Transparent Calendar | Mail Touchdown Widgets

I hate the touchdown widgets. I have taken the liberty and modified the apk for anyone that hates it as much as I do. All I have done so far was theme /edit the mail and calender widgets and I modified the text from black to white. They are transparent with smoke borders. Past due appointments will still show red. Be easy on me as this is my first android mod! Feedback is welcome as well!
All you need to do is install the trial version of touchdown located below and be sure to license it! If anyone wants to give me a quick rundown of MM i'd be happy to modify the install procedure. The apk is for android 2.0 devices.
Thanks!!

Hey thanks for doing these...
I tried the zip file on my Desire with Touchdown 6.2.0012 but I still get the nasty widgets from Touchdown...
Any idea why this would be? I used ROM Manager to flash the zip file.
Can you tell me which font you are using?

Do you know if there is any way to make simple counting widgets for Touchdown?
I'd really like to have three widgets that do this:
Email: shows unread email count. When tapping on the widget, it takes you to the email portions of TD.
Tasks: Shows unfinished tasks count. When tapping on the widget, it takes you to the task portion of TD.
Calendar: Shows the number of remaining appts. for today. When tapping on the widget, it takes you to the calendar portion of TD.
Hey, thanks for this stuff.

HTC Sense Weather Widget BACKGROUND

Hey I'm looking for the HTC sense weather widget blue grid background(s) but I just can't seem to find them, I've downloaded two different sense ROMs that have them but can only find the icons.

I have a feeling they could be located in a .m10 file called: Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10
Does anyone know where I can locate it, or if I can open up .m10 files and get the image I can only get the text of them so far, looking around for different tutorials.

found a tutorial, but still having trouble.
For you
Day
Morning
Night
BTW you can use the Wallpaper Changer from the Google Play to change morning, day and night wallpapers according to the set times.
Does someone know the changing times of the lock screen wallpapers?
And just for the record: in the above post the day wallpaper is morning and vice versa.
Thanks for your help. For future reference in case someone is searching for the same question, the reason why it didn't work is because the M10 Editor that I was using can't decompile Sense 4.0 at this time - so I used Sense 3.0 files.

I've been using Tasker to change the wallpaper at different time (can't do lockscreen wallpaper AFAIK), I only set up two wallpapers though but I made the wallpapers the right dimensions for my phone - HD2 obviously and I'm NexusHD2 with the DPI set to 192 (not sure if it makes a difference to wallpapers (don't think so).
So you just need to disable wallpaper scrolling.
This pack has the three wallpapers 960x800 4.39 MB
Thanks gonne try this with tasker for the nice effect what you got on your hd2

S6 theme not working properly

Today I got a system update of around 120mb and after that the themes are not working properly.
The theme icon are not showing up on the home screen or in the menus. I am using a material theme and the changed icon is showing only on the lock screen.
I've tried different themes, restarting the handset and I even did a hard reset.
Anybody else facing this problem?

Same problem here.
I've tried to install/reinstall different themes but the issue persists.
I think Samsung screwed it up badly. I don't have the new update, but when I submit themes to the store they tell me it has all these problems that are out of my control. Random icons moved, or not showing, certain colours not changing etc. One of my themes is literally one that is in the store now only with different colours, so it definitely would have any mistakes in it.
There was a recent system update and now the themes are woking fine.
Maybe you guys should wait a bot more, it'll be probably corrected soon.
Same here
Even after a second update I still only have standard icons no matter what theme is chosen. The lock screen is the only place correct icons are shown. This is six days after last update that started the problem. Any suggestions?

Mmmm have never tried this. Pc tech savvy but not android... complicated? Is there a how to somewhere. Imagine it means backing up phone contents. Will it definately work or just a maybe? I'm using nova launcher at the moment to get close to the theme I like.

Looking for a MIUI / Xiaomi theme like

Hello,
Im a new Z3c owner.
As far as I understood, I should keep the offical xperia rom (updated to android 6) if I want to keep the full potential of this phone.
Especialy regarding Camera quality, right ?
So, what would you recommand in order to get a Xiomi / Miui / iOS like theme ?
In order to :
- remove the app folder button
- have better app icons than xperia ones..
Thanks for you help
Hopefully this may help you. I use nova launcher for the exact same look you want to achieve. And the most consistent icon pack that works for me is pop ui. Once you select the icon pack in nova launcher, the icons will replace the old ones, however you can then change whichever icons that don't suit your look with other alternatives in the pack. Both are paid apps but serve their purpose really well. You can get the free version of nova launcher but you will sacrifice certain things like changing icon size and icon notification badges. You will need the teslaunread app as well to get the badge notifications. If you want an exact clone of ios you can download png icon packs from deviant art and replicate the status bar with an xposed module called Flat Style Bar Indicators. But all that will probably turn you into an obsessive ios freak lol, plus it requires too much time and effort. I love the freedom of android but I love the look of ios, so I manage to get the best of both on my z3 compact.

*edit* as far as the app drawer goes, you have 3 options... 1) You could just remove it and forget about all the apps you don't use. 2) you could just change the app drawer icon to a folder icon and just think of it as a folder which houses all of your unnecessary apps. 3) nova launcher 5 Beta allows you to access the app drawer by swiping up from the dock.
Hope this helps.

no solutions, that's very annoying
All you need to do is this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

Stock weather widget still not appearing
On my Mate 10 pro, using the stock Huawei weather widget with Nova caused a crash....seems to be an EMUI thing.
Unfortunately... there is no solution to let you use the Huawei widget, but you can use a different weather app. ...Any one from the play store works fine...I recommend HD Widgets
Hope this helps
if you have it, use KWGT for weather widgets, if need app then weather underground
yeah - some widgets dont update correctly - seems like a battery saver issue - i cant find a fix
Have the same problem about bookmark widget for chrome, just freezes after the phone is locked for the 1 time after enabling it..
I'm using yahoo weather.. i'ts working fine with nova.
Al stock widgets have a problem with third party launchers. We have to wait for an update.
But you can use third party widgets from playstore. Kgwt or Zooper
Not optimal solution but better than nothing if you're like me and really want a widget (my tasks in Wunderlist):
"In Nova, there is a set of experimental features called “Labs”.
Within NOVA LAUNCHER, hold volume-down for a full second to activate the Labs set of options (initially they are all off).
Then turn on the one called “Restart Widgets on Resume”.
Then, instead of restarting phone early every day… Just click on Nova Settings, then hit home button to exit Nova Settings.
DONE.
Widget now shows and refresh."
this should work
