Bypass Abnormal Factory Reset - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How can I bypass the Abnormal reset lock screen? I got this phone from my uncle because he is waiting for the Note 7. I have tried using Odin to downgrade from 6.0.1 to 4.4 to use accessibility but it failed every time. I also tried to use an otg cable with a usb flash drive to access settings but it didn't show up. Thank you in advance!

Go to about phone...then tap build number 7 times or until you see a message that says "develope options enabled" ....then back out to setting and go to developer options and make sure the reactivation lock is turned off....but you can't downgrade to 4.4.4 either way...only 5.1.1 DOK2 firmware...they locked the downgrade with DOK2

The phone is stuck on the setting up process of the phone. I cannot access anything farther than the Samsung abnormal factory reset screen.

Same thing happened to me flashing a Tmobile rom. To prevent this you need to go through the setting and allow unlocked bootloaders (or something like that, currently flashing my phone to look it up) but this will prevent this lock from triggering. How I got past this? Odin'd back to stock and flashed everything again.
Bro phone doesn't go to main windows how I can go to setting it's only stuck on bootloop
Have you tried flashing the stock image in odin?
Stock rom from sammobile?
Yeah, you'll need to get familar with the hardware keys and how to boot into download mode with them. Typically I'd link you with instructions but I think googling it yourself will do you some good. Do some research and be sure to answer nicely to those who offer help.

USB OTG saved my soft bricked Moto Z2 Force [Sprint]

I am an idiot, I flashed a T-Mobile image to my XT1710-03 [Sprint] variant and it soft bricked it. With the Modem settings lost and the OEM Unlocking switch reset to disabled. I had no way of getting the device internet to let it free up the OEM unlock function. What I tried:
Blank-flash - Nope
Stock flashing - NOPE
USB OTG Single port Network adapter - YEP!
The device saw the adapter, loaded it as a network device (nothing apparent but I could surf the web) and BAM! OEM unlocking was free to enable.
Now I am not smart I mean I bricked the Z2 in the first place but if you were like me and had a phone without a modem and just needed a little bit of internet to get the job done this post is for you.

I came back to stock ROM. the problem is that it gets stuck in the initial configurations of the android trying to find a wifi network, to continue the configuration, without success, because I see in fastboot that the baseband is unknown, and I also can not install any rom, or recovery image because I have the following message in fastboot: FLASHING_LOCKED. and since I can not get past the initial android settings, I also can not unlock the developer options to enable OEM unlocking. now I'm standing in a rom that does not leave the initial configuration, it does not connect to any network and a fastboot that does not let me install anything. and I also tried the recovery mode and even tried to install an update via sideload, without success.
will it be that if I try this I can go ahead with the initial settings? because the phone is searching for network and can not connect, with the adapter will the device recognize the connection?
Your adapter is wifi?

Android does not start after turn off.

I installed an Android image from google. Everything works until you turn off your phone. Later, do not turn on, the only thing that displays is a white google sign and a padlock at the bottom. I tryed difrent roms, but was the same. I can send more information.

Welcome to XDA.
What version N6 & what exact image from what url?
Problem Solved !
Android did not want to turn on when fastboot was unlocked. When I blocked him, the android turned on. There was no padlock at the bottom.
Do you need to block fastboot to make android turn on? I do not know, but it worked for me.
Does it make sense?

When flashing stock Google ROM via "flash-all.bat" whether the bootloader remains unlocked or not shouldn't make a difference in bootup. The initial bootup may take a few minutes (4-5 minutes (?)) which may be what you confused for a malfunction.
It may be that it took too long and I thought the phone was not working and I turned it off.
Thank you all for your help.

FRP LOCKED Samsung SM-T280. Need help

I purchased a used tablet off ebay. It is frp locked. The seller said he would refund me my money or give me a partial refund to get it unlocked. I am looking for suggestions on what to use to unlock.
I looked at the logs and took some pics of them. Hopefully they will tell you what version and security patch is installed. I get to the talkback screen. When click on the privacy policy I get the your request has been declined for security reasons.
I haven't messed with rooting or customising android since 2.0 or so. So I am way out of the game.
Suggestion?

You should downgrade to build ended with PH3, otherwise there is no way to use Talkback to open Chrome.
I don't know what you did, but Volume Up + Home + Power will open Recovery Mode where you can see the build number at the top.
With the volume up power home screen there is a option to see logs also. I will downgrade and see what happens

If you already know how to use Talk Back to reach Privacy Policy, then no problem to unlock FRP by downgrade the firmware.
They key of FRP unlock is to know what method to use with certain build or OS, there is no key for every lock, that's main point most users are missing when post a solution online, so are the ones are watching or reading.
I was not sure if the firmware I was on was able to unlock. After reading a lot, I found it easiest to downgrade the firmware. Works like a charm.

Where did you get your phone from? Did you unlock bootloader? What happens when you try to perform a factory reset?

Best I can suggest is using the Android Flash Tool to completely restore your device. Check the "Wipe device" and "Force flash all partitions" boxes. This will only work if your bootloader is unlocked.
I didn't know this existed, Neat!! Makes me wanna pick up a google phone now XD
