SM-G800F rooted stuck in bootscreen (got TWRP access) - Galaxy S5 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I wanted to try and hopefully learn little about rooting. Have been reading forumposts and tutorials for hours before I started.
Then I got this problem that I have been trying to solve for hours. But my conclusion is I need help solving it.
Tested on this phone that just were collecting dust.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini (SM-G800F) and I think it was running 4.4.2. (this is all I remember off the top of my head)
Problem / What happend (long version):
Rooted phone. Downloaded SuperSU and Flashify and installed TWRP 3.0.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/orig-development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-t3313775). I had no SD-card so I skipped doing a backup. Everything worked fine (for a normal user). Downladed a Root Uninstaller app also Debloater-setup-v3.90.exe (http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=12623). Did not freeze or uninstall anything before checking in this forum that it was OK. But after a while I could not access my homescreen it just turned up blank but I could still use other functions/apps. Rebooted the phone in order to get it to work but got stuck at the bootscreen. Tried to fix it via TWRP but the program freezes after a while or just reboots the phone back into Samsung bootscreen.
Problem / What happend (short version):
Rooted - got Flashify and SuperSU
TWRP 3.0.0 installed (no backup made)
Debloater-setup-v3.90.exe and some Root Uninstaller app used (searched on this forum before doing any changes)
Homescreen just blank, other functions/apps worked
Rebooted the phone and got stuck at Samsung bootscreen
TWRP access but the program freezes/reboot after short time
I did try "Factory reset". But the screen froze and the phone slowly started to heat up.
Later on I searched about it and it might have something to do with KNOX?
Any solution is fine since I don't have anything thats need to be saved. I can try any working stock/custom ROM (just not sure how to get it into the phone, yet).
Yes I am a novice so the simplest thing might even work.

Have you tried to flash stock ROM for your device using Odin? If it fails you may want to check this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/help/g800f-failed-odin-firmware-upgrade-fail-t3131782
If it doesn't fix your phone you may have a hardware problem.

[Q] No ROM to run

Hello...
I'm new to all of this rooting, installing and so( used to do this years ago on my LG KP500 Cookie ), so I'm not sure what to look/search for when I'm in this "bad" spot.
I used my sony xperia SP, but I did not like the current version of android it was, as it was lagging, hanging and other weird stuff, so I've decided to try and install the "lollipop" version. Since the guide I followed was detailed, I got it all working perfectly fine, until I tried to install gapps. After installing them, my phone started crashing / hanging on booting, which kept kicking it back to "SONY" screen, and from there it's just an endless loop.
so I tried to wipe and use backup that I had saved, so I could try and reinstall the ROM. It ended up at where I can't do anything anymore. I start my phone - "SONY" screen and nothing else. Can't access the CWM recovery, it doesn't progress anywhere, just sits there.
I'm lost. I don't know what to do Please help ;~;

Tried to install OTAvwith TWRP, phone boots normally but then reboots to recovery

I have a Moto G XT1072. I had unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and rooted it a while ago. I did not install any custom rom.
I was completely unaware of TWRP's lack of support for OTA upgrades, so when my phone notified me that there was an update available, I was like "oh, cool, okay" and downloaded it.
a) The download finished, the phone rebooted and TWRP recovery popped up.
b)"Mh, I guess I have to find the update file and flash it, probably"
c) Of course I didn't find it, so I googled and found out that if I want to install an OTA update I have to flash back the stock recovery and I might lose root. "Not worth it, thanks, maybe when 6.0 comes out"
d) So I rebooted the phone. Boot screen with motorola logo shows up, phone boots normally, I insert my sim card pin, set the alarm for tomorrow morning (6:00 am, fml) and *poof*, phone shuts down and reboots in TWRP.
e) back to point d.
Recap: I downloaded the update but I didn't install it, phone boots normally (I can even go in settings), but after 30 seconds it shuts down and reboots in TWRP. I do not care about the update, I just hope I can avoid re-rooting or even wiping.
I've got the exact same problem as you. Stupid to not have thought this could've happened with TWRP installed. Additional problem is, I have removed everything ''root-related'' (adb, fastboot), because I thought I wouldn't need it anymore. TWRP is obviously still on my mobile, but that's about it. I have already made a backup in TWRP (don't think it will help, because I'm afraid it will backup as boot trap), but who knows if it may help.
Back to the point, I'm a noob with rooting, I don't even know how I've managed to root it in the first place, but I'm stuck with the same problem as you are but without the required tools (at least, that's what I think)...
UPDATE: So my phone finished the backup, I turned it off to charge my battery, I fired it back up after an hour (normal way, not TWRP way), and it all of the sudden works again. It doesn't boot trap anymore and it seems like I'm able to use every function properly again. After those 30 seconds (where it usually rebooted), I now got the message that the installation had failed and that I should try again later. I don't know if there's any logical explanation for this or if this is pure luck, but I'm glad it's working again! I don't know if this will help for you as well ricvail, but I think it's at least worth a shot!

