Netflix overload on 12/24/2012?

Netflix quit working on all my devices! Was working earlier today. Too many people using it right now? :^)

Don't they (Netflix) do any kind of capacity planning? Weren't their servers tested under load? Geez!
Kids want to watch Christmas movies today because it's raining in So Cal, and they can't go out.
I'm glad I have some DVDs lying around.

Interesting how the faulty Amazon Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) component of AWS in Ashburn, Virginia only affected Netflix, and not Netflix's major rival Amazon Instant Video service (formerly known as Video On Demand) also hosted on AWS in VA, huh?

I'm wondering whether any 3rd party manufacturer will sell battery case attachment like these for Xperia Z. I think should be easy for them to build a custom one for XPZ since there are contact points for charging on the side.

yes would like to have these untill they are ultra slim and no fancy bright leds and they use the dockinng ports to charge is always good and people would buy it even if its slightly expensive as long as they use good materials to compliment the phone looks and feel * which I highly doubt

You mean something like this one? Cost me less than 20 Euro delivered here in Oz, pretty high quality and 2,800mAh. Fits the phone perfectly and uses the external power pins. Perfect!

Here's a test of the power pack. I would say that 2,800mAh is optimistic but it can sure charge the phone once. Good to see that output being close to 1A, too.

Will they unlock?

It will interesting to see if HTC will provide access to the bootloader.
Honestly, if you root this device, it will be a decent phone. It has ver similar specs to the sensation, and for the price a rooted version will get you by for awhile.

Bootloader unlock? You bet, right through HTCDev. Now we wait for a custom recovery and root.

I really hope this phone does well. I like the Note 2 and DNA, but heaven forbid if all the "cool" phones have to be the encroaching tablet size territory. With a custom recovery and root, I am seriously contemplating having the First be my main driver and sell of the Note 2 and Optimus G.

I got it because I had a nexus 4 but I was always shuffling it around because of the size plus the battery is garbage. This is so easy to use one handed and the battery lasts about 7 hours of screen on which is almost double what I got on the nexus. I just want root the stock ROM is working fine for me and I surprisingly like Facebook home so far and I didn't really use Facebook much before.

This strikes me as an ideal phone for CyanogenMod. If audio quality reviews come back positive, I might just buy.

Ok what device do you have I tested it on Nexus 5 and Moto Q. Thank you for letting me know there is a problem so I can look into a fix.

Ok thanks for the report I am working on a solution because the devices I use don't show an error , I am thinking it might be a conflict with how the AD SDK in the app. I will try something else to fix the app because I don't want uninstalls. When I update the app I will post again hopefully today in a couple of hours.

Ok the app has been updated and there should be no issue. Please update the app via googleplay and tell me if it's working correctly.

Few issues with Nexus 6. Need answers.

Just last week I bought a Nexus 6 Device.. Very impressed and perfect for me..
Everything is okay. But I've got few issues with it..
1st:
Is there a small hole available in upper-right corner of Camera lens? Have you also got a hole in it like me?
Is this a microphone?
2nd:
Did I got the Turbo charger with my package?
Basically it takes 1 hr 20 mins to charge completely from 0% to 100%.. Is it okay?
3rd:
Weird sound, while locking-unlocking the device.. Is there anyway to change that sound?
4th:
Without root can I overclock/underclock my device?

1st: yes we all have that hole, it is a microphone.
2nd: that sounds about right for the charger
3rd: not sure what sound but you should be able to turn it off, definitely can on a custom rom, not sure on stock.
4th: no but you should root anyways, takes all of 5min and releases the inner Nexus

Yes this worked for me to get rid of the screen lock sounds. Find it under Settings; Sound & notification ; Other sounds.
