supersu pro latest update killed my radio, now bricked. - T-Mobile LG G4

Today I received a notification from supersu pro that I needed an update. After it installed it requested a restart. After restart, there was no connection to cell service nor could I turn the radio on in network settings nor were there any settings registered. I was however able to connect using WiFi from my home computer. I was running stock rom with twrp-recovery and OS h81120o for t-mobile. I tried restoring backups by twrp with no radio/network function. I installed
twrp-3.0.2-0-h811.img
android_device_lge_h811-android-5.1.zip
G4-H811-MM-20i-Stock-Debloated-Rooted.zip
G4-H811-MM-20o-Stock-Debloated-Rooted.zip
G4-H811-MM-20o-Stock-Rooted in this order with nothing different working in network connection and radio off. I finally installed LG-H81120i-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip and it said installed successful yet when restarted the phone bricked. No power on, nothing. I received than same notice for my rooted Samsung galaxy tab 4 8.1 and declined it and am still running fine there. Any thoughts?

Hey,
I was in the exact same boat and almost gave up!
Got my LG back from repair and I rooted it then made a back up, everything was working fine. Flashed a new ROM and updated SuperSU, was not able to get a signal or mobile connection after that. IMEI Number was now NULL. I tried factory reset but still nothing can get the network signal back. Even restoring back to my back up did not work.
I read that if you flashed the LG-H81120i-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip you will brick so I avoided that. I finally found the solution and maybe this will work for you.
Download LG UP and your kdz file (H81120o_00_0613.kdz was mine) on your pc.
Set phone into Download mode by pressing volume up and connect to PC.
Open LG UP and load the KDZ path file and run. Phone should reboot and come back. My signal came back after this.
I hope this method works for you.
Best of luck!

Flashed kdz with lg software, imei and boot problems.. Help please

. I flashed the KZ file with lg update software as explained in the XDA thread but I could not get the process to work right. My phone kept disconnecting at 28% and it would not turn on no matter what I did. It would only make a short vibrate as if it was turning on, and the computer would notice it but only for a short time. And never once did a light on the screen, or LG logo, or anything at all ever appear.
I figured I had really screwed it up, but when I plugged it into the wall it booted up perfectly. All my data was in tact and the rom i had flashed through cwm was still there, not the kdz file that I flashed with the lg software.. I noticed that my sim card did not come up as being in the phone at all. I looked in system setting status and noticed that all info related to my imei said unknown. I opened up the mfg app (277634#*# from the phone app).. Under "version info" then "factory version" my phone now says xmm6260.. It always used to say p925..etc... Even after flashing the zip to debrand from at&t this never changed from p925 even when every other aspect of my phone has.. I was hoping maybe once I put in an activated sim card everything would be fine and my phone would be unlocked which is why i flashed through lg software.. But seeing as how other people are having this similar issue and their phones not seeing the sim card, well im looking for some advice.. Should I try and re flash kdz file through lg software again? if i do, im going to do it on my XP computer this time, not Windows 7..
Just wanted to add that I did try wiping data and cache from cm and no dice.. Root and CMW work fine but no matter what I do, if my phone is turned off, i cannot boot up or boot to cwm or boot at all unless i plug the phone into a wall carger and then once its on it stays on and i can unlug.. SORRY ABOUT THE LONG POST, THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP..
I would reflash CWR first and foremost, then try to flash back to stock.
No IMEI/GSM Radio
Hi, were you able to fix your problem? If so, could you please give me a hand, I have same problem.
Im attaching a couple of screen shots, one where you can see that IMEI is not shown and other is where you see the phone number thats on the SIM but has a sign like if no SIM were inserted.
Using the KDZ detects the IMEI, but after flashing it doesnt show up on phone.
Thanks
Took my phone to a cellphone shop and they fixed it. Everything is back to stock and working normal.
Hi ive got the same problem, did you fix it?
Yes, my phone is working perfect at stock. Im going to wait for GB ir ICS with a working 850MHz baseband.

Recovery Mode

I have two Verizon Motorola Droid A855's that I want to turn into iPod Touch alternatives since I already own them. The phones will not have an active phone plan, so no 3G, I'll be using Wi-Fi only. This has worked fine, I am able to setup a Google account, install apps, etc. One is working great, the other is giving me fits. I have several problems with it. At this point both phones are running FRK76 (2.2.3). The one that works right updated itself OTA. The other one was at 2.2 and wouldn't update itself to 2.2.3, so I tried doing it via recovery mode and this is where my adventure started.
PROBLEM #1: Can't enter original recovery mode.
I can get into the original recovery mode normally on one of the phones, the other will not show the menu. I use Power+X buttons, the exclamation point graphic shows up, I press VolumeUp+Camera buttons and nothing happens. Works fine on the other one. I've tried the other key combos that are meant for other Droids just in case, nothing happens. I have verified the buttons work. I've also read that if I SBF back to some original rom (I've tried ESD20, FRG83G and FRK76 that I got from Peter Alfonso's site) that it will restore the original recovery mode. It has not helped. No matter what I've tried so far VolumeUp+Camera will not bring up the original recovery menu. I've been searching, and searching and nothing seems to work.
PROBLEM #2: Is there a way to activate the phone after SBF without having a Verizon phone plan?
I was able to root the phone using SuperOneClick, install Droid 2 Bootstraper, and ROM Manager. I used ROM Manager to Flash ClockworkMod Recovery 2.5.0.1 and then pressed Reboot into Recovery in ROM Manager and upon reboot I can get to a recovery menu.
That all being said, I've yet to install a ROM from within recovery that makes the phone work correctly. So, I moved on to doing SBF and ran into other problems. After any SBF install I now get a dark grey triangle in the status bar. I'm pretty sure this means I'm in roaming mode becasue I need to activate the phone using *228 option 1. The problem is that I do not have an active plan for this phone anymore so it won't activate, it asks me to enter the 10 digit phone # of the phone. I tried putting in 123-123-1234 and obviously that doesn't work, it starts to send me to customer service. At this point I just hang up.
PROBLEM #3: SBF'ed phone won't update stock apps.
After I did an SBF on the problem phone and setup a Google account on it, I then used the old Market to install any simple app. Once that is done Market updates itself to Play Store. I enter Play Store and it should show me all a list of the stock apps under the INSTALLED screen plus any available updates to the stock apps, like Facebook, Twitter, Maps, Play Music. Overnight these apps did finally show up under the ALL screen of Play Store, but they just say "Installed" and when I click on one there is no Update button, only open. None of the stock apps show up under INSTALLED. The phone thinks the newest versions of these apps is already installed, but they aren't. I am not sure what to do about this. I would like to be able to update to the newest stock apps (well, most of them). I keep reusing the same Google account on this problem phone, so maybe setting up a new account might work?
This was a long post, it seems around here shorter posts get answered but then people always ask for more info. So, I just gave the info upfront. Hope there is some help or suggestions out there. Thanks!
Problem #2 is a non-issue. You said it will not be active on a line, so there is absolutely no need to do a *228 on the phone. In fact, you will get better battery life if you turn off the cellular radio putting it into airplane mode. Wi-fi will still work if you turn it on after it's in airplane mode.

