I like teal!

I found... nice work
This can be used to flash the logo via TWRP no need to fastboot or PC
Logo_Flasher.zip
I share this and some other special flasher zip on TWRP thread...
that file have a readme.txt:
This zip must be used with a logo.bin file the file can be find on stock Moto ROM and modified using app you can find on XDA
place the logo.bin on the root of this zip, the file name must be logo.bin
The just flash the zip via TWRP.
very simple to use... you can edit the "updater-script" to display a message on TWRP during flash...
Can you make another one? or share how you are making this so I can edit?
Instead of green on black logo I prefer RED, a deep Blood/RED more dark then a normal RED, the last boot.logo editor I try It did not work very well.

Great tool, once I figured out "place the logo.bin on the root of this zip" meant INSIDE the zipped folder.
I first placed it in the same folder as the zipped file (my Download folder). Didn't work. Then, I re-read and realized it meant the logo.bin file had to placed INSIDE the zipped folder. My fault. So, I did that and worked smoothly! :good:

Yes root the folder with "/" on it's "name", fancy way of represent the first or top folder of a file system or in this case a .zip, in linux/android we see it representation more than in others OS.
Will add some clarify and this pic to solve that...

can i use my own logo instead of motorola?

Now my bootloader looks beautiful, thanks! Flashed in twrp.

[TOOL][FASTBOOT] QuikIMG - A frontend for fastboot [0.2 beta][22 Mar]

QuikIMG
A small tool I made to flash .img files through fastboot easily and quickly, without the need to type in commands manually. Originally I only made it for personal use but I decided to release it here. Someone might find this useful.
Q: FlashTool has this feature. Why bother?
A: Just because I can. Use whichever you prefer.

Code:

Then drag the .img from your download folder to the CMD window and it will enter the full path for you (with quotes if required).

[BOOTANIMATION] Red OnePlus Logo/CyanogenMod Loop

Hey everyone!
Inspired by this thread here: Red OnePlus Logo-Boot Reboot Animation from Chinese ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2768755
Drawing inspiration from the red splash screen provided in the thread linked above, this boot animation combines the Chinese downanimation with the CyanogenMod 11S bootanimation. It looks very nice with the red Chinese splash screen, again in the thread linked above. Note, the actual boot animation is nowhere near as choppy as it is in the preview below.

Thanks. The bootanimation.zip I can self-service on the phone, but just wondering if there's anyway to get the logo.img (red) onto the phone painlessly. I ask also because I'm a flashaholic so I feel like I need to flash CM nightlies all the time, meaning I need to re-do the logo thing all the time.
Hopefully someone is more advanced than me here. I'll do some googling to see what I can learn

FAILED (data transfer failure (Value too large for defined data type))
Edit:
Downloaded logo.img all went fine
Im now tempted to create my own boot animation for the oneplus now...:victory:
Making progress here... I made a yellow/orange-ish one.
The file is a picture with raw hex values as colors.
I still need to figure out the size of the header and write a converter tho...
EDIT: The header is 512 bytes in size. After that, at 0x0001D0 the color values start. The color order is BGR, and the bit depth is 24bit. I am currently working on a converter.
Screeens!
The orange is really pale on the pictures, but it is really there. The white specks are not the screen being damaged (how even), but rather me trying to figure out the first pixel of the file.

What programs have you used to create the bootanimations (Techno.zip - logo.bin and the other files in the .zip) ?
Also, how do I install the new bootanimation ?
Is this it? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953726
But do I have to use "your original logo.bin file" ?
Can't it create a fresh new file from scratch ?
I see there is another file format - Bios Bootanimation.zip - system/media folder, bootanimation.zip file - I can create that using Boot Animation Factory.
And, do I also need the other files (CERT.RSA, CERT.SF...) and folders (META-INF, com......) ?
Can I just create a new bootanimation.zip file, using Boot Animation Factory, copy/replace to system/media folder ?
Thanks.
Here CM12 bootanimation. Move to system/media and replace old bootanimation.zip

Thanks adilrenzu,
Regards,
how do I install the new boot animation ???
I already asked that a few days ago and got no answer.
Regular bootanimation.zip file is installed by copying to /system/media/ folder, first backup, then overwite old file.
But there are other files (archives) which contain bootanimation.zip or logo.bin and other files. I think you can install these files using custom recovery, like TWRP.
Also, how do I create this type of boota animations ?

The ones from the first post are.all flashable zips. Using a custom recovery, first backup your logo partition, then choose install, select one of these zips, and install it. Pretty simple. I don't know about the cyanogenmod one or any from other posts, as I haven't looked at them.
On a side note, most likely people aren't responding is because if you can't figure this out on your own, it might not be something that you should be doing. Flashing things can be dangerous, and no one wants to be responsible for you bricking your device.

If I extract the bootanimation.zip file from those flashable archives and just copy them in the /system/media/ folder, does it work like that ?

Please Hit THANKS if you like My Work.
Thanks to developers for the beautiful boot logos. All logos are good but I liked the Autumn Couple one but it is not working. After flashing it in twrp, only blank image with a tiny white box appears. Other logos are working fine. Am I missing something?
Reuploaded link of Autumn couple

Did you choose the custom resolution? cuz I'm unable to save as a zip . It says file size too large. I've also tried decreasing the resolution of the image, but it still says file size too large. pls help.

use Moto G4 Plus from the combo box list. It will increase the logo size partition...
Just use "save as" option fromthe menu.. it will automatically create a flashable zip for you.

You can't remove it as such, as it's a bootloader overlay. What you can do is mask it with white so that it can't be seen. If there's no way you can mask it, post it anyway, there are people who don't mind seeing the N/A.

I am going to create a bootlogo using the following image.
It's a screenshot of low quality for which I am not sure how the bootlogo will be.
I'll ask for help if I need.
I made the G6 bootlogo but i can't install the zip or ibstall using adb, can i give you the image so you can try to make it work?
I have created a dark version of Google Pixel White Bootlogo.
As it is a dark bootlogo the small yet distinctive white text N/A appears on the left hand side.
You have to put up with it.
Link to the bootlogo is : https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1k6UeFZjVdr_h3aFmes_2qkXdXukjd6Pw
The folder contains preview of the bootlogo without N/A text as well as the TWRP flashable zip.
I'll create more soon and post here.
