p7-L12 with EMUI 3.0

Hi all!
I wanna update my p7-L12 EMUI 2.3 to EMUI 3.0.. and i don't see where is this UPDATE.APP in this page emui .com /plugin.php?id=hwdownload
Only i found L00, L05-07, L09 but not L12...
Anyone know about this?

First you must change the variant of your P-12 to P-10 with EMUI 2.3. There are some people who have already done this change, I also had P-12 installed in my cell phone, "Latinoamerican version" and I took the risk of changing ROM, it is very simple, you can find many roms to download, I started with B126, then B-133, B135, B136, B138 and B602 which works with 3.0 EMUI. AFTER changing your variant rom from L-12 TO L-10 I recommend you to read this thread that explains to update from 2.3 to 3.0. It is not possible to talk in spanish despite that I am LatinoAmerican, but the thing is this forum is only in English and one of the mandatory rules to post here in XDADEVELOPERS is to write in English, otherwise the information you put here will be deleted and you might be banned. No pierdes nada, antes mejor pues el L-12 esta muy desactualizado y al pasarte a la version L-10 antes se actualiza y va más rapido y estable, te recomiendo buscar la ROM con la versión general sin operadora. Be careful, never install ROMS with L-00 variant since these roms are for Chinese versions with double sim card.. Good luck and remember read first before performing any change and do it at your own risk...

i decided download this because not are associate to enterprise telephony.
Comming soon, i'll install this UPDATE.app but for HiSuite program and next i'll install B602...

copy update.zip (don't extract it) in your sdcard/dload folder and then open updater app and choose update from local

You do not need to uncompress the FOLDER UPDATE.ZIP, just put it in the /dload folder and UPDATE with ACTUALIZACIONES Y ACTUALIZACION LOCAL del propio menu del celular, no lo hagas por los 3 botones porque cuando lo instales te saldrán errores. The zip file must be 600mb.

i don't get any updates and i'm still on EMUI 2.3 so i decided to change to global version p7-l10
could you help me please and tell me what i want to do this ?

I'm im l12 variant an change it to l10 with b133 you can try the same. download the update, extract the update.app and put in sd root \dload, then just apply the local update from update menú.

Just to share a few tips for some L12 owners that purchased B119 devices (in my case also arrived unlocked). After try almost all ROMs unsuccessfully (FAIL message while verifying package) I tried a VENDOR CUST (from B133 package) and after a really long formatting phase it end the process (with a FAIL message but at the end). Reboot. After that the only ROM that worked was a B119 of L10 (I used SPAIN one) and it end the process (again with a FAIL message at the end). Reboot. After that I chose B133 (general) and it worked (again with a FAIL message at the end). Now I'm just waiting for B621 download to install. P.S. I have only found that NFC doesnt work.

Just a quick question. If I make a backup of my current modem with TWRP ( currently I am running the att rom on my sprint Flex and just want to update to KK) and flash it after I update to the KK rom will that work?

I personally used my twrp backup of LS995ZV7 Modem. You could try that but probably it will not boot. Or just show "radio off"

Hi friend, i did all but i lost my modem backup, can you upload a backup of your modem?, another question, i cant flash stock of sprint rom cause flash tools said me to isnt same models, have another way to return to sprint rom?

Si, vi que eres de honduras, me pedia clave de desencriptacion el archivo, pero te cuento que ya lo pude solucionar, gracias, ahora tengo otro problema, que la v20 no me da señal, tiene apagado el radio (la busqueda de señal), no logro encenderla de ningun modo, ya modifique varios archivos y nada, logro que me deje elegir tipo de redes (cdma,lte,gsm) pero no puedo hacer que las busque, me salta error inmediatamente y con el *#*#4636#*#* me manda a las caracteristicas del telefono, y me deja ver que el radio esta apagado pero no me deja prenderlo, le doy click y no hace nada, tendras alguna idea?, le restaure la efs pero igual nada, le puse una carpeta de simunlock y nada, posdata me da problemas la rom con las conexiones del usb, como que a veces no reconoce el celular la pc (solo con esta rom) y segunda posdata: como es por alla? nunca eh salido de Mexico =). Gracias de antemano. Por el momento eh vuelto a la version de justin pero no me gusta porque no me funciona bien el knock on, solo lo hace en el centro de la pantalla y con kk lo hace donde sea.