[Q] WiFi will not turn on with InsertCoin Rom 8.1-1

A few days ago I got a notification saying there was a software update for my T-Mobile HTC One but couldn't download it because there was no WiFi available at the time. So when I got to work I ran the update and it installed fine. Then after the update completed I noticed I was not getting and WiFi connectivity. It was showing that I was connected to the network but there was no internet. So I backed everything up and did a factory reset thinking maybe that would fix the issue. When it rebooted and I tried typing in the wireless password it kept failing and turning the WiFi on and off sporadically.
So when I got home that night I unlocked and rooted my phone and installed TWRP. I flashed Bulletproof Kernel since the T-Mobile Kernel is write protected from what I have read. I created a backup I could flash to in case something went wrong and had to go back to stock ROM. I tried flashing with the newest Android Revolution and Viper ROMs but both got an error saying it couldn't open the .zip file. I eventually got InsertCoin to flash but now the WiFi won't turn on at all. I then restored using the backup I had just made and had the same issue from before I did the factory reset. WiFi sporadically turning on and off and couldn't connect to any network.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

N4 unable to connect to network..Help please!

Hey everyone, so I just recently upgraded my Note 4 from KK to LP, but during the process, I had to flash the Baseband and modem before I flashed the LP ROM. I then flashed the ROM after I did that, and ended up with no network... I'm still able to make calls ONLY when I'm connected and close enough to the WiFi, texting is still fine I believe. So then I tried going through the process of downgrading to see if that would relieve the problem of my network issue, but it still isn't even working. Even after doing the process in reverse, flashing the baseband and modem before flashing my ROM.
I'd like to add that I did take apart my phone because my screen needed replacing, so I took apart my phone to see if I made my signal cables loose, they were, but then I popped them back in again, turned on my phone to see if that was the issue, and it still doesn't work, as well as my hardware back button doesn't work anymore so I have been using a nav bar to access my multi-window app.
I have tried flipping my signal cables, going from LP to KK, KK to LP, and reinstalling the firmware...
Edit: Whenever I factory reset in the stock recovery, I get an " Error:failed to mount /preload (no such file or directory)
Have you odin'd to stock lollipop?
You need to Odin stock firmware from Samsung, this will fix what you borked.
Then you can try again.

I've tried 2 fresh downloads of the stock firmware and it hasn't worked, but I will just download the file straight from Samsung this time to see if that could fix the problem. My new signal antennas I ordered from ebay are on the way and should arrive tomorrow. I'll then try that if this troubleshoot doesn't work because I don't have any 4gLte network at all, and it only pops up randomly and at certain areas I drive. I'm constantly moving and I could never have a stable connection, no calls, no text messages till I'm connected to the wifi:crying:
Edit #2: So I have installed new signal cables, and still not getting any 4G/LTE Network. I have constantly checked on my wires to see if it does anything to the network, but it doesn't. Still able to make calls on Wi-Fi only ): And I have used Odin to try and revert back to stock fully and no luck..

LG G4 Loses Network After Root and ROM Installation

I recently rooted my H811 G4 (T-mobile) and then installed the latest Imperium ROM on it. Everything worked fine for three days. The only thing that kept popping up was an alert from Lookout, saying that the Imperium Settings app had riskware and wanted me to delete it. I just ignored the warning as I figured that it was being fussy over an app from a custom ROM. I also kept getting notifications to upgrade my version of Android but I ignored those too as I learned that with a rooted phone, it either won't work, or will unroot the phone. After 3 days, I suddenly lost connectivity to the T-Mobile network. Could still make calls and text over wifi, but nothing when the wifi was off. After going into the settings, it would say that the network was disconnected. I took the phone to T-mobile and they tested the sim card in another phone, to which it worked just fine. So that told me that something was obviously wrong with my handset. I restored the phone back to factory default and was able to make calls again. Imperium was still installed on it. So I went back into recovery and wiped the phone clean. After selecting to restart the phone in TWRP, I got stuck on the bootloader screen. So I downloaded LG Bridge and got it working again. I was going to wait till I got a notification to upgrade Android before rooting it again, but after 2 days, I never got it. Has anyone else had this happen? I thought Imperium was cool but I'm not thinking of just going with another custom ROM.
