Are you on stock rom?
I got the widget working as standalone app (you can install it as a normal app) anyway, try it please.
I'm looking if it is possible doing the same for the camera.

I am using moto g 2015 XT1550 a few months ago I screen was broken and I replaced that and it was not genuine. As when I flash any 6.0 base ROM touch does not work from starting , from language selection ,but volume - + and power key works .when I flash L.P based ROM it work perfectly.

The only thing I can think that could cause this issue is the new touchscreen firmware. Since around a month on CM we use the lollipop touchscreen firmware. If it still doesn't work on latest cm nightlies, sorry I haven't other clues.

To remove it simply extract the zip and find the files that you see it the system partition and delete them using any root explorer or es file explorer will do the work.

can't find meta-inf folder but deleted the other two folders. is this the only way to delete a flashed zip file? are there any other ways?

So here you go...
You need es file explorer make sure you have root grant root access and mount R/W for system partition.
After that head to system/app directory and delete the folder, 'Command-Center'
Next you go to system/etc/permission and delete the file named, "com.motorola.commandcenter.library.xml".
And finally go to system/framework and delete the file named "com.motorola.commandcenter.library.jar".
Now reboot your device you will find that it has been removed. If you are still facing problem then mention it to me.

However I wish it would store pics to external storage... There looks to be an option but its greyed out, all permissions are granted. Anyone know a possible work around?

Sorry but that is not possible.. because the SystemUI.apk must be decomplie.... and this is on the Device not possible..

Install the ClassFinder_1.0.apk from Attachment an start it. Select the needed Apps and go to SAVE. Then the App saves a classes.txt to /storage/sdcard0/ClassFinder/ .... this you can open and find your requestet Infos!!

To make an App for modded the SystemUI.apk rigtht on the device is not possible because the SystemUI.apk must be decompile.... and this is not possible on the Device. ..... sorry

im using apk manager v5.0.2
with the latest apktool.bat and jar
the original apk size compressed is 2.6mb after i recompile its 1.6 mb compressed, when i decompress both file they both match up perfectly as far as i can see

tried that as well, same thing happens. every time i hit the home back or recent button my system ui crashes, i can open up the pull up menu without a problem, when i pull the spen out the side dock pops up with no problem, cant figure it out. have tried with different methods for compiling and decompiling apks. cant remember what rom im using but i downloaded off xda its a deodexed rom. build number jzo54k.n8000xxcll3.deodexed

Ok then your APK Manager is not work with TW ROMs ... you need to install the framework-res.apk and the twframework-res.apk !!
Test the UI in Attachment!! Flash the ZIP over CWM...
And for decompilie i use this

no luck, grrr i have tried everything even pushing it with adb, the systemui keeps crashing, when i replace it with the stock systemui everything runs fine, i even installed the latest 8010 you have posted on another thread and build a new one and pushed that one and still no luck :crying: also i noticed the screen turns on by its self for no reason with the modified systemui

Please use the latest N8010er Build N8010XXUCMA5 deodexed from me. After flashed the ROM reboot the device.. then reboot in Recovery and flash the ZIP from this attachment!

no cigar, flashed it from cwm and this one doesn't even load at boot. I browsed with root explorer and its in the /system/app folder but its just not registering. but thanks anyways man i appreciate the help

Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly for me. I do get it to work, but then the systeui.apk crashes every few seconds. Do you have an indication of what could go wrong, or at least where do you think a mistake is made?

well, guys...we FINALLY finished the multi window mod for P6800 owners (no P6210 for the moment). Below i will provide the link to the rom that u will need to use as well as a link to my original thread with more detailed instructions. I advise that u please at least read the UPDATE V5 section of my thread over in the Tab Plus forums...although the entire first post should be useful. Let me also add that yes...this mod may remove other mods/tweaks that u have installed or that come preloaded with your rom. Over time we will manage to get the best setup for everyone...for now i would advise using the stock rom.
UPDATE V2: This new version doesnt offer any new functions unfortunately...i just threw together another zip which includes all of the apps that need to be replaced so any new flashers wouldn't have the same issues & questions
UPDATE V5: I finally got around to uploading the new version of the mod for your device...please read the V5 section of my orginal thread in the Tab Plus forums. I have linked to a zip which includes apps that will need to be replaced due to force close (almost all stock samsung apps)...also be aware that i MAY need to create a separate version for the P6210 so please test and report). For those of u using the "sky high" rom by @UpInTheAir then u already have the latest version included so no need to flash this....and to everyone else who has not flashed it yet what are u waiting on go try it out!
Install Instructions
1. Install rom using CWM or TWRP (recommended)
2. Edit your build prop by adding the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 at the very bottom (may also need to change dpi)

I've found the issue with the split screen bar on our device but i'm still trying to figure out the settings i need to fix it(not sure if its even worth the time...lol)..what dpi is your tab set to?

yup... those 2 bug... i cant even remember now what i do to solved it... i think i'm going to compile the one i use along with the multiwindow and released it....
The mod seems to be working in erobot v1 albeit not as well as the phablet version by the looks of it.
The windows can be resized, even though the grey bar isnt there and there doesnt seem to be the ability to have them side by side as they appear to just be floating windows but it works!!
edit: changed the DPI to 213 and it works as it should now but i have no menu buttons, will try some other DPI's

after changing to 213 the status bar went to the top and there are no buttons at the bottom, so no back button etc.
Ahhhh that one... you need to edit your build.prop as per instruction on 1st post.

