What is your device?
If it works in legacy camera API most probably 4K is not supported. Some native apps may offer 4K, but most probably they upscale the captured frames to 4K.

Thanks! What exactly is the issue? What do you mean by "full resolution"? In photos or video?
You may also send a mail to support from the app's Settings->About->Feedback & Support in order to check device's camera characteristics.

If I'm not wrong the device utilizes camera legacy API.

Great App! But sometimes the time stamps are not correct. For example a selfie I made this morning was dated in the year 2038. The next Picture had the correct date but the time was two hours back (6 a.m. instead of 8 a.m.). The third Picture had the correct time stamp (date and time).

Thanks for your feedback! It's a known issue in devices that supports camera 2 API. Actually it's a bug in Android api. It will be resolved in next version.
Actually, you may test it, if you want, using the beta version.

Footej Camera 1.1.0 is now available on Google Play!

Which devices support the shutter speed and ISO control?

So, the problem with the time stamps still exits in the new version. Last picture was dated in 1970...

LG Camera App for all Roms

Hi,
I make my presence again with the LG Camera App for all roms. It was not my work. All credits go to sefnap for modding the LG Camera app to work on all roms. It also has a lot of features like the Lenovo Camera App and one specialty is that this app has video light functionality too. Has a minor bug that the dual camera doesn't work but rest seems fine here. Hope you enjoy

VR panorama not working
I downloaded LG Camera specifically to try the VR panorama on PACMAN rom 1113. Tried with at 13 mb resolution and I get a green screen in the area where the camera image should be. It seems the app is not reading the camera inthat setting. All other settins seem to work, excpt dual camera, as stated in op.
Lenovo Camera does not have VR pano ou similar, AFAIK, and honami camera does not work on Pacman rom, so, I'll have to keep looking:silly:
Lenovo camera was way better! Sharper pictures, this one is only better than stock one but worse than all others ... go with ProCapture Pro

Are people really sure about their "this cam is worse than the others" ideas, and so? I mean, how would an app make the camera better? Other than direct JPG compression, then I dont really see how. For me its more about the features of the camera. This APP FC's alot for me but once I got to start a recording, it seems to have a pause & continue, while recording, feature. Something I'd really like and something I don't understand why isn't in the stock Sony cam app.
NEW: LGCamera Port for Android 4.3 ALL and i9500/i9505
NEW: LGCamera Port for Android 4.3 ALL and i9500/i9505
Hi Guys,
I have compiled the latest LGCamera App and its supporting depedancy libraries to make it work on Android 4.3 General ALL and i9500/i9505. This is a tested package and All the features are working as expected. Device to Device features might work or might not work.
"BSDgeek_Jake_LGCamera_Port_AndroidGeneric4.3ALL_i9500_i9505_CWM" to be Flashed from CWM recovery.
"BSDgeek_Jake_LGCamera_Port_AndroidGeneric4.3ALL_i9500_i9505_MANUAL" to be extracted to '/system' and manually set permissions to '0.0' (root:root) and '644' (rw-r-r). You might want to use "Root Explorer" to achieve this or your prefered explorer which has root capability.
NOTE: Before doing any modification to your device, please Remember to take Backup for your Device through CWM. Although i have tested this package thoroughly and found no issues BUT I am not responsible for any issues which might arise.

The Camera Hardware is the Cake but Software algorithm is also part of the story. Through software pre/post-processing algorithm one can achieve the best out of the existing Hardware and its almost close to the Best it can get. Filters algorithms make it more Professional.
Few of of the Apps which i see has this potential and excell in Image processing. OEM Apps i exclude due to lesser configuration options.
Holo Camera PLUS (Best i have seen)
Camera360 Ultimate (this has got some excellent imaging capabilities)
Snap Camera HDR (Perfect for HDR Imaging)
Camera FV-5 (Extensive Configuration Options, This is only for PRO Users)
Camera Awesome (Good to Have)
I hope i answered yours... Cheers.

You sure did answer, thanks. Also, regarding your fixed LG Cam you posted in one post earlier, I downloaded the manual install version. I'm gonna assume the "lib" files are crucial to makes this camera app work? There wont be trouble, by changing the lib files, with other camera apps or so?

CyanogenOS Camera Next [Support Android 7.x.x]

Hi Everybody!
Android 7.x isn't support original Camera Next app, but l searhed and l found a edited Camera Next apps in OnePlus One forum pages. l tried a lot of apps. It is working very good both unlock bootloader and lock bootloader. l tested both rooted and unrooted.
This app supported all effect and panaromical. Slow Motion is working, but l tried only 4 second. Maybe it work other times goodly too.
Note: l use this app selfie only as night mod If you look at examples, my Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/ziranta/
Yes this somehow looks like a big step.
I'm wondering if there is also an notificable improvement on locked devices.
Edit:
I tried it on my locked one and the original camera app still produces better pictures on front and rear under bad light conditions.
But for unlocked ones thumbs up!

