I'm using Nova Launcher. Maybe that's the reason why I can't find the setting to change the lock screen background. Any idea?
Gallery>Select a photo>Three dots on the upper right>Set as...>Lockscreen wallpaper. Hope i helped
Lockscreen background can AFAIK only be changed with stock Launcher.
Make it standard Launcher, change background, then change back to Nova.

I use CM QuickPic gallery app. You can just go to an image and select 'Set as...' > 'Lock screen wallpaper'.

change your wallpaper image you ike to kayguard_wallpaper without extension or upcase, move it to /data/system/user/0
work with all rom i tried
But you have to wipe cache/dalvik after that. Otherwise the old background remains.

I think i read somewhere in these forums a way to change the motoblur launcher icons, i want to changethem because im currently using apex and i know it is maybe faster that motoblur and others too but i like the quick settings page of the motoblur launcher a LOT.
I find myself sometimes swiping right to access it only to remember im using Apex.
So is there anyway to change the stock motoblur icons?

Been reading a lot of this - seems like this feature on the stock 4.2.2 build 243 is not there.
Is there a way to have the notifications such as sms, missed calls etc on the lockscreen itself. JB is supposed to have the notificaitons available from the pull down. But when the screen is locked, the pull down donesnt work either..
Any way of doign this without loading other apps like widget locker etc??
I dont know but I used Nils(there are better LS-widgets like this). Its a widget, you place on the lockscreen and see notifictions..
If it is possible without apps I would love to know it

I have a Problem I can not set a widget to my lockscreen. I use the standart lockscreen. I have de-sensed my viper. I tried it in different ways but I can't find the Problem. If it helps when I klick on the plus in my lockscreen it says application not installed. Which application is this?

You should forget the normal wallpapers and try live wallpapers
I'm using "google meter"

Emui appears to disable status bar color picking from current apps, like Whatsapp, youtube, etc...
This is so annoying! Really !
I tried to find option but I didn't, only the trick that I told you
They should solve this in the next emui edition

I'm on CLT_L09 8.1.0.161(c432), Huawei has removed the option to run a 3rd party launcher (eg Nova etc) , is there a way around this for a non-rooted phone?

I'm on .161 as well but it crashes every time on any you use any launcher apart from stock, see my pic. I thought Huawei disabled the use of 3rd party Launchers until 9.0 is released?

Nope, it's not just nova, it's any 3rd party launcher. No matter what I have tried eg uninstalling or clearing memory, it still doesn't work. Might have to try a factory reset which sucks
You have to have screen lock security turned on (pin/fingerprint/face etc.)
