I think that they are pretty good. I had a G5, then the Note 7 for a few days. I am used to the G5 with the fingerprint scanner on the back and like it. But, the scanner on the Z is the best I have seen. It is super fast and implemented well. I still get a bit confused with the scanner and the home button, but that should improve over time.

Thin, but slippery.. plastic back cover feels good under hand and aluminium frame feels solid.. very good tactile feedback from buttons

Premium feel for a Mid-range device
Once you get used to the slipperiness it feels real great, comfortable to hold, not to big, you can reach all the corners without much readjusting.
As mentioned before, the metal finish gives a very smooth and premium feeling. Its rounded making it a snug fit in your hand. The camera bump may make you nervous to set it down
she said all of this by the way
7.5/ 10

This is a *tool*, a media machine, with scalloped sides for a secure grip.
And, it has a nice weight. You really feel you're holding something special.
Love it!

Ergonomics are very comfortable even though the phone is very big.
There is a low chance to drop this phone, because the grip is very good due to the plastic.
Not thee best but certainly one of the best.