sorry for off topic , can sb please send me the latest update of camera v2 apk of .200 fw? thanks a lot
Besides the image quality and the point that a 3rd-party app can shoot 23MP pics, what are the settings that the Cyanogen camera next app offers, and that are not already included in the Sony app? Eg. for instance is there aperture control etc. ?
This is very interesting. Why? Here's my fairly scientific take.
We think that the poor low-light performance on unrooted/unlocked phones is caused by the phone's image processing software.
Rooting removes some Sony proprietary imaging software eg X-reality.
The OP's images are much improved, suggesting that this third-party app is able to access unprocessed image data.
To test this it would be a real help if the OP could let us know if the images are also improved with the Sony camera app?
What does the quality option do? I'm confused as to why you wouldn't want 100% always?
Also for locked bootloader is the picture and video quality the same as stock app?
Sent from my Xperia z5 using Tapatalk
I used locked bootloader firstly, but I didn't take quality which waiting. I want to try Cross Device Z4 Cam Port V4, because l used this on Z1 and l taken majestic photos.
Unfortunately Port V4 didn't work. I start trying other camera app. Only this one is satisfied me. Camera2 API is looking unlock some functions. But manual camera apps didn't work. Maybe works currently on Marshmallow.

.....the only thing that does not work is:

60fps/1080p on video shooting: stuttered video

For your info guys. The 60fps is actually 30fps, only the camera distributes it as 60fps, because in fact the camera apk is meant for Pixel devices. For 30fps+ recording we'd need a tweaked software. There was a guy who enabled the 60fps and even 120/320fps on Nexus 5. The developer of LCamera (search on github).

60fps (only 720p) is real. Not is slowmotion, but video @60fps.

Does it mean that it records 60frames pet second? It's a software limitation, that could only be enabled through reverse engineering.

I have doubts too. but if you can sense the difference of 30fps and 60fps when recording, it has a very good chance 60fps working.
Better put the video on PC to check it, or MX player.
you are right.... even if the properties of the file is assigned 60fps, the video is not fluid seen on pc
I took the same video at 30 and 60 fps ..... They have the same kbps!

Any tried the Nokia 8 with the Google Camera App?

As you guys probably know, this port of Google's Pixel app has been doing the rounds on XDA and various users report much better quality photos with it on Snapdragon devices.
https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-updated-zero-shutter-lag-xiaomi/
Has anyone tried this on the Nokia 8? Does it work? If yes, could you post some sample photos and comparison with Nokia's own default camera app? I'm especially interested in low-light situations.
Thank you
yes, hdr+ is giving me awesome photos.
sadly we need to edit media_profiles.xml to add profiles for slow-motion and HFR.
can't alter the system for now as there is no bootloader unlock (thus no custom recovery or root).
Thank you.
I mostly care about HDR+ so that's great to hear.
Have tried the Google camera app and I believe at the moment I get better results. The Nokia software algorithms need some work I think.

This was a good post to get the history and to learn about the different versions.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/modded-google-camera-hdr-60fps-video-t3658552
I'd say start with the 3.8 (linked in post above, without any letter after it) version but 1.4-version will probably be fine as well.
Note to others downloading the file: The Android Download-app doesn't open APKs, you need to install a file manager app to open it.
So next question, which are the recommended settings in the app? In the 3.8 version there are tons of values you can select. HDR+ isn't enabled per default.
I tried on Nokia8 and I think no one notice that it has small color dots and line in every photo that process HDR at the bottom of picture. I tried every setting and still can't figure out how to remove. It's also appear in skip24ftlb's photo.
Seems ok the shots come out slightly better than nokia stock but the bottom of the photo has these blue and red bars (looks like some graph lines) on every photo that you point at a bright source of light and reduce the brightness on screen to absolute minimum. Happened on all photos that I took of the sunrise with heaps of bright orange clouds.
It stickout more when the bottom half of the photo is darker down the bottom.
Cheers

I tested with 1.4, 1.5, 3.7, 3.8, 4.0 and all of it happens. So i think there are no other options to avoid this.
Can someone share some pictures?
There are a lot of versions of GCam modded.
On HTC U11 topic, there's a large thread where many users are debating which is the best.
Can someone take a look how does it gets on Nokia 8?
Mine still not here. Maybe on the end of the month.

Some mods I have no idea, things like QHD 60fps is not supported on the Snapdragon so they wanted to keep parity.
I used the App but Camera on my Note 8 force closes.......or do i have to buy this app? Seems to come under the same name S8.....?

Partly right, Exynos 4K struggles around 38fps from what I've seen.
App is not available here in Germany. Can you upload the APK? Where is the zip?

i heard its due to SD cards not fast enough to store the video buffers and suggested to use Phone memory while recording high fps but i could be wrong
Can you enable more fps in slowmo?
Thanks to @zeroprobe im now up & running......:good:
4k in 60 fps is not possible?

Just 2K QHD 60fps for Exynos, sensor not up to it.
I thought the Exynos was able to handle 4k @60fps.....but i just going by rumour rather than factual information....
