and my last question... i have the stock JB 4.1.2 Rom , can i flash it or i need to do other things like New kernel?

OP is a technic guide. Flashing ROM is up to you if you want KitKat install and see what happens.Because you can always re-install stock firmware with Odin software. A lot of AOSP ROMs has Samsung's signature you don't have to root your phone (or install a custom kernel) BUT if you edit the zip the signature will be broken or if you just want to make sure do these;
Now for installing you don't have to install kernel. You should root and install temporary recovery with stock recovery. Then you can do whatever you wantbut CWM is temporary you should re-flash everytime if you don't want to install custom kernel otherwise with custom kernels you will have permanent recovery.

[Q] Question about DooMLoRD´s kernel FW-136

Hi there,
I managed to root my Xperia Z1 using firmware 14.2.A.1.136 with the help of DoomLoord´s stock kernel FW-136_v01.
Upon what code is this kernel based? Is this a stock Android 4.3 kernel or does it contain Sony code? Is it based on Sony kernel code? If the Sony kernel is open source, after all...
I ask, because the original Sony kernel has some security features that might get lost when using a stock kernel without Sony extensions.
So, does DoomLoord´s kernel include Sony code or is it a "naked" stock Android kernel?
Thanks for any hint!

1. If you use 136, then use V7 for more features and more stable.
2. It is based on Sony Stock Kernel.
3. Flashing custom kernel need unlocked bootloader, which mean you'll lost your DRM key. This is Sony security which you meant, this is not kernel issue, it's just something you get from what you do (unlock bootloader = lost DRM key)
If I missed to answer your questions, let me know.

I did not find a version v7 for the 136 firmware on his website.... Do you have a link?

Well, on the Sony website I found a paper that says Sony added security enhancements to the Linux kernel, precisely some kind of runtime control mechanism that is not part of the standard Linux kernel. Thus, there is actually some kernel enhancement by Sony to their Linux kernel. This is why I asked, if DoomLoord uses the Sony kernel source these enhancements will be part of his kernel. If DoomLord does not use the Sony kernel source, these enhancements will not be part of his kernel.
Besides, does it require a kernel change to root a device?
Thank you!

Kernel for stock based custom ROMs

I dont want to unlock bootloader, so I would like to know if stock kernel is ok for custom ROMs or should I unlock bootloader and flash any custom kernel too?
II use exiastenz with stock kernel. I tried other kernels as well but after all I went back to stock kernel. But. I stay with unlocked bootloader while I can easily bring back my phone to life after messing too much in system when I recieve a bootloop at Sony logo I just flash doomlord kernel with cwm and then I can flash everything else. But with normal use I prefer stock kernel. Don't need to overclock with such hardware. Don't need to emulate cdrom or other stuff. Don't have time for that. Maybe a year ago but now I don't test new features.
As a summary. Is worth to have unlocked bootloader. But for normal using of device use stable stock kernel and .201 software.
You have to know that some of non stock ROMs NEED special kernels. CM 11 for example.

Yes, I know some about stock and non stock ROMS and when non stock kernel is needed. I had Live with Walkman (Xperia 11) and I needed kernel to OC because 1GHz was not enough and there were plenty of various kernels. Yet it was the only my android device so I need to renew my knowledge base.
So you would say, that stock kernel is enough? Or is it that custom kernels for SP does not differ much from stock kernel?
Also, if I want to flash CWM (recovery menu), do I need to unlock bootloader?
Is warranty void with root or it has nothing to do with warranty?

In my opinion Xperia SP has enough hardware to normal use, and also heavy gaming. Stock Kernel have all features which I need. OTG work, I dont overclock my CPU, more... I underclock my CPU frequenzy. I dont want support of NTFS and other things which can you find in custom kernels. So stock Kernel is enough.
Warranty. You Void your warranty when you unlock your bootloader. But you can always relock it, flash stock ROM and you will have your waranty again.
You dont have to unlock your bootloader to flash (install) recovery. You need root only.

[Q] Overclocking Xperia V

As far as I understand there are values in the kernel that need to be modified to allow overclocking. Most custom ROMs come with modified kernels that allow this. I have a stock 4.3 rom with custom recovery and root. Is there a way to use one of the kernels from those custom ROMs? And is a 4.4 kernel compatible with Android 4.3? Rebuilding a kernel from scratch is beyond my powers and I don't want to mess with this or go that deep
Thanks in advance for any reply.
