Try re-downloading the ROM or downloading Lollipop if you tried to install Marshmallow

Hi guys plz help me ... after trying to update camera firmware of my galaxy s it stopped working, I solved reflashing the files of samsung wave camera firmware... but I wasn t happy because during video recording two little black stripes made the image slightly smaller so I started flashing a variety of camera firmware i find on various websites, unfortunately unsuccessfully ... but now I cant make camera work again with wave camera firmware files! The flash always comes to 99% it stops for 5secs and then it tells SUCCESS, if I check the camera fw the second information is undefinied....what can i do??

You may refer to this thread and download the updated version of the camera firmware for i9000.. i tried on mine (I9000 International) and works fine. hope it helps..

they said they had to change my whole camera module (front and back cam and cam controller) to fix it. flash stock firmware they will do it by guarantee if you dont say anything about a camera firmware flashing..

now i have darky rom...if i told them camera stopped working after camera firmware flashing would they flash stock firmware anyway? i think is better they can't see i have darky rom!

Right out of the box the front camera works fine for maybe 15-30s then freezes and force closes. After that the camera app won't start but gives error "Camera failed". Same with front camera in all camera apps. Factory reset doesn't help. Does anyone have the same problem? Maybe another firmware would help?
I got the same probrem my front camera works fine but my rear camera doeen't work in any camera app, tried restoring updating but no help

Did you flashed any MOD Kernel?? if so flash Stock Kernel and ROM and see, if it doesnt work then go for warranty replacement.
My camera don't focus, the focus is always fixed focus at like 1meter, in all camera apps and in the original too, the camera button is only good for start the camera, but dosn't take photos, I tray to restore the phone but no luck, I flash diferent tft by flashtool(last version) 757/681/290 but no luck, I open the bootloader searching for some kernel will fix it but I try doomkernel, aroma and original whit no luck. im runing out of options, any idea? it's a software problem or a hardware problem?

As far as I know this is a software problem which was introduced when we got KitKat for the Xperia Z1. This thread should contain all the information needed to fix this issue.
Make sure to make a backup of your data, that includes all data on your internal and external sd-card.

hi all,
my camera doesn't work any more
what happened is , i was on cm12 rom and every thing work properly , and then i flashed an android 7.1 modified rom on my phone
and the camera wasn't working (sometimes it works and sometimes its not ) so i tried to flash sony z4 camera mod on my phone and no thing changed , so i returned back to cm12 rom but the camera still not working
i also tried the generic system firmware , and tried every camera app i the store ( include open camera ) and still not working
pleas help me
I have with eu rom, unlocked and playstore has been installed. The downside the front camera is not detected. Any enlightment please
