EMUI 3.1 -> TWRP 3.0.0.0 http://www.mediafire.com/download/al66y3g430m6u0d/TWRP3.0P7_boycracked.zip
To make Xposed Framework work you need to disable Resource Hooks in Settings and reboot.

No, with latest version (>85) you don't need to disable resource hooks

First, try to install a custom recovery (TWRP recommended) on your device, then flash latest SuperSU. This will root your device. Reboot your device and if everything works, reboot to recovery and make a complete backup. Then flash Xposed (SDK21 by rovo89, arm version). Wipe cache&dalvik after flashing Xposed and reboot.

Maybe there is an unofficial version available. Just search for it. Otherwise try to root your device by an alternative method and flash Xposed by using Flashify.

Try to replace KingoRoot with SuperSU. There are tutorials available. This should allow Flashify to work properly.

SuperSU is an advanced root management tool that works on most devices. Just search for "SuperSU" here in XDA. For replacement of KingoRoot, just search for "replace KingoRoot SuperSU".

Then I would suggest that you ask for help in the official Xposed thread for Android Lollipop here on XDA.

Philz recovery might also work, but as far as I remember, this recovery is known to cause some issues with Xposed on other devices. Read the first two posts of this thread for more information.

The best way to install Xposed is via Magisk.
Unroot your device completely by flashing the stock firmware or just the boot image then flash Magisk.
Open Magisk manager and install the Xposed module.
Nothing else required. All without affecting system or permanently breaking anything. It's as simple as removing the module to revert.

You don't need to decide. The latest version is dynamic and will install the correct version.

Magisk and Xposed

Does it work for anyone?
I don't know what to do.
I get consistent bootloops after I install Xposed Installer.
It works until that point.
This is what I do:
1) reflash stock rom
2) use Xperifix to install TWRP and Magisk
3) install Magisk Manager
4) install Xposed Installer https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
After I reboot phone after step 4), the phone ends up in bootloops and I can't boot it up even in safe mode.
What do I do? What's wrong? Help!

First, what firmware are you using on your phone? The ONLY firmware that works with Xposed is .75 from April 2018.
If you flash .75 firmware and use Xperiafix to install magisk
Then open magisk and look in modules for Xposed framework (SDK 26)
What!!
This is not explained (warned about) anywhere!! Goddamn half a week wasted!
I have G8441_Customized CE1_1310-7123_47.1.A.16.20_R7B but also used .....12.270 or something before. Basically, the latest stock.
Why doesn't it work though?
look in Russel5 full_mod
post #47
It works for stock too.

Xposed for Android 8- help needed

Hello guys I recently rooted my xz premium dual sim and I currently have Magisk 22.1, I'm not an expert so
I need help please, what are a proper direct way to get xposed working properly on Android 8.0 ROM?
I mainly need to install XPrivacy, I tried to install EDXposed but it failed though and I'm not sure what to do
Thanks in advance
Since you need to install this with Magisk, do this:
Donwload the attached files
be sure to install the Xposed Magisk apk file first and open it it will show, thats it's not installed
then go to magisk and flash the xposed framework zip
and reboot
then (after your device is completely started with magisk and xposed) go to magisk, and check if the module's enabled. If it's NOT enabled, flash the zip again. If it's enabled, open xposed installer and check. (it's still not fully installed) and then there comes a message, that it's installed, but not really.
For the last step you need a custom recovery (like twrp or something)
Boot into your custom recovery and flash the xposed zip there (again)
Reboot and enjoy.
Another (way simpler) method would be to download it from magisk manager (if you have a older version) online repo.
I attached the Magisk version (with working repo)
In case xposed is installed but remains not active (yellow triangle instead of a green checkmark in the xposed installer app) follow the instructions of post #2 and don't worry you don't have to be an expert for this fix its fairly easy
Magisk + Xposed Framework is installed, but not active (XposedBridge.jar lacking)
Hi, new member here, who happened to lurk into XDA a few times in the past, and finally decided to register, hoping finding someone that would be able to help with my problem. I have Nexus 7 (2012), which became unusable with Android Lollipop...
