storage/emulated/0 after custom ROM, free space and new system problem. - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

Hi everyone,
few days ago i decided to flash custom ROM instead of my stock 4.1.1 android to my Smasung Galaxy S3 LTE. Everything seems to be fine but when i wanted to make backup through CWM it did it but to the last cwm folder in storage/emulated and then i couldn't make recovery from it. The path of my actual place where is the data is storage/emulated/0. I don't know why the old files are saved in storage/emulated, i can't see them in my windows. Only root browser can show them. Can i delete them? Or can i just change my new storage/emulated/0 path to the old one and use my old apps with new ROM? This is very annyoing problem cus i've got ~16 gb Samsung, and windows shows that there is only 11 gb available and a lot of this space is coverd by files i can't even see. How can i fix it?

thanks for help,

check if you have important files there, i get this when use dual boot or change different kernel or cwm - better use twrp hehe
open folder /data/media/0 and replace
first copy all form /sdcard (phone memory) to computer -not sdcard1

Problem With Android on CDMA Diamond

Hi guys, i have a CDMA Diamond and tried android. It does not work for me. I try every release, but nothing works. I have followed a lot of tutorials too.
THIS IS WHAT I DO, AM I MISSING SOMETHING?
1) I put all my personal files in a folder in the 4gb internal storage
2) Then i download the latest build of Android, from XDA
3) I put all the files from the zip into root of internal storage
4) I then put the startup config.(for me it is in the Diam500 directory) in the root of internal storage.
5) Next I run haret.exe
6) a notification comes up and says "Booting Linux"
7) then a blackscreen comes up with a lot of white writing, and it moves up.
8) NOW this runs for a long time, once i let it run for ONE and a half HOUR
9) Later like after a lot of minutes it does not move a lot, it moves about every 5 mins.
10) The above steps is exactly what i do if i am missing something, please let me know, i'll try to give you a reward, like a download. Im only 13 and have no credit card so i cant give money.
THANKS
ok ....first extract androidapps, conf, media, initrd.gz, haret, rootfs.img, and system.sqsh from the latest xdandroid package to the root of your internal storage....then download the latest kernel from here . extract the three files to the root of the internal storage....

I still can go to download and recovery modes and I guess it's matter of selecting proper tar+ pit ? I really don't know if possible help me out.
Thank you !
P.S.
To MOD, I post 2 identical posts because I simplyu could not find exact forum I need. Thank you for understanting
I'm in the exact same position, and I believe that it is our internal SD card that is damaged, that's why mmcblk0 (internal SD) fails to load, and why using ICS roms leads to the Encryption Unsuccessful bug.
The only solution I've found that makes sense in all possible ways is this HARDWARE fix but I'm a bit scared of trying it, so I'm currently working on a software only solution but its taking a while...

Copy all folders/files from your phone & check the size, if it doesn't match up with the problem you are facing then It's better to factory reset & copy back only needed files.
I feel may be few files are hidden.

Interesting, but how did you manage to corrupt your efs partition? And how should developer Rom help your Problem (if there will be one in future, what is not clear)?
This was completely my fault. İ am not so interested phone OS or softwares but i like investing.
I learn while i broke something
i need my efs partition's recreation but i it is not possible. my only hope is a rom that create itself. I dont know what exactly called, i read at somewhere as "eng mod".

Question Mi 11 Ultra backup missing descript files

So, I backedup my Mi 11 Ultra on CN rom, then copied the folder to an external SSD, now a few days later (im going home) I choose to Install Global 14.0.2 with fastboot + wipe, and now I can't restore the backup. It seems i;m missing 3 Descript files, named.
all_descript.xml
descript.xml
select_descript.xml
(some snippet of code?) note this is a test backup after formatting to Global 14.0.2. (original backup was on CN 14.0.9)

Now, I could run a script to make a new version of it for the folders, and files, however that would take forever.
Is there anyway to restore without using xiaomi's backup software, and if anyone's willing to help me make a script or some way to solve this that't be great!
these are the files missing from my Global backup
