Can't get the snapchat workaround to work. - Xposed General

Hi.
I have a rooted G3 D855 running 5.0
I want to install snapchat, but have been unable to do so.
Here's what I have tried so far:
- using rootcloak to hide snapchat, and xposedbridge/xposedbridge.jar in commands and keywords
- logging into snapchat on a non-rooted Note 5 running 6.0, using Titanium Backup to transfer the app state to my phone. The app works for 3 seconds and then proceeds to log me out.
- i can't uninstall xposed framework without having to do it via recovery, since that's how i was able to install it in the first place and in the app itself the uninstall button is greyed out
my thinking is that the latest version of snapchat has workarounds implemented for the workarounds, and i really havent found a solution so far.
Any help would be appreciated.
edit: not using Snapprefs

No. U have to uninstall xposed. Then install snapchat, connect. And stay connect. Never disconnect.
Flash xposed and snapchat still works.
I did that and it works

It's been happening for a long time now.
You have flash xposed uninstaller package file which can be found on the same topic.
If you don't have recovery to flash, simply use some other software to flash it manually like FlashFire.
1) Download xposeduninstaller.zip
2) Flash it using recovery or FlashFire.
3) Reboot
4) Login
5) Reflash xposed framework
6) Reboot and all done.
I'd advice you to use Systemless Xposed which you can simply enable and disable anytime without having to go through all this trouble.

What about me, I only have root and still can't connect to snapchat

Install safety net helper, if the check fails you won't be able to log in.

Android Pay and Root/Custom recovery

So I got Android Pay today and it looks like it will not work on a stock TOUCHWIZ ROM. Had anyone had any luck using it?
After taking a quick look at what it is needs to verify your phone I'm not sure if we'll ever work on a rooted device.

I've had no luck
I tried:
1.) rootcloak - fail after card setup
2.) no device check - failed before card setup
3.) disabling su - failed after card setup
Still no luck

Stock rom, N910T3
Running unofficial CM 12.1 and no dice, Work at Wholefoods and I have been using Wallet for a while now. Pretty annoyed that I can't even downgrade my google services and get the older Wallet NFC app and why did they decide to split it into 2 apps instead of just one?
Meh....
For the Note 4 (N910T), I had Tekxodus Rom URv5. Wouldn't work. Even tried disabling SU, Changing DPI, RootCloak, etc NO LUCK! However, i decided to get the stock rooted/debloated/deodexed rom - N910TUVU1COG2.
1. Backed up my current rom using TB.
2. Flash N910TUVU1COG2 rom (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347790828)
3. At first boot and setup, immediately disabled SU, and setup Lock Pin.
4. Installed Google Play Services 8.1.14_(2244331-238)-8114238-minAPI21.
5. Installed Android Pay 1.0.103131485
6. Open Android Pay and verified card.
7. Re-Enabled SU.
8. Restore Apps using TB.
Hope this helps.
The old wallet app works better and supports more cards
REAL bad experience with No Device Check (Xposed) on rooted N7100 Note 2, stock rom, 4.4.2.
Installed it, rebooted and immediately I noticed that all of my apps that require root had disappeared from not only the main screen but from the app drawer.
Thought that I would freeze it but Ti Backup wasn't there.
Went into App Manager and tried to uninstall but it would not uninstall.
Wanted to restart into recovery mode but the options were missing... just the option to restart which did not work. The phone would not restart.
Did a full shut down and restarted into recovery the conventional way and luckily got into TWRP and did a recovery. Thankfully I did a backup last night.
Before doing a recovery, I worked on the phone from a 99% charge down to 11%, so I spent some time with it.
One funny thing though, while going through all of this, I got an update to Android Pay and my camera app.
Right after that update, I opened AP and it wanted the code on the back of the card so I tapped the field and the keyboard didn't come up and that's when I decided to do the recovery from TWRP.
BTW, over the last few days I tried all of the above suggestions and none have worked but haven't tried them again after the update to Android Pay. I think that for the time being I'll just play it safe and whip out the plastic.
so basically you can't use a customized rom

[Q] How to uninstall Xposed framework on Marshmallow 6.0.1?

I rooted my Nexus 6P running stock 6.0.1 and installed Xposed framework (ver 79), but then I found that I cannot login to Snapchat with the Xposed framework installed.
I went to uninstall it, but the uninstall button in the installer app is greyed out. Is there an alternative way to uninstall Xposed?
Use the Uninstaller zip. The in app options like that and reboot don't work

Can't login to Snapchat? Solved!

