About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

finally DU11 !!!! great job man ! already using DU 10.6 for kenzo and i was impressed with the perfomance.

If you are coming from a mm rom then flashing cm14 firmware once is necessary and if you are coming from a n Rom then no need to flash cm14 firmware again

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop,the rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

The rom should contain everything you need to enjoy nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
1. Download ROM and Gapps and transfer to device
2. Boot into recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe the system, cache, data, and dalvik cache
4. Install ROM
5. Install Gapps
7. Reboot to system

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next official build?
A. Yes, the next official release will be on Wednesday around 6:00am (Eastern time)​
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet available for nougat, however when it is ready you will need to use the version arm sdk 25.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post..
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the system, cache, and dalvik cache, flash the ROM, gapps, and reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Go to settings/Navigation
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip in the substratum folder in the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q. How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?

2. improved performance
3. added the pixel home button animation (disabled by default, you can enable it in settings/navigation/Smartbar settings/Button touch animation)
We were approved for official support, so the first official build will be soon

Flash ROM Zipfile
Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional)
Reboot to system
The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!
KERNEL:
Kernel in this ROM follows LAOS source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the buildin OTA app that needs TWRP recovery installed to work.
You can still use CWM/LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved in the "AICP_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

That's gr8 I really appreciate the work you put into it in the past. You don't know I almost pm you a couple of times :laugh:. If not for you @Beeko , @alial04 ,& @Android-Andi i would still be scratching my head. Lol! Right now I am using a mix of branch cm 14.1 & cm 13.1 in my tree.

Just use open gapps 6.0 nano arm, you can add more from play store later. But this is p3110 based so make a backup & store on sdcard, bcuz not sure if it will work for p3100. Ril telephony stuff is included but tested. Let me know & I will run a 3g build tonight or tomorrow morning.

if you install a only wifi build on a 3g device it also can be possible that you have no audio

I just wanted to report that I have successfully installed aicp_espressowifi_mm-11.0-UNOFFICIAL-20170707.zip + open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-20170709.zip on my P5113 (espressowifi) tablet and to thank you for building/sharing AICP with us.

Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:

0.Flash Latest Firmware
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache

6. Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional)
7. Reboot to system

It means builds are built every day. It's up to you to flash them everyday, if you want to risk the experimental changes

Great to see you back Developer and remember one thing. There will always be haters no matter what service you give to people. So never bother and keep moving. I'm still waiting to unlock my device and start experimenting customs roms.

How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
Include your firmware versions in reports.
Mention any and all Magisk modules you might be using along with the Magisk version
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

How to flash for the first time:

Before starts download the ROM, GApps and Firmware in your PC.
1) Wipe -> format data -> type yes
2) Reboot recovery
3) Wipe -> advance wipe -> select data, cache, dalvik e internal storage
4) Copy firmware, ROM and GApps in ur phone
5) Flash firmware, ROM and GApps
6) Wipe cache and dalvik
7) Reboot
Flash custom kernel/Magisk after reboot recovery.

I tried several times, following the instructions, and it didn't boot. Didn't try with opengapps, maybe in a couple of days I'll try again.

I always used Flame gapps basic, but it leads to have no latinIME, but after flashing Flame gapps full, as is stated in OP everything is OK.

Thanks for providing this ROM , im gonna give it one week test period and report back.

Me and my tester are using Flame GApps Full (linked in thread) and it booted and now works fine. Did you do a format data before boot it?

Hi, yes is correct! PA kernel need 2 format data (i'm not using latest PA kernel, so in Quartz2 is possibile that it isn't needed) for booting ROM.

I have a problem...when a make a call, the call/telephone app do not appears (so, for example, i cannot answer neither close a call!).
Edit: that's the case, the phone app do not Works.
