I voted average. It's EXTREMELY slow to reconnect to mobile signals after losing signal for 15 seconds. It took around 2-3 minutes to start searching for signal again. I'm sure it's just a setting but I bet it's hidden away in the service menu. By comparison my LG G3 would reconnect within seconds.
For me it is very good, I live in Spain, with Movistar, and I have not had problems with the signal, thanks to the band 800, I have 4G in the room, when other phones did not reach 3G.
From the garage, I live in a six-storey building, nothing comes of coverage, between parking and climbing in the elevator, it takes more than 2 minutes,
And in the elevator itself I have 3G coverage and followed the 4G.
I have not configured anything, everything related to the network is by default.
I live in Northeast PA and use the CDMA option with net10. It uses Verizon's towers. LTE everywhere I have been and I have done a lot of traveling. Speed is decent could be faster. Usually reconnects fine.

I've always switched between AT&T and T-Mobile. AT&T has always had better penetration until now T-Mobile using the h901 I've been able to consistently get signal and fast data access even deep into buildings and in elevators. An issue I had using my LG G4 h811 on AT&T, always losing signal. It seems to reflect on my battery endurance as well.

i went from a g4 to the v10 at my house i get service everywhere other tmobile phones dont g4 was in and out with the v10 i havent dropped a single call and get 5mb down and 3 up which is good bc others dont even get data sometimes aka roomates icrap 6s lol
i brag about the exceptional signal i get all the time and i always have a better db reading than anyone else in my area nw of twin citties mn
Never have a problem. Gets a signal all the places any other phone gets a signal.
I ran a few RF tests with this device to view transmit/receive with some DIAG equipment. I can personally say that the CDMA-2000 Band 13 variant has amazing RF conditions.

Cellular strength seems a bit weak, goes out before my other current phones (Note 5 and Nexus 5x)
I have not really had any issues on Cricket(AT&T), I have dropped 2 calls, but It's in a spot where every phone I've had drops
I've been testing T-mobile with the 16gb version. It seems to have a little less throughput than my G4 and Nexus 6. Which is really negligible compared to its lower signal issue. I'm in a poor signal area anyways with T-mobile. In my house I usually only get hasp/4g (no LTE) with the g4 and Nexus. This phone just gets 2g, which is useless for any data. I'll test cricket and update this post. I have quite a bit better cricket/at&t coverage than T-mobile.
had chance to do heavy real world testing of cellular today.
Apps were taking hours to download from Playstore. Setup hot spot on my low end Galaxy Core Prime and downloads too moments compared to hours using HD R1's cellular.
Wife will not be happy if she perceives slower speeds. Time will tell...might end up going with one of the Moto's instead. ...

Compared to my Samsung J3 2016 it has better signal reception. In a weak signal area I drop to edge (E) on the J3 while the blu has 3G.

I have unlimited data and never bother using WiFi. So that says it all really.
Comparing to my previous phones Lenovo P2 is OK.
I do not think it has much sense to compare to other phones. Cellular data transfer is a matter of international standardization and compatibility.
Cellular transmission vastly depends from data provider: BTS setting and location and many other things to much to list
I had a Samsung Note 3 before this phone. I am on the Three UK network.
The Note 3 didn't support both of their LTE bands so the 4G coverage was patchy. Also even in 4G areas it would often favour 3G and I would rarely get 4G even sat next to my other half with their iPhone 6 plus on 4G.
The P2 supports both the bands so gets 4G coverage much more often. It also switches straight back to 4G if it does go to 3G.
It also support VOLTE which is good. Call quality is very good.
As for speed I have no problems streaming HD videos, youtube, BBC iPlayer etc.
I've done the odd test and I get anywhere from 5mb/s to 70+ depending on the area I am in. Uploads anywhere from 1mb/s to 30mb/s. I often use my phone to upload large files as my home cable broadband only has 5mb/s upload.
I often use my phone as a hotspot as I get 30GB a month of tethering allowance. I use it when away in the caravan streaming to my tablet. With that and all the other usage I was away in the caravan for a week and use over 80gb of data that month! Oops! Usual usage from 20-40gb a month.
i find cell strenght not to be great on my p2 compared to the motorola phones i had before this but because i am on 3 network i can use three intouch app its not a big issue.

Well, this is quite a subjective review. As I have notice that when I am out and about in HK. Some areas provide very good reception for my SGST5e, while in some areas it is pretty bad. This maybe due to cell provider coverage.

As long as you are in, or around cities, larger towns, major interstates, the LTE works well. But, get into more rural areas, and......... Not so much. I ran an old S7 of mine (on an AT&T prepaid plan, side by side with my new Note 20 on an AT&T contract plan, and found that the new Note wouldn't open apps requiring cell data correctly, if at all, while the old S7 opened them right up. And, text messages many times showed up as undownloaded files in the messaging app, and wouldn't download the content until I reached a much better covered area. And, the note wouldn't send texts consistently in these areas, either. Meanwhile, at the same places, the old S7 opened them right up, and sent messages flawlessly. I traded an S8 Active for this Note, and it worked everywhere the S7 did, so the issue is with the Note 20, not service area or carrier in my case. I drive truck between Chicago area, and Kansas City, so I am in all kinds of different zones.

My First day at work with the new phone was amazing, I had full LTE service in buildings that use to kill the service on other devices.
I'm in a Rural county with decent 4G lte service and as I was riding around town I noticed the phone went to 5G several times. At one point I stopped to get a drink and the 5G was on so I ran a speed test, Nothing special 4mbs up and 10 down. Must be the AT&T fake 5G I'm seeing here.
