Found some time-saving shortcuts

Hi,
Just now as i was fideling with my ob, i found some shortcuts that will for sure save your precious time a little (if you already haven't placed shortcuts for them in your homescreens).
In the notification bar the toggles when long pressed opens up their respective settings screen
1. Sound - Sound settings
2. Wifi - Wifi settings
3. Bluetooth - Bluetooth settings
4. Gps - Gps settings and
5. Data connectivity - Network settings.
If you didn't already know this than a thanks is much appriciated.

Is there a way to change the 4.Gps and 5.data connectivity to Rotation and Brightness?

No there ain't a way to change these in the stock roms.
Use extended control or some other app like that to place shortcut widgets of those in your homescreens.

Using NFC to toggle system settings

I just got myself a pack of NFC tags and I'm looking forward to using them!
Can I use them to toggle on and off certain system settings like Aeroplane Mode and others? Or would I need one tag for On and another for Off? Do I need tasker to do this?

Yes, you will need an app to program the tag for whatever action you like the tag to do. My tags have 2actions, one for ON like actions, and one for OFF. If i use the tag in my bedroom, my hox and my nexus will activate the wifi, turn the brightness to 0% and such things. If i hold again the device next to the tag, the mobile data will turn on, wifi off...
I use NFC Task Launcher App + Tagstand writer (wich is an addon for that app), you can find it in playstore.

notification on lockscreen- can i have more then 2 Lines of info? can i cancel WIFI??

first of all how can i stop this annoying notification on lock screen of the WIFI available in where i am...?! it is also always on top of all notification even if i set whatsapp to be in priority....
any way i can cancel this annoying WIFI available from the lock screen??!
and second - can i have a full screen notification on lock screen and not just 2 lines of notification...?? (i don't want to use 3rd app of lock screen because then the fingerprint sensor will not work..

i use next gen lockscreen by Microsoft and can still use the fingerprint sensor with it. its pretty customisable.

Tasker accessibility issues with Waze

Hi all, I am using Xiaomi Max 2 (Miui Eu rom), rooted and had installed both Tasker and Waze.
I had set auto rotate to be off, and only trigger when certain app (waze) is selected.
However, there are times whereby the profiles do not get activated. Instead, I will need to access the accessibility tab, unselect and reset the app, then the system will prompt me to accept before working.
Can anyone share with me on why is it as such? Thanks.

I've had the same problem.
The only way to solve it was to use another automation app (now I cannot recall which one) that allowed me to set the orientation of the screen to "landscape" when I launched some apps.
Tasker can only turn on, off or toggle auto-rotation which often creates problems. For me the problem was if the phone was not 100% in landscape mode the trigger locked the rotation in portret.

turn off "add icons to homescreen"

With 8.1 I noticed that they somehow relocated the option to prevent newly installed apps from adding icons to my homescreen.
A quick google search gave me a simple solution, which was simply turn it off in Home Settings.
But I couldn't find the switch in my options.
Anyone else got the same problem/solution?
