Need Chinese EVA-AL00C00B168 / L19 ROM dual sim - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

Hi guys
Been playing around with the various roms here. Currently have what is supposed to be the L19 B138 firmware installed but it registers as L09 on my device (I suspect the reason is that it's not currently sold in that market).
While the firmware is great for Google integration it's lacking in dual sum management. The Chinese romantic allows for switching primary dims very nicely... not like the one I have now.
So if anyone has the stock Chinese rom to hand for the AL00 varient (3GB/32GB) please do share.
Thanks
Ps I've tried all four roms currently across the threads.

Milamber could you backup and post your stock OEMInfo file before you do anything and post it here.
I never backed mine up and aI need to restore it
You could use the SRK tool ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/development/tool-srk-tool-huawei-t3369797

I can do this tonight for you, in about 12 hours. I have downloaded the tool.
EDIT: I tried, but it says ROOT is required and I do not want to ROOT my phone.

Ah. OK. Thanks anyway. You can unroot your phone just as you can relic the bootloader after unlocking it .

Works great on my C470! Really happy with it, EMUI 4.0 is definately better than 3.0, really happy with it Xposed also working great.
Only funny thing is that it says "Country: Thailand" in OP, but you cant set your region to Thailand because the option is not there lol.
Which region is this C470?
I think it's either Cambodia or Singapore, not sure about it. Never know what region to expect if you buy a phone in the ASEAN haha!
İ need to c433b180 model please hellp me
Thanks sir

You need to be rooted and do some modifications in the system files to enable multiple users. You should Google it, there are a few guides out there on how to do this. Don't really recommended though, theres this bug on some apps that you have installed on both users. If you open the app as a non main user or guest it will not load and instantly crash, and if you go back to your main account it will suddenly do the same. If you reboot the phone it will be uninstalled, together with all the data. It happened to me with Line, and lost all my conversations because of that.
Also, I have no idea what Keyguard is so I am not missing out on much XD

So it's not really compatible with B180? Sad, no suppprt for our model around the web too.
I upgraded from B180 so it should work. Just make sure you are on stock recovery, unroot and have the original ROM on your device first before updating.

Any issues with Xposed. I assume you deodexed the rom for it to work.
I came from C470B180. If you want to go back to stock recovery you should extract it from the rom of the original firmware of your deice, and flash it with adb.
No problems with xposed so far, and yes I deodexed. The xposed for emai topic mentioned some trouble with bluetooth specific stuff but it's all stuff I dont use so for me everything works fine.

Since it don't support b20 this means the radio modem in is different than the ones that support b20, it is hardware related unfortunately

I recently bought the NEM-AL10 3GB from fasttech (non-european shop)
I could change (most of) the language after a factory reset (Changing Android language did not change EMUI language before resetting). However, some of the pre-installed apps (browser etc.) cannot be uninstalled without root and remain (partly) in chinese.
One of those apps is the Huawei App Store... So no Play Store installed by default. But you can install the PlayStore additionally.
Up to now, I was not able to root the phone to uninstall the pre-installed chinese apps - let me know if there is a solution.

Thanks for your reply.
However, the Guide (from what Druger said and from my experience) seems to work only for the 16GB/2GB version, not for the 32/3GB.
At least, flashing custom recovery did not work as intended (got bootloop, and had to flash stock recovery).
Might be because its an asian phone, though.

[Guide] [VNS-L21] Switch to c185 and install b360 Nougat

Notice: This guide is only for people who already know how to flash files/roms and have a basic knowledge of how to do things around.
Change your carrier version:
If you are on Nougat unlock bootloader and flash Revolution Recovery TWRP / If you are on Marshmallow unlock bootloader and flash Meticulus TWRP.
Download OEMINFO here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2bSDn-aRfzRM1NFdHk0R0N2Mm8/view?usp=sharing
Download VNS-L21c185b150 update.zip here: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1164/g104/v67049/f1/full/update.zip
Extract it and put UPDATE.APP in dload folder on SD CARD.
Go to TWRP and flash OEMINFO then reboot.
Use 3 button method to update
You are done! Now you changed your carrier to middle east c185
Install Nougat b360:
Flash Meticulus TWRP
Download update_data_full_VNSL21_hw_meafnaf.zip
Download update.zip
Place both files on your SD card
Without reboot flash first update.zip then update_data_full file
Now reboot
Wait a few mintues and your phone will boot with c185b360
Do you have also the OEMINFO for L31, or is it the same?

It's not the same if someone has for VNS-L31 they can post it here.
PS: All links in this thread are especially for VNS-L21.
Will this work for me in the UK?
Is the difference between VNS-L21 and VNS-L31 just the sim card thing?
Does FB messenger force close?
Battery drain?
If these answers are to my liking I will follow this guide straight away!
Thanks .

How did you fix it and which version ur running...plz I need help
I just got my phone, a VKY-L09 and its running B195 ...
I only seem to see B123 to latest B160 in stock firmware available.
I even tried using the aforementioned firmware finder.
Further, it seems that most of the roms (custom or otherwise) are biased on firmware many versions older.
I really want to root my phone but without a stock solution to flash I'm reluctant to do so.
Anyone have B195 stock or know where to find it?

It's because we're using the Canadian ( and probably be American) variant. Our build number is higher, but European builds are better. Try anything that's L09 B160, battery should improve

I highly recommend the Genesis ROM by @Blackball , it's really great.
It's what I'm using for now until I can get a working AOSP build created. Hopefully soon, I've been making progress

It seems I screwed up my data partition in my system and cant get the phone to make calls or the camera to work. Not even my backups get things working again.
Was thinking that If I need to flash stock or redo my phone fm scratch, may as well flash Genesis.
Can I just format data, wipe everything and flash the rom even on 192 base?
Or do I have to de-brand and install the 160 base to flash Genesis rom?

Can I just format data, wipe everything and flash the rom even on 192 base?
Or do I have to de-brand and install the 160 base to flash Genesis rom?

You can but he recommends rebranding to European L29. If I still had any FunkyHuawei credits left I'd hook you up but I've already used them

Thanks for the offer.
I tried to install it without re-branding and everything works except themes and phone info is messed up but other then that, everything seems as advertised. Thanks again for your advice and good luck with your AOSP build!

Hello, can you give me the VKY_L09C109B100 please I can't find it on internet and I really need it to save my phone, thanks
Is it normal ?? ? Where are the others roms ? Before this, there was B130, B160 and few others, did Huawei deleted all the links ?

CLT-L09 C432 Dual Sim

Hey guys, is it normal for a CLT-L09 C432 to show as dual SIM? I only have one IMEI where as I know dual SIM phones have 2 IMEI numbers.
CLT-L09 is single sim. Looks like the phone you have has been flashed with the firmware that was ment for the CLT-L29 .

Odd, it's definitely a single sim European handset. Where did you get it? Pretty sure someone has tried to convert it to the dual sim model.

I've owned it for ages. Bought it brand new. I have tried to flash before but it failed and then erecovery downloaded the firmware. Is there a way to make it back single sim setting?

Did you update to pie using FirmwareFinder? MAybe you selected the wrong firmware file? I would try again using:
CLT-L09C432E5R1P9B163 (9.0.0.163)
CLT-L29C432E5R1P9B163 (9.0.0.163)
Look for 199274 in the v field and use the link for that firmware

I didn't. I updated through OTA to PIE. Which file do I download? I'll try forcing update to see if that solves it
