Suggestion for a new phone.

I have a galaxy Note and IPhone 5, need to replace the Note. So, my budget is about 30,000INR or roughly 480$. I was thinking about the LG G2, Xperia Z2 or 1+1. I pretty much want the G2 but still... [emoji14] Also, I'm dicey about the 1+1 due to CyanogenMod being banned in India.
If there is any other phone which I missed, I'll be glad to check it out too.
Any help is appreciated guys
i suggest you Meizu MX4 PRO...
the galaxy s4 is also a nice option(around 18000 right now on amazon.in)

ZTE axon, or axon elite

Man, if it wasn't for lack of development on these devices, one of the 2 would be in my pocket now.
That's the thing that's worrying me. The Axon Pro is an awesome phone, and I love having it. The lack of a decent case and the sparse community is making me look toward the G4 or the Moto X now. I'm very torn because this is a cool phone.

Forum for ZTE Axon

I'm looking into buying a non-pro ZTE Axon (Snapdragon 801)

Is this the forum for it?
Description of the phone for this forum reads Snapdragon 810.
Mainly looking to see if it has an unlocked/unlockable bootloader and custom ROMs
Thanks!
I would hold off on purchasing the Axon A1. I have had this phone for 6 months and while the hardware is fine, the lack of an OS upgrade to Marshmallow is concerning. There are many people on many forums querying ZTE on the availability of Marshmallow for this handset. All have been met with radio silence. I love the hardware, but hate the lack of software support from the manufacturer. I am days away from retiring the handset because of little software glitches that should have been worked out by now.

ZTE Axon 9 not a true successor to the Axon 7?

Now the Axon 9 has finally been released, it looks like it isn't much of a successor to the Axon 7 and is instead attempting to be the same as pretty much all other phones out there.
I refer, of course, to the lack of dual front-facing speakers, and headphone jack. It really doesn't seem to have the same audio focus as the Axon 7.
I suppose we should have seen this coming what with the Axon M nonsense instead of the Axon 8.
I wonder what the options are now for people wanting good front-facing speakers. I notice the Xiaomi Mi MIX INFLUX has them, but they're both on the bottom, which seems odd. I wonder why they couldn't put a pair on the top too (one on each corner), so it would be stereo in both landscape and portrait.
I'm currently using a Pixel 2, which is good enough, I guess...it has the nice crisp treble of front-facing speakers, but the bass is lacking, and there's no headphone jack...(no to mention dual sim [though it has an esim, apparently] and microsd).
Hola
I was eagerly awaiting the final build and spec sheet of this A9 Pro device, and after seeing the few reviews I must agree with your overall assessment. At one time I considered the Axon 7 the very best smartphone you could buy for the price. The ability to run custom ROMs made the purchase all the more better. It boggles the $%&^%* mind how ZTE could change the strengths of the Axon 7 (audio dept) and come up with this piece of garbage. They added a stupid notch, and copied the placement of the cameras on the back, when the Axon 7 had a very pleasing and unique look. Well their loss, maybe the phone will sell well in China and a few select markets, but I can see it won't get the sales that the Axon 7 got globally. Very sad!
I doubt it will sell well at all in China...they have next to no presence in China, oddly. A few years ago, you could find them in the street phone shops, but not in the past year or so.... completely gone.
I figured they'd decided to concentrate on western markets like the USA and Europe... ROFL.
They are calling it a "gaming phone". hmm...two speakers down at one end of the screen aren't really going to immerse you when playing games.
Iinm, one is at the top on the front and the other is on the bottom.

sorry, seems I got it mixed with the Xiaomi Mi MIX INFLUX, although I've seen several of the Axon9 intro videos, and can't clearly pick out a bottom speaker slot, but one at the top.
Looking at the price, it is definitely not a true successor to the Axon 7, and if they listened to user feedback, they would not have put such a big notch on the device with extra space used when not needed.
I was a huge supporter of ZTE and the Axon 7. I was completely convinced Axon 9 would be amazing. but when i saw no US version and no dual stereo speakers, i gave One Plus a shot with the One Plus 6t. they finally got Verizon certification with the 6t, something Zte never did on axon 7.on OP6t, there is a mod to use the earpiece speaker as a second speaker that is awesome. its still not as good as the axon 7 was on stock with Dolby, Dual front speakers and dedicated DAC, but honestly, im glad i didnt keep waiting on ZTE to get their game together. i still use both of my axon 7 for media, but the a2017u was end of the line for me and ZTE.

Why Do Not Support this device?
The Axon 9 has a 130 degree ultra wide angle lens which is one of the most underrated features in today's smartphones in my opinion. What alternatives are there with such a lense? The only alternative I know is is the Huawei Mate 20 which features a 104 degree lens. Most phones only have a 77 degree lens.

Redmi Note 6 Pro Cases

Hi all,
Recently got the Redmi Note 6 Pro, and I really love the device.
However, I am not really keen of the provided case.
Has someone already bought an alternative?
Would love to hear some feedback or see some pictures.
Thanks!
I snagged this thin hybrid on eBay for about $6 USD. You can get it from China for < $4, if you don't mind waiting 3 weeks. Pretty functional. I'm digging the finger loop on the back.
