Mobile Data turns on after reboot, WITHOUT permission..... - T-Mobile Note 7 Questions & Answers

Anyone else experience this? After I restart the phone, WITH mobile data OFF, the OS boots up & along with it the mobile data turns back on. FYI, I also have Smart Network Switch off, AND Wi-Fi is off as well. I can even reboot with Airplane mode on, and after it boots, I turn off Airplane mode, and mobile data turns itself on again! Please help and assure me my phone isn't possessed! I believe this happened with my Note 5 as well, and somehow it went away. Cant remember what i did, so long ago! To add to all that, neither is/was rooted and both at the time were freshly bought and turned on! Hope to hear some good things from you all!

[Q] Stuck on Flight Mode ON - No Wifi, No Bluetooth, No Cellnetwork

I dropped my phone in the water. Got the battery out quickly and opened up the phone from A to Z (except the circuitry under the screen) and got it dry, left it to dry for 48 hours on top.
Now, my phone is back together and it boots, screen works, sound works, OS works.
But the phone is always in Airplane mode when I boot it. If I try to change the Airplane Mode to Off from the menu shown while pressing Power, it says it turned it Off, but it's then greyed out (can't turn it On and says its off). If I go in the Settings in Wireless settings, Flight mode is still on. If I try to turn it Off from there, it says, turning on wireless things.. but stays there.. If i go <-back and go back into Wireless settings, flight mode is still On. If I go in Wifi settings, the wifi is off, if I select it to be on, it starts scanning and eventually says: Unable to scan networks.
So, I'm wondering, what part is busted ? Anyone know ? My connections seem to be OK, I've put it back as it was. I'm basically bummed.
Also, in settings-status my IMEI is unknown and pretty much everything relating to connectivity. USB works though.
Any ideas? tricks ? anything ? other than buying a new phone to replace this one.
Cheers.

no cell service, sim not detected, airplane mode stuck on

Recently, when I would reboot my phone, or battery pull, or anything that turns the phone off, it will not have service, nor detect a sim when it turns back on. A new sim card didnt help. wipe cache/dalvik/ flashed new rom did not help.
It seems to boot into airplane mode and never come out of it. I have created tasker toggles with secure settings to forcefully turn airplane mode on and off, but 'no service' still shows in my notification bar, both with airplane mode on and off.
After using tasker+secure setting and leaving the phone off for whole day I got service back, and made a phone call. When I rebooted again the problem came back.
is there a boot script or xml i can edit to ensure airplane mode is not on at boot? The phone seems really confused as to whether it is on airplane mode or not.
ATT Note 3 running dynakat 5.0 edit: flashed 7.1 and still problem persists
just wiped and flashed dynakat 7.1 and still no sim card detection.
Mine does that sometime. I just hit *#*#4636#*#* and hit device information and it usually connects after a few seconds. Idk what it does when i hit that but it recconects everything. Its worth a try

Hmm. That number doesn't work for me, though it used to open up cell settings. For some reason my phone is starting in airplane mode. I'll try wiping cache again.
*#*#4636#*#* didnt do anything for my on Dynakat but i just flashed firekat and got into the phone settings. Here's what they look like. The 'turn radio on' button doesn't do anything. The third picture shows the phone not knowing in what state of airplane mode its in. The options say its off, but the notification bar says it is on.
Flashed the 4.4.4 NL1 odin tars found here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/kitkat-4-4-4-n900aucudnl1-odin-tars-t2999317. 2g works but no data connection. Guess im gonna have to send it in.

Airplane Mode Reboot

I work in a place with no Reception. I am on VZW (if it matters), when i get to a place outside, i turn my Airplane mode back off and
the phone automatically reboots.
I have my phone set to a pin if none of my trusted devices are connected, then the pin comes up.
Is the phone supposed to reboot auto when turning AP mode back off??
thanks,
mike

No, it's not. If it's soft reboot, then I should say, it's the major bug, evidenced by many user. Many users are facing this bug. Force reboot or force shut down

Okay that's what i was thinking, hopefully they fix this bug!
This is the first android device ive owned and not Rooted/Unlocked and ROMd.
might consider now...
Also happens to me, disable Airplane Mode and I the phone reboots about 1 out 3 times.
I'm on VZW and also airplane the phone while at work all day. I have never had a reboot when leaving and turning airplane off. been doing this for two months now.
I'm on stock, rooted, with lean kernel. no exposed or anything like that.

[Q] HELP! Phone restart

Hey!
So i've been recently having a problem with my HTC One M7 where i would turn it on, then it would go straight to the home screen and gives me a notification about being connected to wifi which enables me to use wifi calling. But my Wifi calling is disabled. Then after about 10 seconds of my phone being on, it turns off and restart itself. I've just recently recovered my phone and updated my phone before this started happening me. I dont know what to do! Please Help!
Thanks!

Any Ideas? Need Help

phone is an att note 5, unlocked, using t-mobile sim. *Due note, I repaired the lcd on this as it was shattered, along with the back glass cover, and everything was fine until I unlocked it*
Problem is, when I stop using the phone and the phone locks or "sleeps". It seems that it doesn't turn back on or wake up (Black screen, sometimes shows blue light indicating I have a notification but still black screen) if i press any key or button. Only way for it to show anything is to hold the power button longer to fully turn it back on. Take note, this only happens when my WIFI is on and working and I stop using the phone. The time varies, sometimes it won't do it for couple minutes, sometimes a few seconds. I dont even know my phone has been turned off or dead asleep literally, as there is no sound or anything either.
This will continue to do this until when i boot the phone back up and the wifi CANT be turned on at all, letting me use just the mobile data and it wont shut off or anything and works fine except, wifi can't be turned on at all.
NOW to get my wifi back up and running, I can't simply restart, I have to fully power down, then turn on the phone. BUT again, if wifi works, it'll end up shutting off once I stop using the phone.
Any ideas? I'm on OI6 firmware, I cleared cache, tried factory reset any way you can, I've tried safe mode. Still the same problem.
I can't flash the firmware as ATT hasn't released anything soo its pretty much strictly a phone without wifi at this point.

Flash it using the option Emergency software recovery and initialization on Smart Switch.

Ya I did that when I was on OGG. Didn't help either way, but I'm guessing its the unlock itself. When I use someones ATT sim, wifi works great. When I put the tmobile sim back in, wifi can't be turned on but my mobile data works.