D950 use towelroot install TWRP Once in kk and you loads the backup of my modem. If you do not charge the backup never grabs modem signal.
And I also have the problem of including usb to charge no q restart . I 'm working on that I think could be the kernel.

El proceso es regresar a stock 4.2.2 usar el unlock y asegurarte q coja señal gsm.
Despues instalas la rom 4.2.2 attsprint de justinswidebody.
Aqui haces el upgrade a kitkat d950 con el tot y flashtool.
Ya estando en kk d950 usas towelroot instalas twrp y le cargas el backup de mi modem. Si no cargas el backup del modem jamas coje señal.
Y yo tambien tengo el problema de los usb inclusive para cargarlo hay q reiniciarlo. Estoy trabajando en eso creo que podria ser por el kernel.

I´m using another boot img and charging and mtp are working normally now.
Testing NFC it turns on but I have no other phone to test it with.

It was write in two lenguajes, but both speak spanish, for that cause i wrote in spanish and englis, cause i preffer explain in my mother lenguaje but repply on english for other users, search on middle paragraph its wrote in english.

I am also testing/replacing the system apps with the G3 ones so "we" (sprint) users can

Xperia Keyboard not working in Huawei P9 ... ¿any ideas?

Hi all! first of all, sorry for my english...
I always use xperia keyboard in all my android devices, but it didn´t work at P8, and don´t work either in Huawei P9.
Most of versions get an error at the end of the installation, but some other versions (older) success installation, and everything seems to work fine, but when you need to type, the keyboard just don´t appear on screen.
I don´t know what to do to get it working right... and I´m used to this keyboard (T9, in fact), I don´t like other keyboards...
¿any idea of what to do? thanks !

Los ports tienen sus problemas, cada fabricante hace sus "personalizaciones" que hacen que un port pueda ser desde muy fácil a muy difícil de hacer, yo te recomendaría contactar al usuario que porto el teclado para que te ayude, o buscar alguna otra forma, por ejemplo usando un apk.
PD: En ingles no se usa "¿" para abrir las oraciones, solo se usa al final.
Porting an app have few problems, each device have some small differences which make some of them easy to and in others need some experience to get the port works. I will recommend you to contact the user who already port the keyboard an ask him for help or find another way to install the port, using an apk for example.
PD: There is not "¿" to start a question.

It's important for VoLTE and modem power saving and signal strength stuff to choose the right region.
But other regions should work fine.

Oh , i see..... and any region you recommend for my country?, my carrier last update was 52.0.A.11.32 (Android 9) and i want Android 10 (I used to have an Xperia XZ3 but it was stolen u_u )

The sodp custom ROM project wants to achieve an universal volte support.

Soy de México y uso la Custom GEL y sin ningún problema. Igual si buscas ser root busca una que sea .618 de preferencia.

Gyroscope not working [HELP]

Hi,
I updated the ROM to Chinese ROM v3.25 and then did a rollback to Global Version ROM. Now the device is unable to detect any sensors.
Has anybody faced this thing. And can anybody help me fix this issue.

Actualice mi celular a la ROM china y después la regresé a la global pero el giroscopio ya no lo detecta, entre otras cosas como el grabador de pantalla tampoco aparece, algunos aspectos en la cámara como aloe motion, 8k, todas esas cosas desaparecieron cuando lo regresé a la ROM normal, a que se debe ese problema? O existe otra ROM que no sea la china que pueda devolver todo a lo normal