I had done that so not sure what happened.
I've tried the xposed app setting module on the internet browser and it still doesnt give me side by side. I dont see anything that would relate to multiwindow itself :/

with 160dpi tablet mode and the build.prop edited this is what i get, no floating window just side by side. Without the build.prop edited it is just the floating windows.

Look at the 'permissions' icon in the security app, turn on the root switch.
The thing is the chinese apps are part of the rom, they're not .apks you can just delete and expect things to function well, It is a chinese firmware localized for english users

It'll be fixed in the next version-up.
If you notice when opening a folder or using the task manager everything in the background goes black; It's not supposed to be like that, I only released this as a preview for folks who have never used MIUI and it is technically stable with 2-3 minor annoyances

install GAPPS for JB
Install Google Contact Sync Adapter
Set Disable HW overlay in developer options to get silky smooth scrolling.

I don't think it can see external SD, I'm not sure why; I updated the OP with a Blur and maybe SD fixed version
I am on the 12/25 & no navi buttons but for only the menu button on the left.
NVM it fixed on 1st screen out.
Does anyone Know how to get a SD swap on this Great Rom?

It's not a glitch, that happens during Xiaomi setup wizard, they really don't want you to exit it lol

1) Browse to root directory and then to /system/build.prop and open in text editor.
2) Add the following 2 lines of code at the bottom of the file and save.

3) Reboot and start adding new users or guest users.
Note:
1) Every time on adding a new user phone will soft boot.
2) A new menu option "Users" will appear in the settings menu as well to configure user accounts etc.
3) You can click the top right corner of your screen, i.e. on the profile photo to quickly toggle users.

Please make sure that you are attempting on Lollipop OS and not on KitKat.

Bt cant add users neither can use guest...
When i click on user picture in notification drawer header instead of showing guest option it shows my contact...

Tried this yesterday..
Bt the phone went in boot loop as soon as i tried to add users...
Then i factory reset phone from recovery and then it boot again without new user as i formated system....
Maybe this wont work on our phones...

Is your phone showing as going to softboot when you add a new user?
Because this is what is supposed to happen. It will show the bootanimation and when it starts up you get the new user which can be switched now without the soft boot happening again.

Bt after that phone is stuck at boot animation...
I kept it as it is for whole night...
Bt still phone didn't boot...
It messed up everything

Working in Canvas A1 with 5.1 stock rom
Well, my canvas A1 is supporting multi-users account whereas I see everyone is blaming the OP. Just install ES File Explorer and go to the path system/build.prop and edit it with ES Note Editor and then reboot. Multi-users will be enabled.
Yes , its actually a little buggy when you operate from the quick toggles. Rather set it using the "more settings" option and reboot. This solved the problem of softboot for me.

Please follow the steps correctly. It is recommended to use ES File Explorer and its build in text editor as we need to have UNIX eol terminator and not DOS terminator which might be causing the issues.

No Saurabh K, it is not buggy at all. Consider the situations where soft boot occurs: adding new user or when selecting 'Start over' on Guest account. This is because the phone needs to load the profile as it came out of factory hence the softboot. If you set the user once it will never softboot on that particular user even while switching it from the quick toggle. The same for the guest user, that means if you click 'Continue' rather than 'Start over' it will not softboot because the phone does not need to present the factory settings. I hope its clear.

My bad... I was vague in describing... I'm using Redmi 4x.... The ROG companion app shows white screen and instantly closes... Tried in Miui 9.6.5, Dot OS 2.5, AEX 5.6 and Bootleggers ROM 3.0(unofficial).. But, the camera app works for normal, HDR and pro modes(video recorders crashes the app)
If boot Caused system UI to crash
If not,the phone is bootloop(restarting the phone is the only solution)

How can I move them to a different folder while still letting the app detect the wallpapers? Right now the magisk module didn't work for me and the controller kept crashing. Installing them normally worked like a charm just extracted them and installed.
Only issue is it doesn't detect the rest of the wallpapers. Although it didn't detect them when I installed it through magisk too. Any resolution to it?

Hi,
I just refined the module on the repository and added the function you requested: once you download the update and install it, a small menu will be accessible via any terminal application like Termux for example (root access rights required).
Once your device is restarted, all you have to do is launch the terminal and type:
su
ASUS-Style-Suite-Mover
You will then be asked to provide a new location where the wallpapers will then be moved to (the validation of the new location is done by pressing ENTER).
I therefore advise you to browse your folders via an explorer to the desired folder, then copy the full path to paste it into your terminal (if your temrinal supports this function, termux for example allows this).
As for the application crash problem, not being the developer of the application in question, I only update the apk if a new one is released. If any time an update would be released as a ghost, feel free to indicate the link, I will update the apk file as soon as possible.

Hey thanks for the quick response. I'll try this out in some but the issue with the app crash is only while I install the magisk module. I extracted the apk files from the module and installed the apps normally and there wasn't any crash at all.

Doesn't do anything when I type in commands

Camera App is very good please fix the following bugs
1.Exposure is very high when pics are taken with flash
2.In fixed torch is on and taking a pic, the pic is taking with flash off
3.flash is not firing when focussing ( even in dark )
All bugs in camera is associated with flash only, please fix these bugs
