take a look at the hardware specs:
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z3-6539.php
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z3+-6878.php
and I guess you can tell by those that we're talking about two entirely different phones
the Z3+/Z4 is pretty close to the Z5,
so the chances are higher that Z5 custom ROMs would work (and vice versa),
but I wouldn't try unless it's explicitly mentioned

I'm a bit confused
Could you help me, please ? I just want to install a custom ROM for Xperia Z3 plus.
Which one should i choice ?

I'll post a link to one later, but your best way to get the feeling of using a custom ROM is to install xposed framework. It is hard to make custom ROMs on this phone, that's why you can't find any...
But here is what you can do:
Install @Trilliard's custom ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z4/development/rom-superslim-stock224v1-0-t3413919
And read his post carefully, there is also kernels in there that you can use with his ROM.
Install SU and xposed , then you can install Gravity or layers, or other modules for your phone, to make it look and feel like a custom ROM.
Good luck!

Thank you, bjowol.
I wish i could customise the status bar and navigation bar ( clock, battery, softkey buttons, etc ) with the stock ROM, it wouldn't bother me at all.
But rooting the phone would be great, because some apps require root.

King root does not work for this phone, if it would only be that easy ?
Since you have an unlocked bootloader your next step is to flash a custom kernel which has TWRP installed, and the third step is to install SuperSU 1.76 from TWRP

You need to use "fastboot" for this.
Do you have a dual sim or single sim?
These are for single sim!
Here is the one for single sim .253 firmwar: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z4/general/ftf-sony-firmware-32-2-0-253-t3417275
And here for the .244 firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...rnel-ric-disable-twrp-root-dm-verity-t3393219

I can't fix the issue with GravityBox / XposedInstaller.

Well, the first thing you should do is unlock your bootloader, and then you could find the rom you wanted. See the original android development section for further details. Btw I'm not quite sure your device is supported, hence the version (C5306)

4K and Roms

Hello, I have some questions about Z1:
Did anyone installed 4k and Timeshift and did it work?
What's the best ROM? Now should I install custom rom or no? And how to install rom? Via Flashtools?
I installed a custom theme, but it just changed the main screen wallpaper and nothing else. It's rooted (757). Someone told me to choose the default theme and reboot phone, then again choose custom theme. Is that true?
It has a bit delay when I press the power button to unlock the phone. It's about 4-5 seconds more than usual. It made after I flash it to Kitkat 4.4.2. I don't know why, but I have this issue. How to solve it?
Thanks all

Hi...
For that 4K hysteria - belive me, that's nothing special.
Device sometimes (Z2) FC because overheating (after all, Z2 and Z1 have snapdragon 800- 801 is just a fancy new number, it's same cpu just overclocked to 2.3).
One min video takes 500MB of space and I rarely us it...
Timeshift is awesome and it's work great if I can remember well..
Questions like what's the best ROM aren't allowed on XDA so I'll skip that..
Try few of them and you'll find what's best for you.
For custom themes you have to patch services.jar - si, you have to install superuser mod or use Xposed module called "Xperia Xposed" by serajr - that module will automatically patch services.jar (will disable signature check)
No, you don't have to apply stock then custom, that's good advice for CM ROMs and themes in that ROMs.
If you have superuser, deodexed ROM and rooted device (of course) you'll be able to see custom themes.
Don't know about that "lag" but you could check RAM consumption, maybe there's a solution.
Or try to go to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik (don't rush there, many guys reported they did full wipe after trying only cache wipe)

Thanks. When I was about to install Deodex Rom, so after installation, a post said that I should clear dalvik-cache, and so I did it.
For this part "For custom themes you have to patch services.jar - si, you have to install superuser mod or use Xposed module called "Xperia Xposed" by serajr - that module will automatically patch services.jar (will disable signature check)" I did not got anything, because I'm not pro in android phones. Z1 is my first smart and android phone.
And so, I don't know how to patch services.jar-si
It's rooted of course, and I have SuperSU, lucky patcher, and recently installed moded Google Play.
Is that installed? How should I install it? Or how should I get it?
And about Timishift, it's and amazing addon for camera, just I wanna it. I know that some users reported Sony about overheating of 4k in Z2. My phone itself records 2K, and sometimes I face low memory.

Sorry again. I'm a beginner and my English is not well enough to understand properly these threads and posts.
I read your thread, but I have some questions:
What's NUT 534 firmware? I flashed my phone to 757 via flashtools. Should I flash it again?
I unlocked my BU and rooted it, and so I have CWM or CMW (I don't know which one is correct). And again I should download and install Dual Recovery?
And should I download both Xposed Module and Serajr Xperia Module?
So, now because I have recovery mode, it means there isn't need to flash again?
Now my brain is overheated!
Please help me
Just install xposed framework and serjar module, then the 4k mod
If you have unlocked the boot and have recovery you are all ready to just install the 4k mod by flashing it in recovery then clearing the data in settings/apps for the named apps
just like it says in the OP of the 4k thread

You need recovery for this. No other method unfortunatelly.
I am looking some other solution without recovery install. Thanks anyway.
You'll have to check xposed installation pack (script) and try to repeat it manually... But why no recovery? You can revert to stock recovery after installing xposed framework

As far as making my own zips I have no idea how to do that other than renaming it ".zip" lol
Rajdhani Semibold Flashable Font
managed to get my own flashable font..
Here it is if anyone interested..
based on Rajdhani Semibold.
But it shows funny symbol on the LockScreen Clock tho..
but i do not mind.. the whole system fonts looks nice !
P.S : as always.. "... with your own risk"
You can make your own magisk modules for replacing the system fonts. Flashable zips can be converted for use in magisk, but you have to do it manually.
any Arial Unicode font for OP3T ?

It just turn on dim display when notification arrives.
Its useful because you don't have to wake up the device with power key to see arrived notifications. It saves the efforts of unlocking the device every time to see notifications.

So you are not on stock! This is a modified services.jar file, it gives superusermod privileges.
Stock means nothing modded.
@andro2master he says superusermod is enough to get this work, deodexed not required. Thanks for your work. I will flash superusermod and give a try :fingers-crossed:
Edit: Tried, it works with just superusermod
Is this compatible with 32.4.A.0.160 with twrp and SuperSu?

Okay. Thanks!
Stock is stock, even if u install all fancy mods and deodex the hell out of it.
The only non-stock ROMs are custom ROMs (aosp, lineage, carbon etc).
So right now OP is telling people they need custom ROM instead of stock or modded stock ROMs.
Maybe u should change that, just my 2 cents..
Keep it up.

Advanced users knows the difference between stock and custom roms. Here Stock refers to not modified by deodexing or patching service.jar. Hope will take it in right sense..

You can use it on stock rooted rom with patched service.jar i.e. Super User mod. Give a try its working for others.
