Aukey charger - Moto G 2015 Accessories

I found this charger https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B015E6FP6I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is Qualcom Quickcharge 2.0 certified, but it charge just at 500 mA; Snapdragon 410 should be Quickcarge 2.0, right?
Thank you everybody!

Snapdragon 410 supports QuickCharge 2.0, but Moto did not implement it on the Moto G, only standard charging up to 1300mA is supported. And that charger is rated at 2.4A, not 500mA... I have the black version, works perfectly in every device I've plugged into it.

Thanks, but using Ampere app, I get just 500 mA charge, and phone indicates "Charging" not "Quick charging"...

Not familiar with that app... Like I said Quickcharge is not supported in the Moto G 2015, but it will definitely charge at more than 500mA, I have seem real-time values in GSAM Battery Monitor over 900mA and my lockscreen shows 1300mA (built in feature of Resurrection Remix ROM). 500mA usually indicates USB charging, not A/C charging.

I'll try that app and let you know. BTW, fast charge works fine on N5X.

[Q] UK HTC Fast Charger vs US Rapid Charger 2.0

HTC on its official UK website has the Fast Charger for sale but not the Rapid Charger 2.0 its 15w and looks similar to the Rapid Charger 2.0 but doesn't have the certified by Qualcomm stamp on the side. Does anyone know if it performs the same?
Fast Charger:

Rapid Charger 2.0:

Also why is it so difficult to get certified Quick Charge 2.0 chargers in the Uk?
I have the fast charger and it has the QC 2.0 certification logo...

Does it actually work, though? I don't have issues with battery life but it's nice to know
Yes, it works perfectly as advertised. See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2798412

Mi3/Mi4 supports Quick Charge 2.0?!

Alright, can anyone confirm this for me? Wait, lemme start at the beginning...
So I was reading this Android Police article, hoping to get some quoting material for those times when a member thinks USB Fast Charge is the same as Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0...
http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/06/12/quick-rapid-turbo-and-fast-charging-explained-what-you-need-to-know-about-charging-your-smartphone/
Y'know, all those times people ask a kernel dev "Why isn't Fast Charge speeding up my charging?" so I could swoop in and crush their dreams with "Fast charge means only more current draw when USB charging via PC. You're thinking Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, which needs hardware support, so ain't gonna happen."
But turns out, the Mi3/Mi4 DOES have the supported hardware (for Quick Charge 2.0 mind you, not v1.0 like in the Nexus 5)
https://www.qualcomm.com/documents/quick-charge-device-list
(Official document from Qualcomm listing the Xiaomi devices amongst the handful of QC 2.0 devices)
So can someone tell me if this needs kernel support? Or can I just buy a Quick Charger off Amazon and enjoy the benefits?
Or if this is at all LEGIT?

In fact I own an Mi4 which comes with a 2A charger that is normally supporting quick charge 2.0.
With MIUI it's charging 1.8A (of course 1.8A is around 2A minus phone consumption)
On all custom rom it's just charging max 1.3A with about same consumption, or even less.
So Mi4 support quick charge 2.0 with MIUI but not with any custom rom or kernel.
Anything regarding Mi3 ??

In the attachment 1 that is the stock charger of mi3 , in the attachment 2 that is the current of quick charge without the build.prop line. And in the last attachment that is that current with the buil.prop line.
In conclusion, without the build.prop line the lcd becomes super sensitive but higher current, with the build.prop line the lcd is fine but lower current than before

hm, ivan commentetd this build.prop line as "Quick Chager" . the rest of quick charge is already in our device&vendor trees.

Must be rom related? In miui i can get 1500+ but lcd gone crazy and in stock i got 1000 below. In ivan i can get around 1900+ average without the lcd going crazy

I don't think a 2A charger is an actual Quick Charger. (Obv it charges quicker compared to 1A ones )
Apparently for Quick Charge 2.0 technology, your Wattage/Power input should be around 18W (wattage is found by multiplying the voltage written on charger, usually 5V with current you're getting in ampere). Quick Charge 1.0 supported upto 10W which we're gettng with the 2A chargers, but I think we need an actual Qualcomm certified Quick Charger (which allow currents of upto 3A apparently) to see QC 2.0 at work.

