that happens you should just assume there will never be root again
