More than what ?

I've noticed camera app drains a lot of battery too. I don't remember seeing that on my other phones. May be I just wasn't aware.

maybe everything else consumes less battery and that gives a weird illusion thinking that camera is consuming extra battery ? im just making a wild guess.. the snap 820 is a very efficient processor. if we directly take a look at whats taking a lot of battery its mostly the camera or most used app

[Q] Is this normal battery life?

Ive seen good time remaining screen shots in those review. But i think mine is not that good enough. I have my bluetooth, mobile data, nfc, location, 4g. I sometimes on wifi for checking sites.
Ive seen 5days and 18 hrs of estimated batt time in android beat's review (and he dont turn on the stamina mode!) but mine is only 2 days with stamima mode and 1 day for non stamina mode.
Btw, this is only my first charge. any tips guys? Thanks!
Edit:
This is the screenshot of android beat. With 40% remaining, his phone manage to estimate of 5days and 18hours battery life.

First image doesn't work, please fix the tag. You shouldn't look at the estimated time, because it really doesn't mean much.

here it is. yeah I guess so I shouldnt look. But why is it like that?
Suggest the OP would use one of the many threads already in this forum to keep it clean and tidy.
No use to start a new one for each and every phone...

Try using battery optimisation if you are using marshmallow 6.0!!
Even 30 min extension you gained is not a bad one...i dnt thing you can even get more battery life...afterall its a android device nd uses battery to a large extent....
Rather even try using cm13 it may help you to some extent...stock rom also consumes more battery
use Greenify , best app out there to really improve your battery life.
Amplify are other Alternatives too . If you are on a custom kernel use Kernel Adiutor to use LOW RAM Kill . This might help you in Battery Saving and prevent lagging
Just use halogen kernel with cm13 for extending battery up to 3 hrs Buddy try it!.....

Force Gpu Rendering And Battery Life

Does anyone have theirs turned on? I turn mine on every time i get a new phone but now that i think about it my s8+ also had crappy battery life apart from this note 8 that has bad battery... could this be taking a hit on my battery life?? It's the only thing i could think of
that could be randomly draining my battery... since there isnt any show of apps draining...
Thanks in advance!

Accelerates performance but takes a toll on battery, forcing your gpu to stay at the relevant 60fps on the ui.

In Settings, Battery you should be able to get a battery usage breakdown by app. There you can find the one using a lot and remove it.

That is where I have seen that the "other" section at the bottom of the page is what consumes 40% of my battery.

Hmmm...the best thing I think you can do is uninstall any apps you're not using and go to an "app light" setup to minimize background processes.

I have the same phenomenon.

Question Phone gets quite hot.

I just got my S23 a couple of days ago. Yesterday when I was in a restaurant, the phone got really warm. To the point of being uncomfortable to hold. I managed to take a screenshot of a sensors app and it showed that it was in the 43°s one of the sensors even got to 73°C (Tho idk what that sensor is)

It's gotten warm a couple of times now, but so far it'd never gotten as hot as that screenshot. All the reviews I've seen said that this phone never gets hot, so I'm not sure what's happening here.
Not something I've experienced with my S23 Ultra. It's possible an app is misbehaving and keeping the CPU active.
Go to settings/Battery and Device Care when if it happens again and see if there are any battery or security issues.
Also you could install Good Guardians from the Samsung app store.
In the app check Battery Tracker for high usage, and also use Thermal Guardian, you can set a thermal threshold and a few options to help cool the phone down if it goes above the threshold.