Yes, this guy is right. 2A charger with 5V output is not a quick charger this guy talking about (Qualcomm Quick Charger 2.0). 12V charger output is.
Mi4 charger comes with 3 voltages 5V-2A, 9V-1.2A, 12V-1A...but maximum we get is 12*1=12W
Charging on xc kernel (cm ROM)
MI3 is not support any quickcharge. Even you use 2.0A charger, will give you same about 1.2A
What i know is i had Mi3 in past now i have Mi4 and mi4 comes with a Qualcomm Quick charger 12V-1A. It charges way too fast than Mi3 charger.
I use Mi3 Charger 5V-2A on Mi4 it took 2-3 Hours to get fully charged whereas Mi4 Charger takes 1-2 Hours to get fully charged.
It heats up a lot Charger + Mi4 Both
MI3W support QC 2.0, but needed QC 2.0 charger, for example Xiaomi Quick Charger 2.0 aka MDY-3-EB I`m found it here

about fast charge

AFAIK Mi3 does support QuickCharge 2.0 right?
im using cm13 right now and the highest i can get is 1500mA using ampere
it should be higher right?
It's OK. 1500mA is the right one. Stock charger can deliver upto 10W of power. So it's quick charge 1.0
im using aukey charger QuickCharge 2.0 certified by Qualcomm
Might be limited in device and vendor tree.

[Q] Is Quick Charge 3.0 supported?

I have read that QC 3.0 will be supported since the Qualcomm 820 supports it. But, the S7/edge has the same processor and only supported QC 2.0. Any ideas?
Don't think so...
Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
It's confusing. The Note7 has a different Adaptive Fast Charger than earlier Samsung phones. The Note7's charger is 12V, 2.1A while the Note5 and S7-series chargers output 9V, 1.67A . QC 2.0 supports a maximum of 2A and works with 5, 9, and 12 volt chargers. Qualcomm's website lists the Note7 as a Quick Charge 2.0 device. So why did Samsung upgrade the charger output? With QC 2.0 maxing out at 2A they could have introduced 12V with the S7-series as there's no USB-C requirement or benefit on 2.0. Maybe Samsung moved from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 on the Note7 which may have an impact.
So like I said it's confusing. But with a higher output charging adapter and the Note7's assumed ability to accept that higher output you'd have to assume it'll charge faster than the S7-series. Even on QC 2.0 if Qualcomm's website is right. I guess we'll find out more when a more tech focused site like Anandtech and GSMArena do their full testing.
I plan to test it out using my inline USB multimeter that records data and sends it to my PC. Once my Note 7 gets here I'll run some tests assuming I'm not too busy at work
I doubt it. Samsung likes to use their own.

It does if you plug in a "qualcomm" charger and the phone doesn't identify it and use the fast charge or vice versa.

It doesn't because Samsung's adaptive fast charging is just QC 2.0 like it was on the S7/S7 Edge. I thoroughly tested mine with a variety of QC 2.0/3.0 chargers a while back.

Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 3.0 compatibility

Is Realme X2 Pro compatible with qc 2.0/3.0?
I´m using an Aukey charger qc2.0, and when it reaches 75% aprox, it stops charging.
qc 2.0 uses 12V, 9V, 5V
I´ve made some troubleshooting, using a safety usb tester (V, A, W, etc.) and I discovered that when changing from 9V to 5V charging mode, it freezes!! and stops charging. I started at 30% battery level, charging at 9V 1.9A (17W), and reaching 75%... Intensity dropped down to nearly 0A... was no charging... I unplugged it, wait 1 min, plug it again, and it started charging again, but at 5V 1.33A (7W)...
with other mobile phones and same charger (Aukey) it changes from 9V to 5V without stoping, so I am worry if it is a problem of my Realme unit...
Can anyone confirm this?¿?¿?
Thanks in advance,
Qualcomm list doesn't include realme
https://www.qualcomm.com/documents/quick-charge-device-list
But I'm my experience should be, I'm using a zmi car charger and Xiaomi 6 port charger with QC and in both charges rapidly
At work I'm using a leeco charger, and stop charging at +/- 70%
I don't know why

There must be a compatibility problem,
Maybe, if you unpluge and plug it again it will charge up to 100% (it works for me)
Let´s see if it can be solved in next software update, I will try to contact Realme support to let them know.
My charger at work also supports QC 3.0 (not oficially, LeEco Model EQ-248CN).

Bit late to the party...
My phone does work fine with QC. Charges at 9V2.1A until about 60-70%, then drops to 5V2.1A. At about 90% it drops to 5V0.6A until 100%.
My QC3 charger from Aukey also faces this issue. Charging to 80% and then it stops... Still the same after update to c27...