Root not properly working, please help!

I have the dual sim Exynos version, model number SM-N950F/DS.
I followed this guide 100% as said:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygcDFTPT248
Root is not properly working. Unsure why. I rooted using Magisk. When checking the app, it has ticked both latest and installed version V16.4. When checking safety net option, both are ticked.
Adaway even after rebooting says ''rooted Android required'' . Root explorer not working also. The only thing I got working and only after rebooting it worked was Titanium backup. After rebooting I was prompted to give root access which obviously I did and it works fine.
However, other apps requiring root access do not prompt me to grant it root access and immediately says ''no root'' .
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Ps. I keep getting this annoying notificaiton on the taskbar saying ''Security notice. Unauthorised actions have been detected. Restart.'' . How do I get rid of this notification? I restarted twice yet it keeps popping up.
And now for no apparent reason I am stuck on the Samsung logo, phone is not booting up. The top left blue LED is flashing but the phone is not booting. Please help.
^ I managed to fix my device, like always I was running an older version of TWRP!! Happens every time with every phone regardless!
From one of the threads, I downloaded the very latest recovery and flashed it via ODIN. Voila! Installed one of the Note 8 roms and perfect. Everything working fine.
Why is it if using a slightly older recovery nothing works? I am unable to even format/wipe, install roms, nothing...

stock rom lockscreen problems

Hi, this is my first post and im having problems with my A6.
I tried to install TWRP wich mostly worked fine, but i didnt follow the tutorial correctly wich left my device boot looping at the boot-logo (i didnt install the zip files needed),
so i thought i soft-bricked my device and i downloaded correct stock rom versions from [cant post outside link because im new, but it would go here]
and installed it with Odin3.
This has worked fine and i restored it again, but for some reason if i set the lockscreen protection (like PIN or Fingerprint) it first wont work (but it shows changed in settings)
and when you reboot the device it soft-bricks at the lockscreen and keeps showing the samsung logo then lockscreen for 1 second and samsung again etc. (this wont brick if i dont set any protection)
I have tried a lot of things like installing TWRP again and clearing cache but none seem to fix the problem (other than doing a factory reset).
so im asking here if someone has a clue to what is happening?
EDIT: i will try to install a older version and try to update it with the official updater and i will report back shortly
Results: It did fix my problem with the lockscreen but if i flash TWRP and install Magisk it wont work again
EDIT2: apparently if i wait long enough at the lockscreen-bootloop(atleast couple of minutes) it will grant me access but the protection still doesnt work
EDIT3: Im using Android 9 and i noticed that this is probably the cause, but i didnt find a updated version

Recovery mode and Root issues after stock flash

Hello all before I describe my issue lemme tell you how I got there.
First of all, new phone, couldn't install pixelexperience and flashing stock android was being a pain with all methods (read not working), only managed to install stock android with pitch black recovery.
After a while it auto updated to android 9 and I started having wifi issues that people told me were android's fault so I waited for an update. Update came but android was unable to install it, giving errors after errors every time it downloaded the update.
My solution to all of this was to flash another rom, either stock or custom, and pray it works. It was scheduled to happen in 2 days, when I had free time.
Today, when trying to change the permission for a text file for an app from read only to write, some random process crashed, and it triggered a crashing cascade, including the settings app, homescreen launcher, etc until the phone restarted and got stuck in TWRP logo screen.
No key press, combination, resets, etc would fix it. So I got into fastboot and tried a few things with no luck. Flash stock rom again and phone seemed to be working.
Magisk manager couldn't install magisk and root the phone so I went into stock recovery/twrp and every time I did it I got a black screen message saying something like this:
"Your phone/system is corrupt and won't boot ever again *evil laugh*. Oh btw, go to this link in another device to cry more"
and the link redirects to a google page with some non-useful info.
So here I am, unable to root, unable to go into recovery, phone boots though. I force-stoped updates for a while, as android 9 wifi issues were terrible, and I don't know how to proceed.
Do I flash a stock image again, a custom one, try another rooting method?
I don't want to brick a 6month old phone, really sucks.
Btw, is there a reliable way to back up everything in the phone ?(not only google stuff, but app configs and files/folders) Long time ago I read something about Titanium backup but never looked into it further and now with this crash that lost me everything I wanna prepare for the future.
Thanks for all the help and for reading my boring story.
Even I am facing same problem.. In my case my phone is rooted and I cnt flash TWRP and I cnt get into fastboot mode.. I alwys endup with black screen..