Hi everyone!
If you are using a Custom ROM such as CyanogenMod, and are trying to login to Snapchat, you may encounter this error:
"Oh no! Your login temporarily failed, so please try again later. If your login continues to fail, please visit support.snapchat.com/a/failed-login".
The reason why Snapchat won't let you login is because your device has root access, or Xposed Framework installed! Yes! You heard right! Snapchat now blocks devices with root access and Xposed installed!
SOLUTION 1: (CyanogenMod Only)
1. Go into "Settings" and find "Developer Options".
2. Then find "Root Access" and change it to "Disabled".
3. Now attempt to login to Snapchat!
4. Now, if your login was successful, you can now re-enable "Root Access" in "Developer Options".
5. Done!
NOTE: There seems to be a problem with Snapchat force closing on Marshmallow/CM13 Based ROM's, so if this happens to you, I'm sorry I do not know how to fix this, as far as I know, there is no fix for this issue.
SOLUTION 2:
1. Download Xposed Uninstaller.zip from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
2. Boot your phone into recovery and flash the Xposed Uninstaller.zip
3. Reboot your phone
4. Done!
NOTE: Once you login to Snapchat, you can reinstall Xposed Framework and everything will work fine.
If you have any problems, please contact me and I will attempt to help you. Thanks everyone!
I can't find root access in my developer options
Hi Uzayr, Are you using CyanogenMod?
Yeah... It keeps force closing... I'm using a rom based on CM13... Is there any way to fix this. I log in, but it force closes itself after I open the app
This seems to be a known problem with Marshmallow/CM13, So as far as I know there is no fix available.

Try using RootCloak
Hey! I have one problem with Snapchat, but I think I've found something that could help to fix it. As many people have noticed in other posts, Snapchat in CM13 based ROMs has FCs, but last night when I powered off WiFi and network conection Snapchat worked and then, when I powered on WIFI and network again, the FCs reappeared. Could it be this relevant to finding a solution? Can it have something to do with the bug of the camera? It happens every time I power off WIFI and network on my phone. Thanks!
Problem still there

Yeah me too ! I have uninstalled the Xposed Framework and also the Root Access but nothing happens ! Still the same problem !
Make sure Xposed Framework is completely uninstalled, then uninstall Snapchat, make sure that you do not have SuperSU installed, reboot your device and reinstall Snapchat and see if that works, thanks.
Tried everything....
Ok so. I have an SM-G930FD (international GS7 exynos), with a custom ROM installed effectively making my phone a SM-N930F (or whatever the code is for Note 7 is) or in other words, it's a ROM that ports all the features of the Note 7 including the model number.
Ever since I installed this ROM I've been trying all sorts of things to bypass the Snapchat log in detection.
I first tried RootCloak.... It didn't work. So then I went on to research and found that Xposed may be the culprit. So, I uninstalled Xposed framework.... that too didn't work. Then I thought maybe it's the presence of the Xposed app on my phone..... Still "log in temporarily failed" .....
Finally, I uninstalled Root and the Super SU app..... and guess what.... it still doesn't work....
I even tried switching between the Standard Snapchat App and the Beta Snapchat App.... Still, doesn't work. :crying:
Is there any other way to make snapchat log in work without having to install the stock ROM for my phone? If there's nothing else, ill just assume its the ROM that triggers Snapchats log in protection.

Okay my problem is solved thanks to @Lewdog45
he said:
I have a solution, it may be a big process but if you are the only person who use's Snapchat on your device then what you can do is:
1. Uninstall root access on your device
2. Log into Snapchat with your normal account (You should be able to log in once you have removed root access)
3. Once you have logged in on Snapchat, you can Re-root your device, and reinstall Xposed Framework if you wanted
VERY IMPORTANT!
If you log out of Snapchat at anytime while you have root access and Xposed installed, you will have to repeat this process.
And he said about unrooting:
Steps:
1. Open SuperSu
2. Navigate to the "Settings" tab
3. Find the "Cleanup" tab
4. Then click on "Full unroot"
5. Done!
VERY IMPORTANT!
If your device says that it's uninstalling root access for more than 10 minutes, try rebooting your device.
After signing in to snapchat you can re root your phone agian and install xposed without any problem
If this helped please thank him and you can contact him on skype "lewdog45" if the problem still presist.

Trouble with Xposed on Galaxy Note 5

I've tried installing Xposed several times now with no luck. I install in TWRP, reboot, and then my phone sits on a black screen with the blue light for forever until it goes to the Sprint LTE logo and then just stops there. I end up having to shut my phone down (which won't happen unless it's plugged in to charge), go back into TWRP, and then use the Xposed uninstaller. Then when I reboot, everything loads back up perfectly. I don't really know what's causing this? I apologize as I'm kind of a noob to rooting & such.
I have a Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920P on Android 6.0.1. Any advice?
(The only reason I really wanted to get Xposed is so I could install a module to bypass the root status for Snapchat...lol)

If you running stock 6.0.1 and not a CM ROM you need the specialized one for Samsung. Check this thread:

Don't forget after flashing it you should wipe caches, and it will take a little while to boot the first time after flashing Xposed

Need Help :/

Hello Fellas,
I have some issues and hope you guys can help me out.
I have a Samsung Note 8 (SM-N950F), I have Rooted it today (Using Exynos menthos) and it went flawless without any Errors. After Rooting my Phone I have Flashed Xposed (by PurifyOS) but it seems not working well and I am not sure if it is the Root the Problem or Xposed.
The Problems are :
1. In Xposed the Modules I have Downloaded seems not working/not getting Activated. I have downloaded AdBlock and Youtube Background, checked both of them and restarted my Phone so the Modules get Activated. Well Youtube Background dosent work & Adblock says "The Module hasnt been Activated" but in Xposed it shows me it is Acivated.
2. I have Downloaded 2 Apps which needs Root Access (Freedom & XModGames) and everytime I launch them it Crash my hole Phone and restart my Phone.
The Root & Flashing Xposed went without any Errors.
Any reason you haven't used the official? Try it, may fix your issue
