Zuk Z1 Sandalwood version - Zuk Z1 General

Hi guys,
I'm interested in buying a second Zuk Z1. I have seen there is a new version, with 4GB RAM (http://www.xda-developers.com/xda-external-link/zuk-announces-the-sandalwood-version-z1-for-247)
Do you think it is compatible with NucleaRom, CM13 Nightlies, etc. ?
Thanks!

Maybe you get in contact with the developer?!

Radio FM: Spirit2

Yesterday I root my Zuk Z2 Pro trying to install Spirit2. Today I installed Spirit2, with su permission, but I can't make works this app properly. I receive this message: ERROR: Tuner API did not starts on stop. This devices may need a kernel with a working FM driver.
I try to uninstall the app, and the su permissions with supersu, but no take effect. I tryed too some versions like old versions of this app.
Anyone can helped me? Thanks.
PD: sorry my english, my bad ;D
You need kernel support for the fm radio to work.
When the fm-driver is not installed it will never work.
Are you sure that the phone has a physical FM radio chip, and just not activated yet?
If it has FM chip, that's great news then! :fingers-crossed: But even the zukmobile website gives unclear informations for both Zuk Z2 and Zuk Z2 Pro:

Zukmobile is a 3rd party reseller.
Well guys, my phone was stolen last saturday, so now I don't need worry about RadioFM, FM Chip and nothing related with this phone. I'll try to recover it, but I don't believe it. Thanks for the support and the help, I come back to my Motorola Moto G 3 T.T.

Thanks for the information, i thought itwas an official Zuk website.
I checked again now and saw the revised specs of Zuk Z2 and Zuk Z2 Pro on GSMArena. According to them:
Zuk Z2 seems to have FM Radio,
Zuk Z2 Pro seems to NOT have FM Radio.
If the info is true, i'm glad that at least one of them has FM Radio. I still think of buying Zuk Z2 if i can't get a black Mi5 Prime for a good price (it lacks FM Radio, aarrgghhh!)
I have a htc one a9 hiaeuhl whit lineage 14.1 its working perfect but since i have the lineage 14.1 rom my fm radio doesn't work anymore, i have instal Spirit2 working good butt now gives the error kernel fm radio driver is missing.
What can I do to fix this problem?
Sorry for the bad English
Compile kernel with fm driver. However if there is no FM chip than even that kernel will be no help.
Hello,
The fm radio was working fine on stock en even whit lineage so de radio chip is on board, but now Spirit2 gives the error en the stock radio is also not working.
What can i do to fix this?

Zuk z1 multirom

Hi everybody! Did anyone just find a working version of multirom for our Zuk z1? Do you think that the oneplus one version will work with some adjustments?
Would love to have MultiRom for our ZUK. It's kinda funny that ZUK's hardware is so similar to OnePlus 1 and X and still we don't have a number of things OnePlus users enjoy

Purchasing Mi 5 for Custom Roms?

Hi all,
I really like the look of the Mi 5, but have been reading of various bugs and poor battery life on custom roms. Just wondering what the consensus is on buying this phone with the explicit purpose of flashing it over to Lineage or and AOSP based rom. Cheers
Hii Joseph
Even though its a great device, custom rom support for mi5 is really poor. Buy nexus/ pixel or oneplus 3 since they got great custom rom support.
Marshmallow ROMs are absolutely fantastic and bug free. It's the nougat ROMs that are buggy.
I'd say buy it and manage on marshmallow until nougat gets better.

I must say that even the latest unofficial LineageOS 14.1 build is more stable than MIUI8 ever was for me (Yes, I'm aware that MIUI8 isn't stable either, but it has a few months head start in beta). But yes, if LTE B20 isn't a requirement (no info on when/if that'll be cracked), then absolutely.
LineageOS on my mi5 is almost as good as on my Nexus 5.
RR is an amazing ROM for the Mi5. At the moment I started using it, I was amazed. It has great performance and tons of custom features.
Yep is no need to install cm[lienageOS] becouse when you buy Xiaomi, you do it for miui os. Which is verry modified system with a lot of ability and funcionality.

Using this topic as an oportunity to ask to those who uses Custon ROMs is any camera that can be compare to MIUI official camera app? SnappCamera perhaps?

I felt no real difference between MI an the most recent LineageOSbuild. I know it's still inofficial, but I use it perfectly fine as a daily driver. Nothing to complain at all.
Most recent builds can be found on shade's mirror https://mirror.shade.sh/mi5/
bgcngm will announce official builds as soon as they are available.

Where can I download ZUK Z2, ZUK Z2 PRO and ZUK EDGE Android 7.x OFFICIAL ROM?

Hi,
I have to do few tests on ZUK Z2, ZUK Z2 PRO and ZUK EDGE (NOT Z2 as I wrote in the title by mistake) with Android 7.x t but I don't have the hardware, so I need to download the ROM and use them.
Do you know where I can find the official/stock ROM? I've been googling and surfing XDA for a while now, but I can only find modified and unofficial ROM.
Your help is appreciated.

Mi5C compatible to Mi5 and Mi5S ROMs?

Hello,
i have a question. Its not easy to buy a grey Mi5 or Mi5s in germany. White or gold is aviable, but i dont want them.
I found the Mi5C with the Surge S1 CPU.
I read a tread from indea, they sayed that it is possible to flash twrp an lingea os 14.1 (capricorn) on the "C".
Is the the C "rom"compatible to the other better Mi5 phones?
If yes, i would buy a Mi5c to flash lingea or better AICP.
Greetings Kullino
NO, very different phone and hardware.
go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5c for support and rom
