Hi everyone....i've followed your tutorials about rooting , instaling customs roms ect ect , and everything was okay i've installed many of cutom roms (cm10. aokp..ect) but finnaly i found in your site guys a stock rom named "V20E_HybridStock-Release01" , i instaled it it works perfectly but in the tutorial they said that i should install the "kernel" :fingers-crossed: ..but there is my probleme , when i installed the kernel my phone stay on the Lg logo and don't start and when i try to go to the recovery mode (volume up + volum down + home + on/off button) nothing happens the recovery mode don't show !
what should i do to enter the recovery again and re-install my stockrom ?? pleaase hellp !!!

problem getting into recovery mode . i'm tryng to install cm 10.1 from ics
first i have lg p970 running ics , rooted , clockworkmod recovery installed .
after pressing volume down + power button together or pressing g key nothing gets me into recovery mode .
ps. i tried rebooting from rom manger " reboot into recovery " i got my phone frozen with " security error "
i used smart flash tool to get it repaired again .
any help plz !!!!

you can't have CWM on official v30.There is some workaround , but there is an easy way.Flash v20 patched with CWM and then install CM10.1 or other custom rom
Yes this might fix my troubles too, i kept going back to stock v10 then i used the lg updater for both updates till i was at v30 and then installed cwm. All the times i kept getting that stupid security error..
how stupid :') i also didnt read anywhere about it?? thanks for the reply tho.
I got the job done using a flashed v20 to get into CWM and flashed other rom from there.. Thanks

can't boot into sw update mode
Hi.
I installed CWM on my LG with official v30C rom.
When i tried to do a backup I got a black screen with LG logo that says security error.
Now I my phone does't boot.
When I press power button i get the same black screen and the phone turns off after a few seconds.
Any advices how to unbrick my phone?

use smart flash tool and flash v20 with Cwm then do any thing u want the black screen happend becouz our Ics still bootloader locked but not 100% there is a way to unlock it but dangerous if ur ob bricked willnot back to live again...!!

I cannot boot into sw update mode - i removed the batery and connected the usb cable, pressed power+ vol down and nothing happens.
With the battery on, even if I press power + vol down it doesn't enter sw update mode - i get the error message and it then turns off.
SmartFlash doesn't detect the device so I cannot flash another ROM.
Im NOOB at this, so maybe I'm missing something.

Just hold VOLUME UP! then plug in the usb cable, DO NOT hold the power button!

my phone won't boot after flashing clockword recovery
1. i flashed the recovery, after this i try to flash some something it works , AFK , and when i come back , my phone it off and won't boot .
2. i search on xda and i find some threads with a problem called "deadboot"
3. i can repair my self ?

hmm, try:
1. battery out and in, then restart. or
2. volume up + homebutton + powerbutton for 5 seconds, or
3. if you are on stock and just CWM, try to flash stock recovery: LINK, or try to flash TWRP: LINK. of course only, when you can boot into the download mode : vol down + Home + Power
4. maybe try the whole thing here: LINK (again, only when you can boot in download mode)

hello, I tried to unlock my bootloader because I was going to install orionlp rom but after flashing custom recovery my device turned black.
I tried to put my phone on but it didn't work...
I tried this guide to unbrick my phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61808443 but when I try to put my phone in downloader mode nothing happens when I press the top vol button before puttingit in the usb. Normally there should be an image that shows you are a downloader;

I Think That Our Buttons Are Broken Like Volume Up Or Down Or Home Button Even The Lock Button.... Try to Use Pc To Boot Your Phone And Enter The Recovery Mode.

you are posting in the wrong section to get help for your model. .
Try: (from your PC)
adb reboot recovery - for recovery
adb reboot bootloader - for download mode
adb reboot - normal boot(perhaps this works)
OR TAKE IT TO SAMSUNG CENTRE IF ITS HARD-BRICKED.
Show as if you do not know anything SO they won't excuse you for repairs
I Flashed a wrong recovery mode in my LG Marquee and now its bricked ,
Now its only showing LG logo and power off and again power on this continues,
Also i can't go to recovery mode now,and pc is also not detecting my phone ,PLEASE HELP ME
